    Azelyra you need to know even though I cant speak for everyone that its great to see you doing okay. You've been one of my fav PSO2 content creators from base. 6:50 You definitely should do this. MORE People should do this. Because it's the biggest problem with the internet. Everyone is faking a perfect life and shows no weakness. And this is what makes people depressed. They think they are alone with their bad feelings. That everyone around them has a good life and only them are sad.
    But this is not true. All of us have to carry something. No one is perfect. And by showing us your struggles, you make us feel less alone. (Yes, I'm talking about myself here.)
    So thank you very much for sharing your story with us. ❤

      This, 100% this! And to add on if you do show any valuability or bring in your personal problems on the Internet, You're often ignored, or even outright gaslit into thinking it's not a problem.

      How I look at it personally is that as a CREATOR, it's best to not bring in personal drama/issues etc because from our standpoint- we're here to entertain you rather than piling our problems on you
      Perhaps that is my professionalism talking, or the Asian in me talking haha but I 100% understand your perspective
      It would be great if everyone could be a lot more genuine sometimes on the internet 😊

    Never apologize for making a video long , we are not tiktok weaklings .
    Now if you want stablish a standard , thats up to you.
    About your projects i will fully support them .
    I also do PSO2 videos about the lore in spanish but subbed in english too .
    And since NGS i have been covering aspects that i never covered in the main story videos like: races , power sources , classes background etc .
    And i started that journey simply because nobody else did it.

    You are the reason I pushed forward to keep playing PSO2, and even NGS for a bit. Your guides, gameplay videos, etc, all are fun to watch.
    I am a solo player in PSO2 these days cuz all my friends left the game super early, but even when alone, your videos along with the other PSO2 content creator's videos have given me enough motivation and hope for this game, even if it is in a rough spot.
    Do whatever makes you happy, and what you love, since you inspired others to do what they love ❤

    Awwww yeah! Future content sounds super fun to watch, can't wait! 😄

    Thought branching out to other type of content other than pso2 too seems like a good idea imo , like creating a brand around yourself or personality .

    Sega is in a weird spot right now. With PSO2 standard hit had the benefit that more people played it more than the private servers. Now NGS is out people are playing PSO2, PSU , and PSO servers more than the newest.

    • @Azelyra
      @Azelyra  10 місяців тому +1

      It's hard for me to say since I genuinely don't have much knowledge of the private servers but, in the end nostalgia is quite a powerful thing, who knows what may happen if SEGA decides to remaster/remake some of the older legendary phantasy star titles like how FF7R is a thing, imagine?

    Dude. You're the first PSOtuber I watched and still to this day my favorite to just watch your gameplay and chill chatting or commentary. I love your characters and seeing the different characters with their different classes depending on the video, so if you wanted to make content focused on them for either base or NGS i will definitely watch those. If you stresm yourself playing and chatting every once in a while I'd watch the VODs. Also if you wanted to just talk through different topics and use your gameplay footage as bg that would also be something I'd watch. Speaking for myself but I assume for most of your audience we're here for your personality and creativity, your characters and gameplay and chill vibe. whatever you do with that whether its base or NGS I'll watch probably especially if its like 20+ minutes lol
    oh another idea you could also find a way to showcase the characters and flesh out their backstories i would LOVE something like that if it was longer

    • @Azelyra
      @Azelyra  10 місяців тому +1

      I thought about more character based showcases and things like that- But I haven't found the "right balance" yet of the whole thing being succinct for the gameplay/cinematic nature of it, as well added with the flavors of the character itself and its writing, or so on
      That aside- thank you so much for your time! I really, really do appreciate it

    Quit about 6 months ago at this point and i dont miss it. Ill go back once they actually make the classes fun and interesting instead of brain dead mobile game level. Theyre just so unfun to play and also the sub class system needs a massive overhaul. Its way to restrictive and removes any creativity.
    Its hilarious that for a game that prides itself in how much you can customize your character, the very thing Phantasy Star has been known for over the last 20+ years which is its complex combat system, is the most uncustomizable thing ive seen in a game.
    Base PSO2 just has an infinitely more enjoyable combat system in basically every way possible from the class designs and even the boss design is just galaxies better.

