the irony when this video is censored. lol this editor sucks.
bensonq love the "i swear" benson!
it was All-4-You
*Gasp*
Benson does not suck. >:(
bensonq the bleep is honestly useless lol WHO IS THE EDITOR I WONDER
This is so funny because the jk crew were just talking about how they feel weird swearing around wong fu in a recent video lol
which video?
I need another JK and Wong Fu collab
It's called "People Who Swear Are More Honest!"around the 6:30 mark haha
JK is run by a bunch of thugs and posers.
Iam Sam oh relax. jk is fam just like wong fu is fam. only difference is jk is the blacksheep
Taylor stealing a Jenn joke literally one episode after he was exposed is too good 🤣🤣🤣
Have I just been liking Jenn's sense of humor this whole time....?
It's possible.
yes I'm hilarious tyvm
"I haven't used dick in a long time" - Philip Wang, 2017 (I'm crying)
But he uses his Wang constantly
Nabeela Ali "i feel like dick"- Phillip Wang
**** this **** y'all *************
pwangs censoring unnecessary words
Watch it Phil
I'm a *
pwangs "just put it wang , REALLY BIG" 😂
pwangs shut the front door, wang
jenn is too pure for you all
lunch break makes my thursday ten times better
hahahah hi reagan
Vivian Zheng heyyy viv :)
Proof that Taylor is a joke stealer.
FOR ALL TO SEE!!
Omg Taylor does steal Jenn's jokes.
🎶 "I swear" 🎶 reminds me of running man 😂 #jisukjin
uwhenling OMG THAT WAS ME
I really miss the old episodes
OOOOOHHH! THAT'S Where I know that song from. hahahaha
YES LOLOL
I WAS THINKING OF RM THE MOMENT THEY SAID IT!!! LMFAO
The fact that Taylor stole a joke from Jenn on camera makes her fun fact video even better haha
When asked about the first swearing video I instantly thought about Ted's Best Man Friend when Wes swore. I remember laughing so hard at that part!
OH YEAH! That might've been the first time we swore on WF.. but we censored it! lol
I thought the first time you swore was in "Just a Nice Guy;" in that one scene where your character is trying to act cool to impress the girl, and she's telling you to watch your language.
pwangs I thought the first time was the hk one days short with the British cantonese speaking guy.
Maybe THAT was the first time. "To Those Nights" might've been the first F-bomb?
the one in the HK days, "two true" and the one in the best man video both used the F-bomb
I appreciate how clean Wong Fu videos are. I personally would rather not hear cursing so these videos always brighten my day.
I 100% agree :) But I can't help the cuteness of Jenn's embarrassed expression in this whole video. She is so pure and cute :) Wong Fu girls are really exemplary girls ^^
Haha phil's using chopsticks while everyone is using forks 😆
FLOWER BRIDGE :x
HAHAHAHAHAHA
fa qiu
LOL
OMG. This was one of the swear words back in elementary school! How nostaglic~ People got in trouble saying it.
OMG i felt for that so many times @_@ and the thing is, is that I've never sworn in my life...like I literally DO NOT swear
Career goals = Wong Fu Productions!
I love the fact that you guys do everything clean. It is so refreshing to have entertainment like this in a world and internet where explicitness is everywhere and often present uninvited; where stand up comedy is more often than not about shock value to the point of numbing the very audience they seek to shock and titillate. Keep it going guys, the world needs more like you all.
I live for lunch break videos 😩 and can we just talk about how amazing Phil looks right now?!
The best part of my Thursdays is watching Lunch Break and the worst part of my Thursdays is trying to time when I should buy my food to eat with you guys!
It's all about code switching--using formal, polite language most of the time, and loosening language barriers with close friends. For me, it's not appropriate to swear at work, with elders or people I don't know well. It would be shocking for me to swear at work, church or big family gatherings...but not shocking if I were out with my best friends.
For WongFu, this is your work--I think it's reasonable to avoid swearing in general, if it would upset your audience. (But I'll still love and respect you guys! This made me laugh.)
I just subbed and I binge watch all the lunch break episodes for 2 days. I'm glad I found this channel :)
I sweaaaar 🎶 "immediately thinks of Seokjin from running man"
i miss christine's water bottle.. i tried to click on that black one but it doesn't feel the same..
