I remember I was in my biology class we all came out!! Early morning North Miami!
😏 Yes.I remember that morning/day. I was in Jr.High when they announced it over the intercom & (mostly) everyone ran outside to see. 😂 I walked because coming from NYC in Sept. of '73. I've experienced snow as a little kid. ❄☃️❄☃️❄☃️❄☃️
I remember this, I was 16 and in Jr. High School at Kinloch Park. I walked to school that that day like any other day. I think I had a sweater on because being born in Brooklyn NY I was used to the colder weather. I was at the school playground and remember seeing snow on the field and the roofs of the houses surrounding the school area. Wow, this took way back in time, lol. I was born in 1961.
This can't be right. I remember it's snowing when I went to Disney world in the early '80s.
True. I was there.
It does snow often, or at least snow flurries in northern Florida often. It gets very cold in that area. So your 1980 experience is probably very true.
Orlando is in central Florida well north of Miami, so it gets snow more frequently relative to Miami.
My children so young in 1977, our backyard in Palm Beach Gardens was surrounded by CROTON HEDGE,
children were fascinated with the Snow 😍❣ Snow did not damage plants, but when SUN came out all the Croton SHRIVELED DOWN to ground!!! 😳
Wow!!!
