Anthony Bourdain in Pattada

Anthony Bourdain visits the little village of Pattada in Sardinia. He witnesses the making of a "Resolza", a typical sardinian shepherds knife, by Salvatore Fogarizzu.
This footage was excluded from the original No Reservations episode. I think it was a big omission.

Beautyful to see how these knifes are made the old way. I have two of these in my collection. a larger one and a smaller one. Both are razor sharp and a joy to use when cutting food.

Haha after being told some things take all day to make he starts clanking the shears together at 2:05. She must've been dying inside while trying to remain polite. Great series, Bourdain is a very sad loss to the world.
