Very interesting where your mind goes, and the predictions you make. Very curious about your reaction to future episodes, and I really look forward to seeing more of your wonderful reactions to this amazing series! 🤩
One of my favourite episodes of season 1!! I just love how we finally got to see this side of Amity and she and Luz were able to start repairing their relationship. I just know you will love Amity and I'm not saying that just because she's my second favourite character after Luz. And I do love the twins too. Their family is a... interesting one.
Oh I have been looking forward to this episode, especially since you were one of the viewers that sympathized with Amity very early on. And now we get Amity genuinely smiling and laughing! A historic moment for the show.
For the first 2/3 of Season 1, there was a lot of pressure from Disney, but the last 5 episodes or so, Dana Terrace had a lot more freedom to do things the way she wanted. (I hope that doesn't constitute spoilers) Really enjoying watching your journey!
I can’t think of many instances where the Owl House being a “kids show” has prevented them from having deeper/darker themes. Also, it does indeed seem that Luz and Amity will indeed become best of friends.
Crikey! Amity has the best arc in this season, Id's say the whole show if season 2 wasn't Season 2. So the Bat Queen wasn't surprised to see 3 babies instead of the one she left, so she's either aware that they ate each other or she deliberately let them to make the babysitter job look easier for Eda. Which one is worse parenting?
It's very interesting to hear what peoples' predictions are to shows when you know what's gonna happen. I so desperately wanna talk about things but obviously I'm not going to, all I am going to say however is that I'm excited for more! Crikey, you're getting closer and closer to the really good stuff!
I’ve heard the joke in the fandom that Luz is “Blightsexual” instead of Bisexual cuz of all the blushing in this episode, and it cracks me up every time! Also, I really appreciate someone picking up on the fact that Amity wants to be nice, but feels like she can’t be. A lot of the diary entries were red flags for me, and I really appreciate someone taking the time to actually try and understand, while most people just laugh at the “called my teacher mom again” line.

Hi Rainbow!🌈 How are you? I'm glad you're reacting to The Owl House!🦉🏠🧡🙂 Amity reading books to children as a librarian assistant for extra credit is so heartwarming.🩷🩷♥️📚📚📖 I also love Luz and Amity's shared interest for the Good Witch Azura.♥️📚📚📖✨✨🌠🧙 Don't you love reading books in a quiet place?❤️📙📚
Imagine what it says about the parents if the older siblings call clear bullying "tough love" and "for her own good"... 😬 Though I love that Luz is so naturally and clearly bisexual, both with her attraction to Nevareth in ep 2, and then her blushing at BOTH twins here...
I've always wondered: Are there no books outside the library? We later see books in Willow's room books. Aren't they affected? Otherwise the phenomenon would definitely be known.
With the twins, I'd bear in mind that as Amity's siblings, if Amity's having trouble at home, they probably are too...
Luz is just collecting blushes from the Blight family!
Fred and George vibes are I think completely intentional on Dana's part. She's clearly read Potter and makes the occasional direct reference.

"I called my teacher mom again" is a short line that doesn't get much attention... but my goodness, what does that say about Amity's home life?

Bat Queen is voiced by the amazing and really f'in weird Isabella Rossellini.

Or they just stack, like Russian Nesting Dolls.
"They're gonna be besties" Sure... let's go with that lol

My guess is that it's something about the library specifically, maybe the building is cursed.
