Number 6 actually makes sense. One of the symptoms of hypothermia is paradoxically feeling really hot, so the idea that a bunch of people would take off their clothes and get naked in the middle of a snowstorm makes sense.
- Amelia Earhart was eaten by coconut crabs
- Neanderthal gene is still found in white people...
- Every element of the "great leap forward" you mentioned can be explained... This is so ridiculous
- Bronze age collapse is can be explained after the death of Alexander the Greek...
WatchMojo is full of 💩
The Dyatlov Pass incident has been solved ask a mortician did a video about it it’s called wait frozen solved the Dyatlov pass mystery
I think there's a lot of confusion of "CAN'T be" and "hasn't been" - there's nothing mysterious, for example, about the disappearance of Amelia Earhart
The disappearance of Flight MH370 is just unbelievable in an age where everything is monitored.
It’s not such a mystery. I’m 99% sure the pilot crashed it on purpose. There’s even wreckage that’s been found washed ashore.
We also have to remember that even in this age, not every part of the ocean has been mapped or well known. The area of the ocean that they flew over is condiered to be one of the most dangerous ocean spots in the world, with strong winds, high waves and treacherous seas, if i recall its the largest part of ocean furthest away from any land mass and little has been explored due to the weather patterns. THE PLANE did crash, the debris all but confirmed it over the past years, whats mysterious is how it crashed and if the black boxes that recorded the cockpit data can be retrieved. so we know just exactly what happened. it would also help if china, india and the us released its secret radar data that to this day they refuse, for it would reveal their modern rada tracking technology they use to spy on each other.
@@Krobra91 "if i recall its the largest part of ocean furthest away from any land mass " -- that'd be in the South Pacific-- basically where Lovecraft and other authors put R'lyeh (where Cthulhu sleeps), halfway between New Zealand and Chile.
Netflix
It was a homicide-suicide situation cause the pilot wanted to die and forced everyone on board to go with him
Number 6 actually makes sense. One of the symptoms of hypothermia is paradoxically feeling really hot, so the idea that a bunch of people would take off their clothes and get naked in the middle of a snowstorm makes sense.
True. On of the last things to happen when you freeze to death is you take all your clothes off. Because like you said your body to thinks you're burning up.
Pedantic attention junkies
And it's quite odd that some were missing their eyes and tongues...
Turns out dyatlov had rigged his tent with a furnace. The furnace exploded after carbon dioxide levels made the hikers pass out. The explosion woke them up and sent them all running out of the tent to avoid burning to death. The lack of clothing on most and burn injuries are good indicators of the veracity of this theory. Hope this helps someone!
4:53: The Dyatlov Pass incident was actually solved a few years back by some researchers. Alexander Puzrin and Johan Gaume used, in part, the code from Disney's _Frozen_ to create a simulation of what may have happened that night. The code in question was the code used to create the simulated snowfall, which the researchers found to be unsually and even surpisingly realistic.
Using the code and their research, they were able to conclude that, while there was no snowfall that night, there didn't need to be. The hikers had cut a slope- basically, cut a hole in the side of a snowdrift to make shelter. The cutting appears to have destabilzed the snow, and a katabatic wind- a drainage wind which sweeps downhill due to air colder than the ground- set the snow in motion. This would account for why several hikers had shattered bones, skull injuries, etc, as well as why they were scattered so widely. The survivors of the intial avalanche are believed to have attempted to run for help, but there was no chance of survival.
I came here for this comment, was not disappointed.
And animals ate the rest of the body
Which is it, incident solved, may have happened or believed to? All used in your explanation above to “prove” once again, nothing has been solved and we are still left with theories.
How about the girl who’s tongue had been surgically removed?
@@maryanderson2759 that... didn't happen. There's no evidence or reports that it did. Like with the eyes and fingers, it would've been scavangers.
I’m always so interested in mysteries/topics like these because of the unknown. I’ve heard of some of these and till this day, I still find them interesting and I still want to know more about it. RIP to those who lost they’re lives.
Clan of the Cave Bear is such a good book, and the movie is really good as well.
If you want to get a fairly well educated guess at what life was like for our ancestors, I definitely recommend it.
it is several books, From her childhood until she dies as an old woman.
@@runulfrraui6602 I never did get around to reading the other books. While I really enjoyed Clan of the Cave Bear, that genre just wasn't in my wheel of interests lol. 🤷♀️
@@runulfrraui6602 well, clan of the cave bear is one book, the s there Valley of the horses, the Mammoth Hunters, Plains of passage, etc.
@@LadyAdDikt The first book was a well written take on prehistoric man.
The rest of the series became prehistoric smut
@@maesdejardin8648 I prolly didn't miss out on too much, then 🤣
Fun fact! The dytalov pass was somewhat solved, and was concluded to be a avalanche, using part of the technology from disneys frozen! :D
So many of these unsolved mysteries took place on sea just proves how little we know about the ocean and what it contains.
Yu could do top ten for native American mysteries. The mentone and anastazi for example.
Pretty sure they just ate each other

First one from Portugal seems like a mass ufo sighting. “Dehydration from staring at the sun” does not explain anything.
dehydration OR staring at the sun. i mean staring at the sun literally irradiates your eyeballs and makes you go blind, is it any wonder it could cause hallucinations too?