    Ever since the start of NGS, I've LOVED messing around with weird multiweapons, and I honestly feel like a total outlier to most of the player base because of how... 'middle' I've always been. I don't get a ton of time to play, but I try the best I can when I'm online, yet at the same time, I kind of appreciate enjoyment of the game beyond only the grind and optimization, but so many people are so against that, so I try hard to keep that under my hat and avoid the hardest content.
    Among the most fun weapons I messed with were: Tetra Saber (DS/SB), Dualblade (TMG/DS), Swagger (SW/DGR), Pugizan (KN/PRT), Soaring Hammer (WND/SB), & Talons (KN/JB). I wish there was less push-back against multiweapons because of how fun it could be to see people try to make up a fighting style for one.
    I'd love to be able to send in my CS, though it's on ship 3 and I'd have to un-private it or add someone to my friends list for them to be able to see it. Regardless, this new effort sounds like a lot of fun. :)

    • @Azelyra
      @Azelyra  10 місяців тому

      The logistics are something definitely to figure out- Also to be fair it's a PvE game, there's no real need to be extremely insane or hard optimize everything since in the end, clearing content is well, clearing content, you do it your way and that's really the beauty of it

    As for content, I think those are all pretty good content ideas for Videos! I think you should just go with whatever you like the most, or everything if you feel like it o: Try making videos that you think you yourself would enjoy watching as a PSO2/NGS player, but also ones you enjoy making as a Content Creator that likes the game :)

    Apologies for the long comment but I want to say a lot. Don't worry though! I'll add my feedback about your up coming content at the end so if you don't want to read too much you still get something useful out of the comment. The ramble is really just set dressing so you can understand the feedback.
    I started my PS experience on the JP side of PSO2 right around Episode 4's main time. Very briefly unfortunately but what got me into the game was very simply showcase videos of PA's on different classes. It was basic video structure in JP with music and no voice overs, but the PA's just looked so cool that I wanted to try the game. The only exposure to PS before that was PSU and it didn't seem like my cup of tea (but now I enjoy it!) Once I committed to try and navigate the process of getting onto PSO2 JP I started getting interested in Fashion.
    Novi Katz? Probably spelled wrong but regardless it was one of the first items that caught my eye. Then before I knew it I was hours into just looking at a bunch of cosmetic item names and then searching on google to see if I could find in game screen shots of them. I was obsessed. Unfortunately because my friends at the time never stuck to their word of meeting up to play the game I felt adrift and didn't feel comfortable on my own so I just didn't try to go back to JP ever.
    Fast forward a bit and I started to see videos about successor/scion classes. They looked so stylish and amazing and I really wanted to play again. I never actually got around to it unfortunately until Global came around. But I do remember watching a lot of videos of said Classes. I was very into Phantom initially (little did I know It would end up being my least played one d: ) Anyway, most of my experience with content creation for PSO2 was guides. Not just the basics of a Class but advanced stuff that you'd do for specific encounters. Also some crafting.
    NGS wise most of my content I watch is gameplay showcases from TA communities. So similar to Classic (for endless and against bosses) but I also end up watching a lot of people showing off weapon camos and emotes. I'm much more invested into Fashion in NGS compared to Classic and that's saying something. While I never invested that much time into room creation in Classic I did dabble with it. I want to with NGS as well but I honestly feel lost on where to start and what not.
    But anyway that's enough about me. About your content I really do like the idea of seeing you show off screenshots as well as streams about character creation tips/processes. I'm always looking at people in towns for ideas I can try on my own. I tamper not just with items/body paint but now body types/different faces. If you were to do actual gameplay content I would definitely watch stuff like you doing duels with your class or solo/duo things like 4 man content (or Arks record stuff too!). NGS is very action oriented and I feel like we don't get enough videos showing how in depth combat can actually be.
    Sometimes I think it would be nice if we had longer form videos that verbally explore the depths for some of the classes, but I also think it probably just doesn't gel well with how others treat the game and I'd hate to ask someone to do something like that and have their work go un noticed. I will just continue to lurk on the fleet cord to get my fix. But yeah big supportive of character creation content, screen shot content, and gameplay content as I just mentioned.
    Long form content doesn't turn me away. I will say though that I don't really watch shorts. Not because I hate that YT is trying to trend like TikTok (though I do hate it,) it's more just that I see a lot of CC's try to do shorts and it feels sort of forced. When it doesn't really get the traction they want it bums them out. So if you feel comfortable doing shorts then I support your choice, I just probably won't end up seeing them since I try to hide all shorts from my timeline.
    Anyway I hope this was some what helpful to you. I'm glad you're back and looking energized to make more content again. I still think your Phantom guide was the best guide I've ever seen for a Class and I really like the effort you put into making your content. Best wishes to your YT content (:

    • @Azelyra
      @Azelyra  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you so much for taking the time! The very least I can do to reciprocate is also take my time to read all the way through.
      Your perspective is something I completely understand and relate to, really, although the biggest issue for creators realistically really is, the effort that has to be put in vs the payoff at the end
      I was able to do the Phantom Guide purely off passion, but it's hard to say if that will be a goal I could do some time later down the lifetime of NGS, as I'm sure the visuals and potential of it will be out of this world if it comes to fruition-
      But I think the important thing I can do for now for both myself and everyone in the community is really, find "my place" here again, and after that, it's all open ended really and that's where I'm hoping to reach right now 😊

