Super well made and understated! I just have one handbag from them, but it is one of the best I've had quality wise
I was in love with their Boxyz bag and bought it from FF ..it’s beautiful ..a bit heavy but reminds me of the Kelly

I'm a huge fan of Ferragamo and have been purchasing bags and shoes for over 25 years now. Even my oldest pieces are still in amazing condition and still relevant as they're so classic. I particularly like that they don't scream at you with logos, etc... I'm definitely off my LV and feeling flashy with my Chanels so I've mostly been using my many Ferragamos with some Longchamp thrown in occasionally (and just purchased a Ferragamo mini pouch bag this week, sandals last month - can't get enough!).
I am with you. I have a huge Ferragamo collection and so many of their shoes, it’s embarrassing. However, the prices have skyrocketed!!! Still, my favorite brand.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been considering Ferragamo lately again. I’m probably closer to your mom’s age than your age. When I first got out of college in ‘91, the Ferragamo bow hair clip and shoes were the must have items. I think their current bags are beautiful, minimal and not so commonplace. We buy Aesop too including for gifts, always loved and appreciated by the recipient.
Definitely closer to my age than my mom’s! 😉 And yes to giving Aesop as gifts!! 👏
I LOVE Ferragamo!! I have the same bag in a green matching their Viva flats and I get TONS of compliments on those items. When I bought this style a couple of years ago, the price was $650! Hope Ferragamo doesn’t go too mainstream thou.

That bag is so cute! I think if you order another… the taupe/beige color would be really nice and can still be versatile in your wardrobe! I think because of the undertone of that taupe/beige color, it can be worn year-around. It is also a neutral color which I observed is your preferred choice of color palette ❤ I love a black bag but I find that the color easily accumulate in my collection… I’m sure others can attest to that statement too 😅😂
Neutrals are definitely my thing! 😂 I wonder though if I should experiment with different colors in small sizes. 🤔 Thanks for your input!

"Knowing" you, I think a black one or a taupe will be perfect in your collection. I doubt you will get much wear out of a red one, or especially a pink one. The bag is so cute!

I have 3 Ferragamo bags and enjoy them.also some shoes.its not a brand that's very exciting, although 6 months bk I almost bought from their new collection. A gorg bag which looks like the dior Caro.it was for 1700 euro which is an excellent price.its just that one has so many bags and if I don't love it 100 percent I don't wanna add it.btw npeal is great and has high quality stuff

I have the aesop resurrection hand wash and it's amazing. Also if you don't do full pumps, it can last months and months.
Definitely not doing full pumps! 😂 Even a tiny bit gives a strong scent.
Iceland will be an amazing trip, I went a few years ago. I would stress to have a jacket that is water proof and with a hood, and if it's not insulated then be able to have layers under it, especially if you want do to any kind of excursions. It rains a lot, like nearly every day, some just a light sprinkle, some like an afternoon thunder storm (if you been in the south during summer you know what i mean. Having that as a minimum will make this easier, don't think you'll want to carry an umbrella every where, in fact you'll want to do smaller bags to wear under your jacket. If youre thinking you might want to pick up something from there at the start of your trip then Icewear is the most affordable and they have a big range of stuff, I got a jacket thats water resistant and windproof and its been great for rainy days here in the mid Atlantic. Also worth looking at (that is also higher end/more fashion) check out 66 North and Cintamani. All 3 have flagship stores in Reykjavik.

For your duplicate bag, I would vote for black. I like the taupe color too, but I think it might be too similar to your brown Evelyne imo. The orange looks fun, but I'm a neutrals girl like you and, to keep it 100, I think it might be hard to wear for us neutral fans. I'm also a massive black bag fan so maybe I am biased 😄 I have been noticing Ferragamo more and more lately, especially the Gancini line. I'm liking the look of the mini backpack and the bucket bags! About the Ferragamo bag.
I would personally go for a color different than black because to me one black bag is enough and you do own a few black bags but I think if you order for yourself you should probably go for black as well because it seems like a very practical everyday bag for you and if it was a color thats harder to style you won’t reach for it often.
So yeah.. I think this bag in black suits your wardrobe best ❤

Cute bag. It kinda seems like an Hermes Evelyn but i like the look of it a lot more. Seems like a great errand/travel bag.
So true - it is similar to the mini Evelyne. The Ferragamo is a little narrower in size and has top handles so I think it gives off a more dainty look.
Are the CT make up brushes comparable the the full size ones? I have found Mac & other brands that offer smaller travel sized brushes are much poorer quality. Cute bag! Keep it!
The quality is really nice. The brushes are super soft and thick. I don’t own any other CT brushes, but I compared them with my other, older brushes and I’m very happy with the quality of this set.

hahah I feel your son's sentiment about the Aesop soap. I thought about getting it too but decided against it. The Ferragamo handbag is so cute! But I wonder why the stock photos look different. Your bag looks narrow in width but the stock photo looks wider.
Ok so I noticed the difference in the stock photo too!! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I think over time, the leather will open up a bit and the shape will become more rectangular/symmetrical. Right now, the sides fold inward. I don’t mind it but it definitely looks different than what’s online. My mom won’t mind either way. 😂
@@hellocatwalkcity one reason that I hesitated on this bad was the north south vs East West layout. Even with tote bags that I’ve been eyeing. I’ve never had bags where it was taller vs wider. Not sure how I’ll get along with that style.

I think it’s fine to carry as a top handle but too tight to actually hang on the wrist.

Love the Ferragamo handbag, it is small yet pack a punch. Suggest you get another color for yourself, maybe the neutral looks like beige color in the video but is still neutral that can go with most of your outfit. You know why...so that when you go out with your mom and both of you are carrying the same handbag, it will not mix up. Lol..i know she is your mom but let's say you go home, and she went home too only to realized. Right? Just thinking out loud 😂at least if in a different color both of you can just spot each other one very quickly. Good that you can give it to your mom. How i wish my mom is still around to ask me for a handbag. Not that when she is alive, she asks any from me, she just had 1 for the rest of her life and i remembered when i am kid, i love to play with hers. She is just really simple and with a simple lifestyle. I love your son's answer...even as a kid. Just reminded me of my 10 years old niece too. When i wanted to buy something at times when i am shopping with her, she will remind me of that price in a tone sounded like a lot. Lol...
