They both look great here. After such a rough period for both of them in their personal lives (Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer, Dawn and Lenny Henry got a divorce), I do hope things will get better for them really soon. They are so funny and talented: I wish them all the best.
They're hardly old! They both look great, especially Jen, she's stunning!Their last tour at drury lane was hilarious! Still I hope that will mean we'll see more from them!
I was just thinkin' a few days ago about how much I wanted to watch a new interview with Jen and Dawn with Parkinson (I didn't even know there was one, I just wished for one) and here you go uploadin' it just like that! Just the day after! We are so connected... ^^ Cheers, thanks a lot!
ou can get box set off ebay... or somewhere like zavvi.. its only bout £30 now.. I have it and I love it but probably watch it too much.... Jen is amazing love her
@KidsWithGuns1992 And I think it consists of better acting on the actors part, because instead of reading lines off a script they sort of incorporate it more into their own sort of thing and express the comedy physically.
I think it's true though, the English seem to have more observational humor then straight out jokes like the Americans. Personally I prefer the English humor type stuff, reminds me a lot of the old Aussie comedy that used to be on television like Kath and Kim, Fast Forward or Big Girls Blouse, that sorta stuff.
the best ever comedies were sitcoms like 'Man about the house' 'George and mildred' 'keeping up appearances' most other sitcoms rely heavily on people making funny faces and screaming and jumping and falling around to create a comic effect, with hardly any intelligent humour in words or dialogues. for eg Absolutely fabulous and the rubbish ones by Miranda hart. i prefer actual wit to clowny behaviour