    • @mongrelshadow14
      @mongrelshadow14 10 місяців тому

      Yes effort versus pay off is a constant juggle for CCers and I totally respect it. Also I apologize, I wasn't really trying to ask/imply that you make long form guides again. More that I actually excitingly scroll in the Class channels often and even comment in them just because I love knowing about the little quirks or nuances to classes. I actually learned to both love and appreciate Force in NGS now because I took the time to read their document on it.
      I wish I could share/show that same sort of enjoyment about those things with others hence the guide comment. At the same time there are content creators like Kat who do a very good job of highlighting those kinds of things with gameplay and they do it all without voicing. Just really good editing and really good gameplay. So perhaps "guides" in the traditional sense are not really needed for NGS combat to resonate with others.
      Also I agree, do find your footing again! I'm sure whatever you land on and create I will enjoy just as much as I have with other content from you. I was very happy to see a video from you pop up in my subs again and I look forward to more!

    I think those are great video ideas! They would help to foster the culture of the game and its community. Also you're English is very good!

      I always felt that PSO2 really has been "about the community", but we just haven't got really much of the opportunities to really SHOW OFF said community- It's a lot of untapped potential there I feel
      But thank you very much for your time! ☆

    I would love that there to many serious endgame strategies videos and news videos it would be a breath of fresh air videos focusing on the community

      Sometimes it's just very easy to look at A-B-C and just do things according to fornula, but after years of it, I just really feel that kind of thing doesn't really suit me after all
      I'm hoping that I'll be able to stick through with everything though, I'll do my best to

    I expected NGS stays the same for quite a big while, by that I mean it's untouched potential left untouched
    In my theory, the way SEGA see NGS is more like a subsidiary game/project now that its main purpose has already been served
    they take the game more slowly and doesn't really put much priority into it or whatever
    as long as the game was doing fine financially despites lacking in half in quality, they wouldn't deem hurry a neccessity
    With that in mind... I think taking a brake from a game like this once in a while is rather a healthy choice only the sane would do
    I mean, it wasn't that same PSO2 we all know anymore anyways, I do miss the good old day but time will only move forward...

      You're quite correct on one thing- one of the very early interviews I can't remember by 4gamer or dengeki, but it was told to us that NGS is meant for players to take a break and come back to play during big patches, something like that (I'm paraphrasing)

    You are one of the last pso2 people i still watch. I had a pretty bad interaction with a different creator. That plus my declining hope for the for game to reach a general state of hype has made me decide to step away. Still love to watch anything you put out i just dont know if i can justify giving pso my time and money anymore. Sorry for the bummy rant....

      You're all good! ☆
      People like you are actually one of the particular reason that I thought about these video ideas since you genuinely won't need to be super versed into the game, even if you've just dabbled in the past, literally just seeing fun ideas and challenges sometimes is a nice change of pace I feel haha

    It's really not your fault at all, it's just because this game specifically NGS, is just such a weird mash of extremely casual and hardcore kinda game. It then makes it inconsequential to not play the game at all but at the same time most players will just have a casual mindset and will not take this game seriously as much like back in Base PSO2 or earlier titles.
    Azelyra doe, you are fine, you had a nice voice really, yeah it might sound awkward for you personally but compared to mine, its actually much more soothing than my coarse voice lol. But still i wouldn't be here as a Content Creator at the first place if you are not there back in JP PSO2 making content since then.
    Also yeah I could relate to you in video ideas but there is always that one thing i think most people just rarely does, which I had done, which is making videos using Creative Space as Prop sets and making videos using Emotes as acting. So far I've made some music videos here and there and a pilot of a visual novel like storytelling but yeah i think this is what I've decided to spend more time on when I can, but there is only so much I can do when i had half day shifts daily. Maybe that could be a nice video idea or photoshoot theme even. Thank you for expressing out yourself even if its feeling weird, I am glad you are still believing in the game.
    Hopefully SEGA announcing all those old IPs as remakes or remasters because of the success of Sonic Frontiers/Yakuza/Persona series can make Phantasy Star another mainline flagship live service title too someday.❤

      I just always feel there's that "untapped potential" that basically no one in the content creation sphere here, and not even SEGA themselves has been able to reach yet, I always felt that it's very possible and just so close, but I never really had enough of the time and commitment to really get it to that point
      THAT DOESN'T STOP ME FROM TRYING THOUGH!
      also inb4 the "super game" is just Phantasy Star Universe 2 lol
