For me its because that's song kinda symbolizes the end of an era. While its playing, you are seeing many characters for what would end up being the last time, as they dont end up reappearing in any subsequent games. This song marks the end of the golden age of Ace Attorney.
There will never ever be another video game series like Phoenix Wright; Ace Attorney. Thank you, Capcom, for the amazing characters I encountered, the deep cases I went through, and the build up of relationships I experienced between all of the characters. I wish I could play this again for the first time..
In my opinion, Phoenix and Maya have been through way more hard times than Apollo and Athena. The end of the best and golden era of Ace Attorney, as we now see Phoenix taking on Mia’s legacy
I think so too. Honestly, I just couldn't bring myself to play the Apollo Justice games any further because I knew it just wouldn't be the same without Phoenix Wright, the rookie attorney.
I think Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice just messed up coming up with way too fake stakes and completely broken backstories, in my opinion. I like to think the AA series as a TV series, with 3 seasons (1 season per game). At first the series ends in season 3 (Trials and Tribulations), but years later they launch 2 more seasons, not about our Phoenix Wright since his story was concluded, but a well-known prosecutor.. that prosecutor being Miles Edgeworth, and the last 2 seasons? the AAI games, and thus giving an end to the AA story as a whole.

I just noticed that in 1:32 , a guitar starts playing, which could be a reference to how the Gavineers were established almost at the same time as Trials and Tribulations end, and how the main guitar, Klavier Gavin, debutted as a prosecutor almost at the same time, maybe Klavier was the one playing the guitar on this track?
I just realized, Manfred von Karma is the only prosecutor not in this game. Even Payne was in the first case. I kinda wish they replaced Edgeworth with Von Karma in Turnabout Beginnings, just so they could hammer in that he was a horrible man who wanted to win no matter the cost.
I love this trilogy and I refuse to attempt to think dual destinies and spirit of justice hold up to these 3 masterpieces of the original games. After finishing the trilogy I played Apollo Justice and Investigations which were also quite good. The next ace attorney game next year better have godot
@@sillycat103 If we don't even have Gumshoe anymore, what makes you think we're going to get someone in prison?
@@jessequeen4550 eh good point but maybe we gonna get them both. Yknow how gumshoe is a sweet detective working for the police force? Yea 🤩
Umm... Godot was probably executed. But good news are that Gumshoe got a raise.
@leksos gru Yeah. Cuz in Japan if you kill someone and if it will be proven in court then you will be probably given a death penality. If you alredy forget the same happend to Dahlia Hawthorne.
We never got to see Jean Armstrong say anything in the credits
thank god

0:04 Battle Against a True Hero
Loooool true
Also, the last bits of "Bring It on Guys!", then too "Home" and "Fallen down (Reprise)" "Hopes and Dreams" "SAVE the world", "Last goodbye", but undertale has so many leitmotiev that I could go on..
And I can find so many "alike" bits with this part, and "Turnabout Sisters" this would be quite a long comment but not so much, maybe.
I now play this every time something big changes in my life
Perfect ending of a legendary trilogy. Even when I played DD first, I feel like this whole trilogy is still deeply connected to my childhood
Knowing what happens after this game adds a very somber feeling to it. Phoenix was there for all his clients and friends when they needed him, but who was there for Phoenix when he needed them?
oh crap now i feel bad for Phoenix
My boy edgeworth
These memories will stay with us forever. Thank you, Capcom. 🍫
i first played this game just because i find a random yt comment about saying "this is basically ace attorney online" i forgor the vid
then i think to myself "wait, ace attorney have a singleplayer game?"
and checking it and downloading the game is the greatest decision i make this year
01:53 :')
i genuinely do not remember how i got to know this series, but im so glad i did
thank you, shu takumi, for the wonderful experience these three games were
I would give anything to be able to play for the first time all over again ❤️❤️
Same here. What an ending!
f e e l s
An amazing but saddest end to the original series.
Esse jogo significa muito pra mim, ace attorney é um dos poucos jogos que conseguiu realmente me encantar, principalmente o Trials and Tribulations, que é o meu jogo favorito atualmente. Tudo nele me traz boas memórias, principalmente essa música
I just want to forget it and experience it all again, with all its hard cases, rage quits, i want all that.
Love this song, such a good ending
this song really hits the hardest. It feels like the end of an era knowing that everything will be different after the trilogy. Maya will no longer accompany us, detective gumshoe will never be seen with phoenix wright again. It really feels like seeing the end of a happy, memorable journey
God this trilogy’s music is so good I honestly forgot these were from DS games 😅
It actually were GBA games
This truly sounds like a music saying "We had a nice adventure, let's remember the great times, and bad things that we had in our journey."
My favourite AA track.
"Mr. Wright. You dare present fake evidence. In my court. You need to pass your lawyer badge."
That’s just the ace attorney anime
Essentially a medley of many great songs in the game. Easily the best ending theme in the original trilogy.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭trials and tribulations is over and Phoenix is no longer an lawyer
He is now, he got his badge back :3
Phoenix was still a lawyer after T&T, he just lost his badge some time later in trial with Gavin Klavier

Unironically one of the best games I've ever played. The whole trilogy was amazing and I loved every bit of it.
Now I just have to find a way to play them all blind again :(
Just beat the trilogy and wow its great

Man this song... What it means after seeing the entire game unfold... Its so peak. And I still feel these games impact
I heard this at the end of my today's working day.
such a sad yet cheerful music at the same time and this is the end of the trilogy
It took me about three years to finish this game.. here Iam today
When I first heard this after finishing the trilogy, I literally started crying
Very sad farewell song for the trilogy and also for Maya's mother and for Godot. 😭😭😭
Truly a tragic scenario that arose due to Godot's truly human flaws and trauma.
1:54 best part
I just finished the game and man... The last time I felt something soo good was when I played The Walking Dead Telltale, man what a journey, fantastic characters, soundtracks and I never thought I would love a game that requires reading that much, but oh man I just can't describe the feelings man, I just want to play again but I wished if was like first time again 😭🔥

_For now._
Was that not a violin...?

I just realized, Manfred von Karma is the only prosecutor not in this game. Even Payne was in the first case. I kinda wish they replaced Edgeworth with Von Karma in Turnabout Beginnings, just so they could hammer in that he was a horrible man who wanted to win no matter the cost.
nah but it works better with edgeworth cause you can see him copying manfreds objection animation to show how influenced he was by von karma back then
@@Seedonator Also explained in the 4th case of Investigations

I love this trilogy and I refuse to attempt to think dual destinies and spirit of justice hold up to these 3 masterpieces of the original games. After finishing the trilogy I played Apollo Justice and Investigations which were also quite good. The only thing I’m sad about is Phoenix never ended up with Iris....plus I’m still sad over Godot he’s probably stuck in jail with a life sentence at the least or probably going to be executed. Poor Diego... 😞
Dual destinies eh sure. Spirit of justice though is better than justice for all and on the same level as the first one IMO. But to each their own.
@@juliogomesdesouza9035 I respect your opinion and fair enough JFA with its terrible tutorial case and Turnabout Bug Top pretty much the worst case in the series it isn’t great but it still has the original and same vibe that The first game and T&T have. Either way though your opinion is good and SoJ and DD are good. I just think their mediocre compared to the original 3.
@@pierceflynn10 I see
I know it's REALLY sad, but I kind of like to think Godot ends up succumbing to his poison, perhaps intentionally stops taking whatever medication is keeping him alive since he's realized that his work's really done and Phoenix is still there to carry out Mia's will
