    So basically, my truck driving career is completely OVER because of 2 minor accidents( three of them had no fatalities, police weren't called, the truck wasn't totalled, no property damage, truck was drivable)I was FIRED for both(the company also counted a 3rd, but that wasn't an accident at all)That's just freaking awesome, gotta love America!!!!!

      I’m in the same boat as you. I have 1 month of experience with 2 minor preventable accidents on my records

      Unfortunately if it has anything to do with your former employer reporting; yes. I’ve been noticing a lot of companies are doing this. DOT reporting is only when it’s a fatality, injury of other person(s). People think it’s the reporting agency, but it’s the Trucking Company listing it when your new employee is asking for time of employment, if quit, fired, or laid off.so when companies see that, it could have been lightly tapping a curve, but it’s being perceived as some bad like a fatality, and that’s the part that’s sucks because their not listing that it was something minor. Sometimes company don’t even report it so it want make their score go down. So if they can keep you out of a job, we’ll you better make sure they reported it to the FMSCA

      @@millermiller9258 I'm glad you asked because it just so happens that I applied to a company today. Unfortunately I'm S.O.L!!! The recruiter that I spoken with basically said that my career in trucking is over because I was fired with barely four months of experience. So I then asked her, *how in the hell can I get experience when trucking companies are rejecting me left and right for my three accidents* ( it's really two because one of "accidents" was the trailer door collapsing in on itself, meaning the door was inside the doorway of the trailer. The only damage was to the hinges on the door, no damage to the door itself at all. I thought I hung and secured the trailer door, to the door hanger but it somehow wasn't secured and got loose). Her answer was to apply to a "mom & pops" small trucking company, hopefully they will give you a chance. Then she said to "just stay accident free for six months to clean up my record". I'm in a messed up situation because I still owe the trucking school money for graduating.

    i grazed a tire and it also damaged the rim. i continued driving to the truck stop so obviously it wasn’t that serious. KLLM marked that as an accident

    I was the victim of a road rage incident and a lady passed me pulled into my lane and no other cars were near neither of us, locked her brakes up and I bumped into her causing only a scratch on her bumper....I had a camera in my truck that clearly shows this, my trucking company's insurance at the time, ruled it to be intentionally caused by the other driver and they denied her claim in which she was lying and stated to the cops that there were major injuries.
    There were none.....I now can no longer find a job as a driver because the reports show there was an accident and possible major injuries. I can't prove any of this because I don't have the money for an attorney to obtain her hospital records to prove she's a liar. I am 53 now, I have no other skills and I have been out of a job since 10/2022 and all my bills are piling up and I have become severely depressed and feel hopeless and suicidal. I am losing everything because of a lying dirtbag!

    How long does it stay on your DAC report

    • @shawnnorris3410
      @shawnnorris3410 Рік тому +2

      It can stay on A Dac report indefinitely they Are legally suppose to Remove it after a 10yr period but You will probably have to have it removed by you contacting them in writing something that you can
      Physical show that You Tried to Have removed
      Also He is Right to this point They are not DAC
      They Are now listed as Hire right group that keeps information on all Driver's mostly On truck Driver's but also Petty much anyone Driving anything anywhere truck companies would have DAC on Their payroll as A go to About any Truk driver so
      Dac Would Dig into Any trucker on criminal credit history as much as possible to find And hand it over to The truck companies for payment for information basically on anything that they can find out about You
      You usually sign the release form in orientation that's Why it takes A few days to get your truck there Making sure you're telling them everything because if You have your Hire Right Dac report you are willing to Tell Them Every thing then they cannot say anything about your integrity or say that Your an outlier
      You Follow me
      P:S
      most of the Big Truck companies are slimy as a snake 🐍
      Sneaky as A Cat
      Miss Highway Honey 🍯 😝

    Do all the driver report companies have the same information? Do I have to check all of them or will HireRight alone be good enough?

    • @millermiller9258
      @millermiller9258 7 місяців тому

      As a former recruiter, I don’t think it’s the report, it’s more when the company your trying to work for list in the request, things like how long employment, any accidents; etc. So it’s the company that’s reporting it, not the reporting agency their using.

    What does I driver do when they’re involved in a road rage insurance scam and I have dashcam video proving I never hit the vehicle hard enough to claim severe injuries and that their car wasn’t damaged to the point where it needed to be towed…I lost all ability to make a living because of this scam!!
