Wow today i exparimented same of ur formuls i made heat transfer steacker by adding extra 5% foile dahasive result was amazing so soft very very less feel...thanks
@@LibertyGraphicDesigns I was only curious because I saw part of the image on the pallet. I am new to the screen printing business. I have watching your videos a lot. You give a lot of great tricks and knowledge. Thank yoj
After passing the first color (grey) will not stain the frame of the second (blue) and third (red) color? Why the ink of the t shirt is not wet? Thanks for the videos!
Ive done this, but only up to 30%... Standard Graphics does the same thing.... its a cool technique IMO, and I dont mind the slight opacity reduction. Never heard of adding "foil adhesive" though.. is that part really necessary?? Thanks for sharing Juan. :)
no, the adhesive is not necessary but it helps a lot if you're working with poly-blends. thank you for your comment I appreciate the time you took to watch my video, thank you!!
Juan do you always use reducer ? I'm trying ecotex white and it's really thick hard to flood the screen with it. It ended up clogging my screen on the 2nd pass
Hey Juan, that is a good idea, I like the soft hand feel of this process, however, I have a question. You said to use 50/50 Plastisol ink with curable reducer and then you mentioned adding ADHESIVE but you did not say how much adhesive to add to the mix, can you give the ratio for the adhesive to add to the mix? Thanks
Frontline Strong Apparel. it will work with all regular colors. If you want to use special effect inks, then you cannot use 50% reducer. Inks like metallic, puff, foil adhesive, white etc..,you can use max 5% by weight.
Mad max on the video I only showed white tees but I actually started with black triblend and heather grey... you can use what ever color tees you want just change the color of the ink as well. It dont have to be white and you can test just about any garment you want in this case the one I pick was the one that was more prone to fail.
I have a hard time pushing white plastisol ink through a 230 mesh on a 45lpi half tone stencil, I keep getting inconsistencies on my prints. I don't want to push down any harder because my prints will smudge. Will curable reducer be a good solution to this problem?
nice video, I will for sure try this method..I really dont like the hand that plastisol leaves but I dont like how fast waterbase ink dries...a catch 22...
Easy tapping that knife on your mesh putting ink in the screen. Gray looks to be PMS 423. Careful pulling the tank off - you don't want to smear the ink.
Judy Galsick it doesn’t matter because each screen will get placed back in the same position so none of the ink on the bottom of the screen will smear or transfer to the shirt
Great idea bro...I was looking for this since long time. ...Kindly send me the link for curable reducer and foil adhesives ....thank you buddy...good job....☺
yes not a problem, the font I used is = Edwardian scrip ITC = and I added the tail on the "g" also modified the font with like contour, angles and curves
Graphic designer that print tshirts, wears a tshirt with no design on it LOL, classic XD Great video, thank you! "En casa de herrero, cuchillo de palo" dicen haha!

Been watching printing videos all day and I finally found a process that would help with vintage tees! Thanks so much
New to the screen printing industry and grateful to educational videos. thank you
Looks like what I've been looking for, soft feel with durability. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Keep up the great work
Everyone loves soft feel shirts. Thanks.

Really nice design
Good video thanks
Nice
Is there another way to dry the shirts since I don’t own a Conveyor Dryer? Thank you. Your videos are awesome holmes!
Yes there is... you can use a flash dryer or a heat gun
one good video
Gracias
325 f por un minuto
Gracias
Great work dude, please continue with the videos
Thank you
Awesome
Looks good Juan!
On dark shirts, this will kill the opacity, especially with white, but makes a cool vintage distressed look. :)
what if you did an underbase that was reduced and a highlight white on top
Look great. Does it bleed through being so thin compared to just plastisol ink.
No it does no

@@kinggreen4638 You just have to be carful with the pressure you apply when printing
Wilflex has Fashion Base and its incredible, just like waterbase but plastisol.
Can you use this system with black tshirts since you reduce the ink
When you print wet on wet how you prevent the mesh dont pull up the previous ink
Use a higher mesh
After passing the first color (grey) will not stain the frame of the second (blue) and third (red) color? Why the ink of the t shirt is not wet? Thanks for the videos!
yes it will but it wont ruin the print, this is called "wet on wet printing"
Thanks bro! Very helpful.
Helio Juan, great stuff. can you please do a video on water based with the same design to see the difference side by side.. thank you!
Blank Frame Studio I think that is a great idea!!

