Amazing review, very informative. Would you say the heart rate accuracy and sleep accuracy is spot on? You did cover sleep but you mentioned it recorded you waking up for one minute etc. Thinking about buying the cheetah pro but like you, seems like the gtr 4 sensor looks better
I compared it to other smartwatches and HR, steps, GPS all seem accurate. The sleep tracking seemed to correlate with the Samsung watch 5. Hard to tell if it was 100% accurate but it should certainly give you patterns. The Cheetah is being marketed as a watch for runners because of the improved GPS, light weight and AI running coach but I think the GTR 4 is probably a better buy, especially when it goes on sale. I did contact Amazfit and they said that the Cheetah had an improved sensor, eventhough it looks like it was a step back. If you like the pro and you are OK with the price, I think you will be happy with it.
The Balance does have a couple of extra features over the Pro and just got software update so now has offline maps. But the Cheetah Pro has a gorilla glass screen, which is more durable. but in US, $229 for Balance and $299 for Cheetah Pro. Probably would get Balance with screen protector.
Thank you! Yes, you can replace the strap with any standard 22mm band. Stay tuned, I plan on another 1 to 2 videos on the best tips and features of the Cheetah and more Amazfit GTR 4 videos are coming if you are debating between the two.
@@techgadgets100 thank you. That's great to hear. I'm definitely considering buying one of those two watches. I guess I'll have to subscribe to your channel, haha
can you adjust the brigthness of the always on display? (manually and auto?) is the auto-brightness reliable and responsive during the environmental light changing?
As far as I know the brightness can not be adjusted on the always on display. And it does not use the light sensor, so it does not make any brightness adjustments in different environments.
I previously tried to get a screen protector, but I could not find anything made specifically for this watch. They had screen size but there is a slight curve to the screen that a flat protector won't cover well. A soft screen cover would work better but not give as much protection. That part was frustrating...
Very similar features, but t tex 2 more durable if you need that. Screen is still tempered glass though. I think biggest difference is the look. I don't really love look of either, but I really don't like big "Amazfit"logo on side of t rex 2. Also t rex 2 has non standard band. So between the two, I would go for the Cheetah. If you already reviewed all the other options, then read no further. If you want to muddy the waters more, then also consider Cheetah Pro, better looking and more durable but more expensive. GTR 4 similar features, older and might have better deals. I would also consider Amazfit Balance, the latest version of the GTR series. Has some new features but still retails at $225 in the US. I am reviewing the balance now. Between all of these, I would choose the Balance. I hope this info was helpful.
Thanks for the video, one question so both the cheetah and gtr4 have the same tempered glass that is better used with a screen protector? Thanks in advance

Hey, thanks for the video. Between the Balance and the Cheetah Pro, which one would you recommend?

Any recommendations for tempered glass protectors? Will it affect usage in the water?

Exactly right. To get gorilla glass you have to upgrade to the cheetah PRO.
Does it do blood pressure? I know it is not as accurate as real blood pressure monitors.
There is no blood pressure feature, sorry.
Amazfit cheetah vs Gtr 4.. Which one recommended??
I think the GTR 4 has a more classic style and I prefer that look.
Does it have vo2max?
Yes, but like other Amazfit products, "Real-time performance scores and VO2 Max are only supported within Outdoor Running and Track Run modes."
can you play music while on workout mode ?
Yes, and you can control it through watch. Thanks for watching!
Does it have altimeter?
Yes a barometric altimeter. It can track elevation changes.
