The Asus Zenbook S16 OLED full unboxing and review is coming but I wanted to give you a preview of one of the most promising day to day laptops coming this year. It is thin, light (3.3 lbs), has a 16" 120HZ OLED Display, 78 Whr battery, tons of ports and that Ryzen AI power for all the new AI pc features coming up in Windows 11. Can you fit a 4tb SSD in it if you swap out the SSD that comes with it or is it too thin?
Specs wise, it seems nice. Keyboard shift is a no no. Support wise, this is dead in the water.
If possible, please elaborate regarding fan noise. Honestly, all I want in this world is a non-Apple laptop with reasonable (~10 hours in efficiency modes) battery life and silent running for casual computing. If I don't need to deal with ARM incompatibilities or wait for Lunar Lake to have that, I'll be all over this!

Hey man, it would be great if you make a detailed benchmarks + gaming as well of Radeon 890m and also compare it to ryzen 9 7840hs or ryzen 9 8945hs 's radeon 780m igpu.

love the look, love the processor. But damn I just wish it was a 14" 2 in 1. It would be perfect for a bite heavier graphic and design tasks.

Yeah the laptop is really thin and compact so you should be fine if you like 15” this should be fine.

I have the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED with the meteor lake and it's awesome. I'm still within my return period however and wondering if I should switch out for this. Will this smoke the one I currently have? Really love the 14 size as well.
If you like what you have not sure you really need to swap especially if you like the size and form factor.
Maybe what I need to replace my aging Surface Pro, I never use it in tablet mode anyway

No. Different processor types. No issues here besides updates on drivers for the NPU etc.
That is a great touch to have the Asus logo there.

what I don't like is that they are only making fully reflective OLED displays... would love to see some mat finished screens like what LG are doing with their 27" and 32" monitors

Beautiful and impressive hardware but anything ASUS is a no go until they give WRITTEN CONFIRMATION that they will completely overhaul their RMA and warranty processes

I am hoping they work through it. They are well aware so it’s up to them.
The life of these laptops are 2-3 years max. I had an ASUS laptop and I am telling you from my experience plus there are many long terms reviews on UA-cam as well.

3K is solid for me. Is it an issue for you?
Where’s the sacrifice exactly? are you implying that because it’s not 4K? I would not want 4K at this screen size, that’s asking for more battery drain and hit on performance when running games
