This kinda reminds me of hellpoint when it first released. Lucky the devs for that game continued to develop and it turned out to be a good game. I hope the devs stick with polishing this game.
I was just going to comment that something about this game reminds me of Hellpoint. Maybe the main character design?
the best bits of this one were just ripped from elden ring/dark souls games. not inspired by, actual ripped. There is a monumental difference between the polished Dark Souls parts (animations are the most obvious, frame by frame identical) and the parts they made (those goofy running dummies), they absolutely do not have the experience or skill to polish their bits up to the level of the bits they took.
Be lucky if the game is even available for purchase 12 months from now let alone improved, if Fromsoft take a closer look at it.
I have zero issues with a small Dev team putting out a janky game but I have a massive issue when they think they can get away with charging 30 odd bloody pounds for such a janky mess
half the game was taken from Elden Ring (allegedly) so they charged half the price, makes sense right? :P

I know one thing - when I get a new game I’m totally into, I am playing the hell out of that game nonstop… I don’t spend a shitload of time trying to convince others on UA-cam and Steam etc. that it is a great game when they say it isn’t (as if everyone’s senses are betraying them). Lmfao. Whether you were paid to promote this dungheap, given a free copy to promote it, or were an investor, or are friends/family of the dev - you aren’t fooling anyone with the script.

Seriousness aside, I find it funny they turned Voldemort into any enemy in this game lol
WolfheartFPS said it took him 45min to set up the game so that it ran smoothly. Initially, he tried controller but it felt off, so he ended up using Keyboard/Mouse, but the default key bindings were all weird. Said combat was smoother than Outwards, but not as good as Elden Ring or Souls.

12:33 This game didn’t have a budge of $30k though. They used at least over $90k, but are being shady about the exact amount now (they deleted their discord info about it). It was 31k kickstarter community, reported 30k from a indie dev grant + devs saying they puts $1000s of their own into it. The devs now hide how much exactly the grant money was for.
The movesets seems way too light imo. It feels floaty and janky at the same time. I'm gonna pass on that one.

Parry works fine, your doing it wrong lol. You just tap and release block and he swats his weapon to the side. There's a description in the key bind menu.
Imagine having to look at the key bind menu for mechanics beyond "which button does what".

I have to stop watching this the game is making me feel sick maybe the frame rate or the way the camera works. Only encountered this before when actually playing a game never when just watching a game online.

Do you not see how contradictory that is? Since when is gaming development a charity project for unfinished work being sold as finished work? How is this any different than a scam? It's a commercial product sold at a mid point price. Being made by a small team doesn't absolve anything of criticism, you can give it a little bit of leeway maybe. However, these devs appear to have played their full hand on aesthetics and forgot they need to make an enjoyable game.
It doesn't matter if it was made by 1 paraplegic with chronic fatigue syndrome, charging $30 for this and calling it a complete game is pretty much lying and bad faith
