Does DB Cooper make all your lists watchmojo? :P
@@kadenwolf5798jkķlk,
If you ever feel forgotten, remember that Emilia Earhart had a co-pilot.
Yes, a guy whose name I have heard a few times but can't remember!
Amelia*
His name was Fred Noonan, and he was Earhart's navigator, not her co-pilot.
Same with Dodi Fayed and Henri Paul who died in the car crash with Diana
The Sommerton man's real identity has been finally identified in 2022. A new DNA analysis suggests the Somerton Man is Carl “Charles” Webb, an electrical engineer from Melbourne
Yeah How they miss that?
I am an Electrical Engineer too.. that's something
@@markm_koko
Lol😄
@@DarkPhoenixSaga they didn’t do their research right .
You just outwatched the mojo
A very strong but unconfirmed* identification has been made by researchers in 2022, it is supported against census data*. He was identified as Charles Webb an engineer from Melbourne. His clothes were borrowed from a brother in law Thomas Keane. He was confirmed to be a loner and depressive, and took an interest in poetry and writing.
There are many articles discussing this recently, I encourage you to research current developments rather than just AI generating a list of stuff from a catalogue lol
also an avalanche explains all of the circumstances of the dyatlov pass incident. i wonder how many times people are going to have to point out it's solved before watchmojo takes these cases off their repeat-ad-nauseum mystery lists.
@Brian Boyer sure it has not yet been confirmed by South Australian police officially. However if you look at the evidence presented with DNA matching Charles Webb's relatives, photo albums of the man matching the appearance, a direct link to the name inscribed on the clothing he was found dead in, to confirmation of a declaration of divorce in the age newspaper declaring he was being divorced on grounds of desertion.
Sure I am the idiot for pointing out these findings and that objectively there is a very strong "explanation" for the mysterious event and that watch mojo might need to do research before copying and pasting the same video to it's audience.
@Brian Boyer I have amended the comment to remove confirmed. I'll be sure to make it "confirmed" when south Australian police get around to ruling the findings out or in when they get round to it in the next decade...
No...
The majority of this list has been solved or had highly agreed hypothesises that perfectly explain them.
What about the wow signal?
That’s what I was saying
They already solved the somerton man.
@andy torres The wow signal ended up being one of my farts that for some reason. NASA picked up on it. 🤷♂️
Yeah. The second entry - the Somerton Man - has been solved. He was definitively identified last year. He has living relatives and photos of him in life were brought forward.
The Somerton man was literally identified last year, his name is believed to be Carl Webb- a 42-43 year old electrical engineer who went missing in 1948- researchers believe he took his own life on the beach before his body was found- an official cause of death hasn’t been found yet-
WatchMojo doesn't seem to do much research, or stay within the boundaries of the subjects they pursue. They just want the clicks through sensationalism.
@@pinchekittybiker In another video, WatchMoJo talk about solved mysteries and they said it was solved. Which video is right? lol
Consider this: while the man was identified, no definitive or satisfying explanation has been given as to what happened.
@@denial1978 A quick google search shows this is unconfirmed.
People randomly ate falling meat from the sky that turned out to be regurgitated lung tissue from vultures? Naw... I'm done for the day.

For Ramirez’s body dimethyl sulfate turns into dimethyl gas more commonly known as mustard gas.
Gloria Ramirez's death is explained in Wendigoon's video that he did on her a few months back and it's not as weird or supernatural as you think
Mrballen also has a really good video on it
OH?! I need to find it.
thumbs up, but's still crazy though!
Yes, Mr.ballen also did a video on this.
What was the explanation?
Anyone else memorize this when they were a kid 😂
“This program is about unsolved mysteries. Whenever possible the actual family members and police officials have participated in recreating the events. What you are about to see is not a news broadcast “😎
Sweden had a similar incident to Dyatlov in 1978. There however was one survivor out of a total of nine. It was caused by a rapid drop in temperature due to a downburst. This caught the hikers off guard and they quickly froze to death. The one survivor suffered severe frostbite injuries.
The guys behind the Max Headroom incident probably still laugh there asses off every time that one comes up.
You know they do!😄
What makes the "Wow" signal compelling is that humans have sent out our own "Wow" signal before. In 1974 we blasted out an extremely powerful but brief signal from Arecibo and never repeated it, so if aliens did detect that signal, it would be their version of a "Wow" signal.
So would that possibly be them replying?
@@emzybenzey I never considered that. An interesting possibility.
@@emzybenzey it’s kinda hard since the signal we got from them could be a thousand years old.
Please note, when we take a picture of a star, there’s a high chance that the star changed or died.
@@WillisVision your mind has been blowned

