I will be visiting Singapore next month. I found your channel when I searched for "How to use public transport in Singapore." Afterwards, I got hooked on your videos. Your videos are not only helpful but also presented in an interesting style, which made me more hyped about exploring the culture, food, and diversity in Singapore. Thanks for the awesome content, man! Keep smiling - that's the beauty of your videos.
We were there in July and LOVED Singapore..sadly 6 days was not enough! Suggestion is to research first because the place is not really that expensive if you know how to get around (train and buses) Singapore you will know that it is really not that expensive - THANKFUL FOR HAWKERS! Walking would be the best thing to do because it lets you see how good and how clean the place is. Plus the honesty of the people is truly a blessing!
I fully agree!
i'd hate to eat out if there aren't any hawker centers hahah
i found Singapore to be very nice. I had a great time. The food at the hawker centers is great. I stayed in a hotel way out on the coast and paid a low price. The hotel had a shuttle bus to and from the airport. You can take the train anywhere from there. It doesn't need to cost fortune to go there.
Yay! Im glad you had a nice time :) Come back soon!
I'll be travelling to Singapore for a couple of days on my layover from Vietnam back home next month and am very much looking forward to it. Just researching what to do and visit has me so excited for this short trip. I really don't get how these people are so unprepared and uninformed before they travel to places.
yea it's like as if they only bought the ticket and show up
Was there the last two weeks, for the second time.
Took MRT and bus everywhere or walked.
Only one time took Grab because I overestimated my ability to handle the heat plus walking that day 😂
Hotel was maybe a bit more expensive (around 230 SGD/day) but was definitely worth it.
I think I have seen most tourist spots, but I still want to go back 😊
Singapore is just a beautiful country ❤
Yay! Im glad you had a good time :) come back soon!
Many more senior hawkers only know simple English. Hence when they response using simple words straight to the point, they may sound rude. They work more than 12 hours per day, many starting since the early mornings, it is hard work.
yea good point!
😂You are hilarious! I would never follow those ridiculous ignorant people. I enjoyed my time, can't wait to go back❤
hahahah yay!
We just came back from a 10 day trip to Singapore. We loved every moment. Yes, I researched first. We used MRT and buses to get around and the best thing about Singapore was the people. I took your advice and asked locals for help. They were amazingly helpful😍 thank you
Yay! Im glad you had a great time here :)
Hello the problem is that the videos come from spoilt kids, who regards themselves to be world travelers . I am from Europe and now live in a Thai area in Thailand. I say Europe as I have travel and lived in many countries of the world more than my home country. Traveling is amazing as you experience life and culture in many different countries and debunk the media crap you see in the news. In real life you are going to met different people who like you have moods both good & bad, busy working etc, So you cannot take a single experience and say that's the whole country. I find most tourist do not prepare themselves both physical and mentally for travel ... I see this in Thailand everyday .. I have been to Singapore it's amazing country, with so many experiences to embrace.. In Bangkok & Singapore like most major city's you can pay a premium to stay in the best hotels but you can find cheaper places if you research and most of the times better .. Case in point i pay 3,500 each mth for everything, where a beach condo i can clearly see from my window less than a km away can pay up 40,000 baht just for the rent and they live in a skyscraper ...
I don't pay that kind money for 2 months of my totally living expensive and live very well. Travel is great and very educational, the more you educated yourself the better your travel experience will be.
I really enjoy watching your videos about Singapore, thank you! I am heading over in late January, definitely not staying at a luxury hotel, and the only thing I am worried about is the humidity.
Thank you for your kind words! Have a fruitful trip ahead :)
Some TikTokers and UA-camrs are out to dramatise things to increase viewership and subscriber base. It's all for their selfish agenda.
Exactly
"Haiya" some of those TikToker comments would even make Uncle Roger put his leg down from chair!
his chair will break after watching this
We just got back from Singapore, we are already talking about our next trip! and even having to get a large private transfer to and from the airport (family of 4 with big bags!) was only $65 each way!
You can get to Legoland in Malaysia for $100! So no idea who she used for her transfer!
