Hey, Idk if it's too late already or what your exact plans are, but I wouldn't paint this one. It looks so good and it shows your skill beautifully. I think it's a bigger piece of art unpainted. It seems to be the perfect poster child for your channel. You can appreciate the creativity and skill much more if you put it on full display than if you hide it under paint. And it is already asthetic as hell. The way you lined the red stripe up with the brows, the american color combination is iconic, reminding of the iron partiot suit, and it's desaturation fits well with the weathered look that the rasin creates. It's already weathered and it's real weathering!! To recognize the material used in the final product also highlights the transformation and seeing the corporate everyday-ness of it turned into something creative and sophisticated is inspiring. I assume that you intend on sanding and painting everything and I'm sure the final result would be great but this piece just says more to me than any iron man helm ever could. So please consider making another one to paint and leaving this one as it is🙏. Sometimes you just create something great by accident and you never know if you can recreate it if you try. In my opinion this could be the logo of your channel. It perfectly shows the essence of your art

The Jaw portion is ALWAYS the toughest to get right, it is usually either too tapering (from the front view) or more often the case noticeably too square, also from the front view, the pepukura method doesnt seem to allow for this. it does depend on how important accuracy is I admit.

How strong is the resin ? Like could it withstand a hit ? I wonder cuz i wanna use resin to reinforce some props for a movie me and some friends are making so we can hit the props seriously but at the same time i don't wanna damage it to much..
It can, but it's probably recommended to just use a 3D printer to make one. If you don't have a 3D printer, there are websites and libraries that allow you to use their services.
I made one around 2 years ago and i gotta give it to u, the slits on the faceplate is a really nice way to form the curve. It's just that the jaw seems a bit wider than the actual helmet
