i got both decks and I was trying to figure out a way to make them better, found your video and decided to put them together cause why not. It became one of my favorite decks.
I recently bought the Fallout deck and was looking for a video that broke down how the combination of these two decks works. This video fits exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
This is exactly what I was searching for, other videos upgrade guides are basically the same, they all talk about some energy cards (some don't even care about the energy mechanic haha) but they just pasively mention the fallout precons instead of trying to combine the two to make a better deck, thank you for this upload!
Just what I was looking for… I was actually doing this right now but was going around in circles trying to decide what cards to cut and keep. As someone who only buys & plays precons with slight upgrades this series really helps!
I appreciate you doing this. This could be a whole series. Lots of precon match up ex: desert bloom from thunder junction and lands wrath from zendikar rising. Strefan and Anje for vampires, Cesar and Jirina for token humans etc
Something to consider that i personally had to learn with the Shaun interaction, the token copy of Satya won't make it's open copy token the turn it enters because of how something entering tapped and attacking doesn't trigger "when you attack" effects :)
@@quartzkoi9779 Correct! It's very tough to explain to newer players that being put into play attacking is not the same as attacking. My experience on that; My wife plays Kaalia of the Vast. -Jon
@@MTGThoughtcast Amy thoughts on mashing together the rotcleaver midnight hunt zombie precon and the grave danger starter precon. They're both based on zombie tribal but I don't know how effective they'd be together
Awesome, thank you for this! I was looking for a sort of start to combine these precons. If you had to add cards outside of the precon, what would they be and their replacements?
I love the additions on the combined deck :D, minus shaun, as I see, when playing satya, I want to have copies of big etbs, ltb or damage triggers. I think there are not a lot of legendary creatures that have good etbs on the decks, so if u make copies, u will see the benefits after one turn, and lets be real, a lot of times, big turns dont last one cycle >-
The way I see it, even just using Shaun to copy Satya, it gives your opponent one more menace threat that they HAVE to deal with, otherwise you get to do 2x what your deck is already built to do! -Joseph
Last night i was playing creative energy. Had unblockable Satya and Aragorn going. Aragorn gets exiled. A couple turns later im printing out Balefire Dragons, clearing boards doing a ton of damage. Someone wipes. Next after I won the game with infinite combats. Lol.
So Satya's effect isnt just your next end step, its also in effect of the end step of your opponents as well. Meaning that with a pod of four you would need to pay 4 times the mana to keep the copy until it becomes your turn again and then repeat the process on your turn. 😅
@@MTGThoughtcast the judge at my local game store says it only works on each end step due to the last effect, not just the player's endstep. So im going to assume that's the official ruling given that a judge gave the verdict on that.
@@diosama6659 I don't know what to tell you other than that judge is very wrong. It'll only trigger the end step after you attack with satya, then you keep the token or choose to sacrifice it. I also was a judge and have a pretty good grip on how triggers work! -Joseph
it is shocking how many misconceptions there are about creative energy. it wasn't really built to focus on energy, just creating copies and using energy for payoffs. That's pretty much it. so, it isn't intended to be a deck entirely focused on using energy all the time. I like the deck because of the ways you can upgrade it. me personally? I didn't go the route of combining science with creative energy. eileened more into its artifact token creature creation and replace some energy payoffs with others that I thought were much better suited. also switch to the backup Commander. and particular reason because the face commander seem to be long more in the 99. because to me, the deck after all these upgrades had seemed more in line with the Tron movies? I added the Tron lands. All three of them to generate the excess generic Mana needed for these payoffs.
@bigchris3247 With most of the creatures in the 99 producing Energy, Liberty should always have some to pay for it to attack or block. There still should be artifacts around too for the 2nd ability. With how this style of deck is made, mashing Science into Creative Energy can be adjusted to include more cards from one deck or vice versa! -Jon
She's great because she makes and uses energy herself, but by combining the precons, there wasn't enough artifact support to have her in the command zone, I feel! -Joseph

Nope! The trigger reads "at the beginning of the next end step..." so it only triggers once!

Would this deck still work if I used liberty of prime?

I personally perfer dr.madison li for the commander i personally feel like she is stronger the satya if your building from the ground up