Can you do a video on register marks on the board please
Juan do you always use reducer ? I'm trying ecotex white and it's really thick hard to flood the screen with it. It ended up clogging my screen on the 2nd pass
Not all the time but yes we use reducer when the inks are too thick to work with or to creat different effects
Hey Juan, that is a good idea, I like the soft hand feel of this process, however, I have a question. Oops, re-watching the video I see you did say 5-10% adhesive.
hey Jon, thank you asking! its 50/50 ink and reducer and 5 to 10% adhesive
Does it works directly on black shirt?
Do you need foil adhesive or can you just use curable reducer with the plastisol ink?
Curable reducer works good if you adhesive the print will be very shiny
Juan que marca de pesa usa I cuanto te costo I donde puedo comprar una
dymo y la compre en office depot
Which number fabric (mash) use in plasticsol heat transfer sticker for good quality
110 or 160
Can we use hot melt powder adhesive(Used for heat transfer)?
excelente me gusto
Looks great! Will that process work with all colors?
Frontline Strong Apparel. it will work with all regular colors. If you want to use special effect inks, then you cannot use 50% reducer. Inks like metallic, puff, foil adhesive, white etc..,you can use max 5% by weight.
no not really, on some colors you can hardly see it
Liberty Graphic Designs of course you have to use white t-shirts and always test the opacity of the ink on colored tees.
Mad max on the video I only showed white tees but I actually started with black triblend and heather grey... you can use what ever color tees you want just change the color of the ink as well. It dont have to be white and you can test just about any garment you want in this case the one I pick was the one that was more prone to fail.
if you change the colors it will I just used RED, GREY and Royal
I like your video, thumbs up! What kind of adhesive are you talking about? glitter or foil!!!
Foil, thank you for watching, i used foil adhesive on this video.
newbie here. doesn't the ink leave a mess on your screen with the wet on wet method?
Hey bro how is the opacity on black shirts? I can see its like a Matte finish?
yes youre right is a bit mate
Great video, the left over of ink can used in couple of months or in not good any more. I like your videos.
thanks for watching Francisco! Yes you can reuse the left over ink it wont go bad
I have a hard time pushing white plastisol ink through a 230 mesh on a 45lpi half tone stencil, I keep getting inconsistencies on my prints. I don't want to push down any harder because my prints will smudge. Will curable reducer be a good solution to this problem?
Great video! What kind of adhesive do you use on your platen ??
water based tex-tac
If you do this method will your ink dry in the screen like water based does? Or does it still act like a plastisol?
Brandi Graham no it will not!
nice video, I will for sure try this method..I really dont like the hand that plastisol leaves but I dont like how fast waterbase ink dries...a catch 22...
YES water base tends to "wash off" where as plastisol last longer
Is soft hand feel depend on ink quality
Yes
Hello , what about demagration problems with this technique?
you can use an underbase to prevent migration
Easy tapping that knife on your mesh putting ink in the screen. Gray looks to be PMS 423. Careful pulling the tank off - you don't want to smear the ink.
what tipe of mesh you use wen the ink is watery
195, I usually use a 156 but you can use a 195
One question!! I'm a rookie and I'm getting ready to do screen printing!! What happens if you don't use the curable reducer??
Jr Diossa you don't have to use it this just to get a softer feel to the point
Tiempo y temperatura para curarlas
325 Fahrenheit por 1 minute an un minute y medio

can u make a video how to mix the inks
ua-cam.com/video/yD79Eqijsx0/v-deo.html this is for water based inks but its the same principal when it comes to plastisol inks
That's a good idea. P.S love the print
Does anybody knows why my plastisol stay in the squeegee becomes very sticky so I have to use a spatula to move it down from the squeegee

Is that a yes or no?
yes not a problem, the font I used is = Edwardian scrip ITC = and I added the tail on the "g" also modified the font with like contour, angles and curves
yes
Edwardian scrip ITC
I also added the distress look on the entire design
