@@drjohnpauls Okay, so DeEsser doesn't do what I thought - but it's okay. Am I correct in that I can't ADD a word? I wish the AI was there to piece together my voice with a changed word - such as "indicator" instead of "outcome". I'm revising an educational program & you know how the lingo updates... Thank you for offering the reach out! Very cool of you.
@@sonjariddle6079 I don’t think there is a replacer- yet. I would bet my money it will be here in the next few years with AI…only a matter of time. Adding a word in audited will have the word represented in Closed Captions, though. You can also do some trimming in Camtasia and just re-record the areas affected by the change.

I have subscribed to Audiate and Camtasia. I have a Camtasia icon which brings up the Camtasi program but although I received a download from Audiate, I cannot find the Audilate p on my PC. Can you help?
In camtasia, if you select a clip with audio in the timeline, you should see an “edit” with audiate in the right hand side of the interface.
10:31 Are those major freezes (that would make the editing experience horrible) there in the actual program, or, are these screenrecording artifacts?
Honestly been a while since I recorded that so couldn’t tell you what was up. I will say, I typically don’t notice any major lag issues on the daily, but there are some buggy quirks at times. For what I create, it does the job.
