Definitely caught my attention to see you doing a video in the place I grew up! I have to have crossed that bridge a few hundred times, though my parent's house was over toward the Mt. Pleasant area so not as often as the rotating drawbridge further up the canal.
Welcome aboard! Biggest challenge is probably docking with a strong current or wind when there's no one on the dock to catch my lines. Are you planning on soloing on the Loop?

It's a really nice area. I really liked the park by the free dock just south of the bridge. Great place to walk my pups.