USS Cyclops....
You forgot to mention that one of the ships that went out to search for her is missing is well!!!!
I thought they had found both Earhart and the navigators bones on an island in the pacific a couple years ago?
I was going to comment the same.
They did
It was more than a couple. It was in the 2010s.
They found the bones a long time ago and the idiot doctor threw them out saying it couldn't be the bones of Earhart. But today's scientists took his measurements and proved they were her bones.
No. There are just solid theories as to what happened.
Thank you for changing the title!!
I’m fascinated by these mysteries.
So happy you included that scooby doi clips as thats how I learned of the cyclops
Mary Celeste has been rationally explained. They abandoned ship thinking it would explode due to its flammable cargo. The small boat they were in lost it’s rope that tied it to the ship.

Perfect movie clip to show during #5!! Kingsmen is an excellent series!!
Rest In Peace to those that passed away.
It's most likely that the roanoke colony was directly hit by an Category 5 Hurricane, it would've wiped them clearly off the map, like gone...
Scooby-Doo has indeed the most historically accurate movies, lol. Pirates Ahoy actually got me hooked on the Bermuda Triangle as well as scared the living shiz out of me as a kid (I have a big fear of the ocean and zombies, so yeah).
They just figured out Dyatlav Pass. It was a freak avalanche.
Really? Last I heard that was just a theory, and there was no evidence there had been an avalanche.
Right! They got Frozen animators to prove it!
@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ci it was a weird kind of avalanche that doesn’t happen very often and leaves no trace. It has a name but I can’t remember what that kind of avalanche is called. They figured it out like a year ago. There’s a little doc about it.
@Kathy Prendergast then why did one have her tung ripped out of there throat the others faces were said to be of serious fright. And the natives around that pass said there were creatures that would take children and women from time to time and the one surviver who got sick and turned back said there were things following them that is another reason he turned back and didnt continue with the group so who knows but for a avalanch theory why cut with in the tent to get out unless some thing is scary and they ran out with out boots with out gear ?
The case of the disappearing mountain climbers was solved in an episode of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. It was a Stand.
I don't believe in Miracles...But I believe Mysteries can always be solved given enough time and information.
Earthquake that hits turkiye and syria a month ago with death toll reach more than 50k people..but there is survivor a kid 6yo who trapped for 5days and survive after the rescue..
would you think it is a miracle?? If not what it is??
Exactly
Do a top 10 creepiest tv theme from all tv shows!!
About Dyatlov pass, my sister in law (she's russian) explained it to me, it was an avalanche and they became "mountain sick" or something like that, in other words they kinda became crazy and that's why they cut open their tent and some of the bodies have light clothes on, some others just died frozen.
it didn't even have to involve "mountain sickness." there was an avalanche, they had to cut themselves out of their tents to avoid being buried alive, which also meant fleeing without their clothes on, and all the damage to the bodies is explained by wildlife scavenging. actually a pretty simple explanation.