I know right 🤣🤣
I guess some of these TikTokers were just trying to show off how much they can effort to spend for their holidays. But instead it is a reflection of how irresponsible they were to their own pockets, and poor planner for their holidays. Another point is some travelers “hopping” but disappointed when they realized most service-providers in Singapore are not “just another Asian” who look up to them when serving them. I am not saying our service providers are right, but unfortunately most service-providers in Singapore don’t “bend their backs” when serving customers. For instant, where else do you see hawkers can have the choice to open only on selected days, or even selected hours?
Great debunking 🇸🇬
Hi, Love your vidoes ❤. We are planning a trip on christmas and new year. Would we be able to see the fireworks then? Please make more videos on itenary around that time.
Well done brother, 👍👍👍!
Love your videos we are coming for the first time in asia to visit Singapore you have been very helpful in the decision process to choose this beautiful city let’s hope with my french accent i can order quick enough so i don’t bother the auntie lol😂
Thank you for your love!! hahah if you don't look asian you'll definitely get more grace ;)
Have a fruitful trip ahead ^^
My first trip was from 13 to 16 September 2024 it was amazing beautiful awesome it's very nice country I love to get pr there and love to work there if any by chance 🎉
these are just rage-baiting post. I doubt they dislike Singapore given that the video they recorded and edited really shows how beautifully and artistically crafted.
In the first video, She did it for the clicks. For the other 2, it seems like they were here to "pick the bones"
or making up some meat hahahah
😂 I think you could have done better if you wanted defend, instead of just keep asking people to go hawker centres! e.g. You could have just searched in grab how much it costs to travel from airport to MBS as a prove that it doesnt cost $90! You could have found examples of most affordable hotels which are not hostel level but decent and affordable. Also, I don’t really understand how you kind of acknowledged there is no natural substances in Singapore. There a lot of nature reserve parks, rainforests, mangrove forests etc and a lot of wild animals like otter, peacocks etc in the city. Your video didn’t really help defending much in my opinion as a Singaporean 😅 perhaps you need more substances in the first place
That's some very good pointers you raised!!
From my understanding, tourists coming to Singapore are disappointed at the lack of GRAND-scale nature attractions. In my opinion, in the first place nature-spots are not Singapore's main selling point anyway, so don't be expecting something that's not the main strength to begin with. For example, if you go to a fruit shop, don't complain that you cant find bread.
I think you need to take the opinions of Americans travelling with a generous pinch of salt. Their ignorance of other cultures and sense of entitlement always comes out.
❤❤
Thank you for the love!
singapore is a good country it is very cool and Hawker centre Food is good but there are less vegetarian options I should tell that It should keep more vegetarian option other wise everything is so cool and good country
Ahhh yea we are too hungry we eat everything hahah
Bro, SG is not for everyone n we r not perfect. Frankly, some tourists have high expectations for SG after watching crazy rich Asians. Lack of natural beauty is a common comment for tourists coming from large countries like usa canada even china. Not all tourists do their homework and understand geography well. Singapore is so small and compact yet we can be so green and city is well planned. Visitors will still find comfort n space. Not all our service providers are polite. We can certainly improve on that. But, generally we are doing better vs other asian cities. SG is still cheap for restaurant food comparing with big cities in the west. Easy bro !
cant agree more!!
I don't understand why you're justifying yourself to certain influencers. Especially to some people from North America-they often seem unaware of what's going on in the world.
Im not sure what you mean by justifying
My intent was to address the misrepresentation of Singapore that was spread from their tiktok ^^
Do you mean to say explaining? Justifying is not the correct word.
@@dashingheights There's no need to explain or defend Singaporeans against misinformation, especially when it comes from those who seem uninformed.
@@TequilaMario You seem to take issue with him addressing the misinformation spread by those influencers.
no money do not come to Singapore. nobody forced u to come.
hahah have money also spend on better value stuff!
@@dashingheights - have money go to Gaza and Iran
Please lah.. if you use TikTok you already know you don’t need context.. you’re scrolling for the visual and sensational kicks.. take ur time slowly debunking the TikToks ah.. lol