The Somerton Man mystery has been recently explained
Person from Windsor here. I've heard and recorded the hum in the past and can say that I haven't heard it since the blast furnaces of Zug Island were shut down.
Loved this!! Thank you 😊
How long ago was this video made before it was posted? Because I thought they solved the Somerton man case.
They did. His name was Carl Webb. It’s just not legally confirmed though.
It does seem like this was made years ago and simply re-posted without considering if any of these had been solved yet.
They are pretty sure they have actually found amelias bones on an island and its believed she was eaten by the coconut crabs on it
Horrible way to go
Was she identified by DNA test?
@@atsukorichards1675 Her remains were lost before DNA profiling was a thing. Even with that though, it's well known she died on Nikumaroro Island.
Somerton man's identity has been solved, but not why he was there or what exactly his story was. But he was identified.
To me one of the biggest mysteries is the case of the Black Dahlia Murder (Elizabeth Short). The details are honestly insane.
Well she was murdered by a serial killer.
@@yodaddy9362 no not a serial killer. Serial killers all have multiple victims with a consistent way of doing the killing or selecting the type of victims. Elizabeth Short has been the only victim to be cut up the way she was.

I’m surprised there were no honorable mentions for say: The Tylenol Poisoning Deaths, the escape from Alcatraz by those inmates who made a dinghy out of raincoats, and the Zodiac Killer, to name a few.
Your comment is perfect, right there... Everything you said is correct...
they could easily make like 4 or 5 more top ten videos with so many cases, the ufo in medieval paintings, the plane that was lost in an island and started to send messages across the world to many people to their phones, the satanic hollywood circle that to this day hasn't been solved entirely, and so on
Weren't the tylenol deaths a pharmacist and that's when the seals and special lids were added?
@@smbrameryes, the tylenol poisonings are what caused the creation of tamper-proof seals but who done it and why are still unknown.
Amelia’s personal items were found on the island mentioned. She was eaten by the massive coconut crabs on the island.
D.B. Cooper is the undisputed king of hide and seek
They solved who the Somerton man was.
I don't think DB Cooper or the Max Headroom incident will ever be solved at this point unless someone comes forward or they find a body in DB's case.
Another mystery is how is Rebecca still fine as hell all these years
This video is old-saw it a few years ago..Somerton Man was solved last year as Carl Webb
The feet have been explained easily. People jump off the lions gate Bridge there (quite tall) and their feet are either ripped off when they impact or they are preserved because of the shoes
just read that in an article...although it states that it is because the feet eventually just fall off after ocean life has had their fill
If you want to extend your list with celestial phenomena, there has been interesting UFO sightings in the 16th century Europe, known as the 1561 celestial phenomenon over Nuremberg (Germany) and the 1566 celestial phenomenon over Basel (Switzerland), both have woodcuts with artist's renditions that can be found on Wikipedia
Long ago I watched a documentary on Earhart. They interviewed other women pilots that had known and flown with her.
They said she really wasn't that good of a pilot and were not surprised she had disappeared over the Pacific.
Surprised the Yuma County 5 wasn't in there
Figured you'd have the "Angel Hair Rain" events on here
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! There is also an artistic rendition of how the Diva Mummy might have looked before she died. I wonder what was used to preserve her body so well for nearly 2,000 years.. 🥶
DB Cooper was just Loki messing around 🤣
He lost a bet with Thor.
Db cooper is so interesting. Would love to know the person who did it
DB Cooper did it....