@@colorbugoriginals4457 👏👏
No such thing as a miracle.. just highly unlikely outcomes coming to pass… “anything that can happen will happen”.
@@BlackishSayian you’re so deep.
Interesting info helpful too
None of these seem particularly mysterious, once you know a bit more about the back story. I think a more mysterious item is Gobekli Tepe in southern Turkey. It really breaks a lot of what archeologists thought they knew about early human civilization, and the vast scale as well as what is still to be uncovered (I believe less than 10% of the site has been excavated at this point, though I might be misremembering) is the definition of mysterious. One wonders what else might be out there or, more probably, lost to the sea with the huge sea level rise around that same period.
They literally found Amelia’s bones and some of her stuff on an island. Probably eaten by crabs it’s not a mystery
We know what happened to Amelia - she's alive and well in the Delta Quadrant. :).
You need to look into that further lol it’s not proof. They found a canister of like the same hair gel or tobacco or something and a couple bones never proven to be either one of them. Don’t watch one video and act like you know what happened
This is a miracle
The dancing cowboy has moves.😅😅
Help theorize a bit.
I have a very strong dislike about the concept of dancing, not only I find it nonsensical but obviously I don't know how to, I couldn't dance even at gun point. So, if I get caught on a "dancing plague" pandemic, will I just stay still ? Walk around ? Or just instantly learn how ? Maybe some other option.
When freezing to death at a certain point you you begin to feel extremely hot which explains why the campers was found outside not dressed properly
Jfc dyatlov pass isn’t a mystery anymore, come on guys! Where is your due diligence?!
#10 can be explained multiple ways. There are dozens of phenomenon that would explain that "miracle".
You know, they say if you're exposed to Saint Elmos Fire, then not only may you dance yourself to death, but you may also hallucinate yourself flirting with a young Rob Lowe
What happened to the guys that escaped Alcatraz
My theory is that their little watercraft didn't hold together, leaving them to attempt swimming to shore. The water in the bay can get _frigid_ and their sounds & smells as they splashed their way towards what they were guessing was shore would attract sharks, namely great whites (which lurk around the Golden Gate - there's a spot that's referred to as the "Red Triangle" 😰).
Quite a few of these are solved or at least sold to a pretty. Well excepted degree. Roanoke, The settlers absorbed in to the Croton people, especially since there is plates and bowls I believe found off of the shore that were of European origin mixed in with the native plates , The Malaysian flight was put down intentionally into the ocean as soft as possible as to not leave a debris field which is really creepy all those people sunk to their death while still alive. And the pilot did a double take over the city he was born in flew directly over and leaned the plane to give it one last goodbye I guess. And the pass was an Avelancte , which I figured the first time I heard the story
Extinction is a miracle? Maybe not for whatever species has been hashtagged. I don't see disappearances or plagues as very miraculous either.
NEE-Ander Tolls"? Now that's a mystery.
about the lost colony of Roanoke , i’m putting my money on either being wiped out by a zombie attack or abducted by aliens , crazy how they didn’t mention these theories
or maybe they were murdered by unicorns, why didn't they mention that theory either 🙄
or that they noclipped into the backrooms
I doubt zombies would break down houses completely.

You should do a video about the Flying Dutchman, it's a ship of the Dutch VOC it sank during the 18th century. Some people claimed that they saw the ghostship to this day!!
That’s really just a sailor myth, nothing to solve there.
Airheart got eaten by coconut crabs while stranded on an island.

The extinction of Neanderthal... was my favorite topic in Anthropology when I was in college... best guess opinion there genes just died in rime because of their body type... its hard to scrounge for food even you have the same caloric count.. as a linebacker.
The 1917 one, couldn't it just be a solar flare or solar magnetic storm?

Pretty much everyone had different accounts, and it was the only place on earth with reported sun movements. More than likely a case of mass hysteria
You should have added the extinction of the dinosaurs
And the Holocene extinction aswell
Wasn't the number 2proven to be correct? Didn't they actually move away from Roanoke. Im sure they left words on rocks along the way and they found out what happened? Am I wrong

If you've came to some places in Argentina, you wouldn't think neanderthals have gone extinct.
The disappearance of Amelia Earhart can soon be solved since scientist have discovered something that looks like Earharts airplane in the pacific ocean.
It's not St. Elmo's fire It's St. Anthony's fire, a symptom of ergot poisoning which came from consuming contaminated rye. I doubt that this was the cause of the "dancing plague" but we don't know. For all we know the accounts themselves are exaggerated, and the chances of that many people being severely poisoned to such a point aren't very likely. However, in that time period, people were so readily aroused to mass hysteria and superstition that, if it happened at all, the psychiatric hypothesis is far more likely.
Can you explain the Sorel Quebec creature?

7:00 that jump overboard of all the crew reminds me uncannily of Jonah and the Whale from Scripture. Same thing happens when they believe they are cursed by God and they are actually right and Jonah the only righteous man on board takes the fall as the scapegoat and ironically the story ends worse than it began making me wonder if he will even be in heaven as a faithful under Jesus and first Abrahman under the covenant of more numerous than the stars are your spiritual descendants through belief. Jonah did not want to save the people of Nineveh even though he has the only thing that can. . .faith in the Messiah the Lord of Israel God the Father his eternal son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. He ends up cursing God under a tree that ends up shriveled so there is no shade and Jonah complains over and over and seemingly dies a miserable grumpy old man. . .not exactly like Abraham, so i think he will be in hell instead of heaven but would be glad to be wrong because it shows just how merciful and forgiving the Lord can be as long as you have faith and faith alone in Christ

Amelia E was eaten by coconut crabs or sumn after crashing on an island
What most likely happened is she either drowned, and her body washed ashore on an island where it was consumed by coconut crabs, or she made it to an island and died from injury, lack of nourishment or the elements, and again her body was consumed by the coconut crabs and other scavengers. Either way, youre right, she likely got eaten by crabs lol
