- Pushing factory components to the limit is nothing new on this channel, like this INCREDIBLE Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 running at the Puerto Rico Half Mile! Coupling the benefits of the factory blower with cooling and power attributes of Methanol Injection and a Nitrous system, this BEAUTIFUL Machine is able to pump out over 1100HP! Between battling an aggressive headwind and a few tuning issues, the car wasn’t able to perform as well as the owners had hoped, but it sure looking Awesome screaming down the Half Mile at Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico!

Nitrous wasn't spraying properly, all that black smoke (rich combustion) is a sign of too much fuel. That explains the low trap speeds.

SUBTRACT This should make every bit of 1100hp with a 250-shot. Just wasn't working right that day due to whatever issues they were having. It be like that sometimes.

zr1 gained 500hp with just nos and meth injection. i doubt it too even though i don't know much about meth injection. 1000hp cars will easily do 180mph and up.
electric feel this car has waaaay more than that my friend. I've seen the dyno video of it. It has 1100whp. It already did 170+ without the nos kit but that day the nos was malfunctioning. It will do 180+ on the next 1/2 mile event.

Well, we're irritated by people making fun of her accent because at least she had the balls to do an interview in a language which is not her first, but she did it so people will understand. I've seen artists and musicians from the US come here and not even try to say a word in Spanish and the ones who do, suck at it but we appreciate their effort anyway. I am completely bilingual and it's exhausting to be conscious to hide the accent.

Let's keep in mind that a dedicated nitrous tune pulls a lot of timing. So if the nitrous system failed they'd be less powerful than before the kits.

Thats the Roll Race on May 7th, its a different event previously done at the 1/4 mile strip, but now it seems it is going to be a half mile race as well.
