In this video we are going to discuss about the various causes of sperm leakage in the urine or the common semen leakage problem most men face.
Sperm leakage in the urine is fairly common among most men and causes a great deal of distress to a man. A large proportion of men seem to complaint about losing sperm in the urine and report feeling greatly tired, exhausted and also believe their fertility is reduced. This condition of sperm leakage associated with the subjective feeling of exhaustion, fatigue and tiredness is seen in a condition called Dhat syndrome. For these men often treatment of the sperm leakage issues can help in improving their overall wellness. However, for most men, the most common causes of sperm leakage in the urine is seen when men pass urine after ejaculation or sexual intercourse
A recent study done on 5005 men suggested that in reality just over 5% of men actually have sperm in their urine or semen leakage with urine. Also among the sperm leakage causes, diabetes mellitus seems to be the top cause of semen leakage in urine. Treating the diabetes often helps. Furthermore, the use of some medications have also been associated with sperm leakage in the urine. These medications are drugs like antidepressants and drugs given for voiding issues.
Another cause of sperm leakage issue is a condition called retrograde ejaculation. In this condition, which is associated with severe male infertility, semen goes backward into the bladder instead of coming out forward. Retrograde ejaculation has to be ruled out in patients who have a sperm leakage problem.