Kenny Christensen. This is known.
I live in Windsor, Ont and although I never heard the Hum, it's true the noise ended when the blast furnace on the nearby Zug Island in the Detroit River, closer to the west end of the city where it was primarily heard
I like how with the lighthouse mystery they tell you exactly what happened to the guys directly after calling it a mystery. Lol
That is a theory, not a definitive solution. There was a person on the mainland that was paid to watch for the light and was lousy at doing their job, as the light had been out for an extended period before anyone went to the island to check things out. The only boats going there were to swap out keepers, so it was very isolated. One of the keepers didn't even take a coat despite rough weather. Though the story about a huge wave taking them all is likely, there isn't any proof that's what happened.
great an other mix of past videos
True. This channel is dying, if not already dead.
The shoe one was resolved. It's suicidal people and the fish ate the body but couldn't get to the feet.
Love how they tried to cure dancing with music lol
#17 has an ASMR voice hope someone finds more of his interviews man please post them or leave information in the comment section, much appreciated it. 👍
#10 sounds like an episode of Bones. A flood washed up feet of bodies in a "body farm" (a college sponsored facility to train forensic archeologists and anthropology students).
The sommerton man was solved recently and confirmed.
I'm surprised the 1945 Flight 19 was not on this list.
3 of the 20 events listed took place in western Washington State. That's another mystery.
Love the content ❤️
What a mistaka to maka.
This List was really Creepy, I Can' T Imagine all this Creepy Stories, I Known only the Story of Amelia Earhart thank to Movie One Night at Museum 2 with Ben Stiller. Thanks, now I' m less ignorant.
They indentified the sommerton man
The dancing plague was actually caused by the consumption of ergot found in their grain. Everybody was trippin' on shrooms.
and they all gathered together to dance? having the exact same effect??? i call that bullshit, even if you're in shrooms, you don't do stuff till you die, like dancing, once you're exhaust enough, the effects probably worn out already
Ergot would be acid/LSD, not shrooms.
people who hate or suck at dancing spread the rumor so people won't dance anymore
That's just a theory.
DB Cooper is of course fairly famous here in Oregon. I really don't know if this will ever be solved. I wish the main flight attendant that was directly interacting with Cooper during the hijacking had been more open to interviews over the decades. Aside from those packs of money that kid found many years ago, we have very little ANYTHING to go on!
He's obviously dead, it's well below freezing when he jumped and was wearing street clothes and dress shoes. Guy did not plan it well.
@@scottslotterbeck3796 there's a guy who believes he's figured out who D B Cooper was. His evidence and theory are incredibly compelling and plausible. The person he believes it was, looks a lot like the composite sketches. If he's right, Cooper managed to survive, and lived until 2022.
@@charumathipeach2901 Who's the guy?
@@thomassutton679 his name is Eric Ulis. There's also a skydiver who thinks he has evidence that DB Cooper survived. I can't remember what that guy's name is though, off the top of my head.
It's highly likely that Ted Braden was DB Cooper. He had the skills to be able to survive the jump. He is said to look a lot like Cooper, with the exception of eye color, but colored eye contacts have existed since the 1930's, so it's plausible he used those to change the color.
Sommerton man’s identity was found last year
I don't want to be mean, but how exactly do you determine that 4 years old "know their way around"? I just think we should be a bit more careful before declaring "proof of reincarnation".......especially when it's coming from grieving parents.......and honestly, I could never blame them for sincerely believing that.
No reason to be careful declaring "proof of reincarnation." It's just not something that is possible. Nothing to be careful about.
They found remains that have been shown to be most likely those of Amelia Earhart. I don't remember the island.
Nikumaroro Island
I normally listen to these list as background sound while working, I stopped and had to check when I heard Robert Stack @16:55 :)
If I walked out my house, in the medieval ages or modern, and saw all those people randomly dancing, I’d definitely panic
You can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind, cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well they're not friends of mine.
Yeah pretty crazy..
And then meat and gelatinous blobs start raining down ...

EDIT: dmn, I didn't know that it had its own entry.
I've experienced something similar to the Havana Syndrome. In my case, I have a pretty good idea what it was, but not what caused it. That's why I'm posting this: I was walking in the city park and felt weird. First, I couldn't figure out why, but the longer I walked the more obvious it got. It started with the sensation of diving, and feeling pressure on my skin and most notably my ears. It was as if I kept diving. I then started to hear a deep rumbling, but I could not locate the source, despite it sounding like a construction truck unloading a container full of rocks. Actually, it didn't seem to have any end to it. Anyway, it freaked me out and I didn't want to go any further as I feared for my ears. What really baffled me though was that apparently no one else around me noticed it! However, unlike usually, I didn't spot ANY animal, be it birds or squirrel, who usually roam the park. Thus, all findings combined I assume that it was a sound, which was mostly outside our hearing range, but partially audible to me and even more so to animals, who by their nature got better ears and are more sensitive to a wide spectrum. However, what could it have been? It must have been very loud and yet, I saw nothing out of place.
PS: this was in Basel, Switzerland
You can hear electricity if you are near a transformer. Why are you near transformers in the first place?
#1, strangely people suffering from hypothermia will suddenly feel hot, so hot they start to remove their coats and other clothing. The body and brain are usually close to death at this point, so this is one last gasp of confusion from the victim.
A great number of people who have died from exposure to extreme cold were only found because they left a trail of clothing behind.

Elisa lam was in a manic state after stopping her mood stabilizer med, both the act of doing so without weaning and the imbalance caused by the antidepressant, is known to make symptoms worse, such as hallucinations. She was even removed from the hostel portion for “odd behaviour” into her own room. The only reasonable conclusion as to why no one has ever mentioned this from her family aside from her sister one time, is that mental illness is a taboo subject in Asian cultures. It’s a sign of weakness and shame upon the entire family. She had dropped all but two classes at UBC as well and still struggled with those. Her journal writings were erratic and disorganized. Don’t let the fact that someone can be bipolar AND intelligent slip your mind. You don’t lose your intelligence when manic! You use it to hide it from others because you know it’s not normal and you don’t want to take the medication. ❤
Someone needs to make a movie or a limited series about the Kentucky Meat Shower or one about the DB Cooper Incident.
I believe the Somerton Man was solved a while ago, at least by 2022 (but this video was posted in April 2023). They know who it is. His name was Charles Webb and his brother-in-law lived in America for a while and he gave his old clothes to Webb...that's why the labels were all removed. For some reason, when giving the clothes away the brother-in-law removed the labels. So this video was made and posted with very little research done. The mystery was solved long before the video was posted.