I really appreciate that you mostly keep it out of your videos. I don't swear. Its how I was raised and I just don't see the point. Not even in anger. It use to not bother me to hear it but since I became a mom its a really big issue. Most people think its no big deal and just words but I can remember when swearing in public was considered disrespectful. Now no one cares and your the weird one for not.
wes being all quite then saying they go hand in hand. I literly paused the video I was laughing so hard😂😂
When they played that song it reminded me of Ji Suk Jin. Anyone else?!?!?!
Taylor!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I definitely prefer it when you guys don't swear- it's so refreshing, we're already surrounded by horrible language everywhere!!!! One of the reasons I love your videos is because it tends to be genuinely meaningful. You don't need swear words to make it more so- in fact it tends to detract!! Please don't swear to be mainstream WongFu!!!!!
LMAO "CRAP" *SLAP* haha i love you taylor #tayisbae
I had to wait for this to start eating my dinner. Thursday dinner is the highlight of my week. Greetings from Germany!
I personally don't swear. I feel its unnecessary. I don''t see why people do. I have friends that swear, and I'm still friends with them, of course, but I just don't like when ppl swear. I tell them "watch your mouth!" haha I'm such a mom.
Melissa Lopez I only swear if I'm angry or in pain and it actually helps. In some studies they showed that swearing helps tolerate pain.
Melissa Lopez when people tells me to not swear, I tell them to get the fuck away from me. usually solves the problem
I'm the same, Melissa. But I don't mind as much with other people swearing anymore. And as for those studies that show that swearing helps with pain, that's only if you have a cognitive bias of swearing being a pain reliever which is a popular thought so it works for the majority of people. For someone who doesn't swear, it's not effective. (I'm silent when I hurt myself, never understood why people make any sounds)
I'm the same, I don't swear, to me it feels wrong, but I don't tell off others who do.
Hey you Yeah, I just jokingly say "watch your mouth!" with my friends. lol Not all the time tho. But yeah, I get what you mean and I agree.
1.) I don't typically swear and I try to avoid euphemisms for swearing. I do this because I believe my choice of words in my culture is part of my representation of my faith. And I do it because I believe there are plenty of apt words to express what I want to say. But it's more the representing my faith thing. 2.) I don't believe there are "bad words"-- societies shift meanings of words and gestures all the time. The intention behind words is far more important. However, the words a society chooses as swear words are shortcuts for communicating those associated thoughts/feelings. So I avoid the shortcuts. 3.) The only time I get annoyed by a random person swearing is if it's excessive. That's just shock value at play, in my mind. Lazy shock value. And that's irritating. 4.) I do teach my children not to use certain words, but I explain WHY. I also teach them not to use any word they aren't familiar with, because word choices are important for clear communication.
The End. lol
I honestly don't think it's necessary to curse. I feel like there are better ways to express your emotions instead of using foul language and I'm really grateful that Wong Fu produces clean content. No shade to ppl that do curse but that's just my opinion.
Ohmmgeez Wes, your "they go hand in hand" joke was so unexpected! 😳😂🤣 I am still shook, Mr. Chan!
I honestly had the same reaction as Jenn at 9:55
Yeaaah Lunchbreak ^o^
seems like a good excuse for midnight-chips-snacking!
thank you Wong Fu :)
I have grown to love you guys so much! So much fun....I'm dying to receive my merch that I ordered even tho summer is pretty much over for the east coast but SO STOKED! love u guys and your videos main channel and this one❣️
I swear like the moon & the stars in the skyyyyyyyyyyyy
I really think this conversation is so valid in my work place because EVERYONE at my job cusses but they're also all over 50 but it causes me to cuss a lot more...but you guys have got me thinking about it now...because it seems like such a norm but i think I'm going to be more self conscious about it after listening to this conversation.
I never knew I needed Wong Fu swearing in my life. I love this video so much
Seriously who is the one that is editing in the graphics? this is the second video something has popped up and just made me bust out laughing. Great timing, and great humor.
This is my first comment on your videos as I have been a fan since your original short "yellow fever" was shared publicly. I have followed your work and do appreciate the effort to keeping the content at a G rating as I know I can freely share your videos to colleagues and friends without concern that there may be offensive or lewd material that has increased in media. I also believe that whatever I share is a representation of my views. Thanks for the warnings in videos when offensive terminology is used. I hope that this type of content continues to be kept at a minimum. Thanks from a Long time fan!
I like how Wes wasn't bleeped lol
mee too
The editing on these are always on point
The notion "you're soft if you don't swear" hit me dude. Preach Wes! Love it love it LOVE iT! ^__^
I TOTALLY GET IT the most irritating pet peeve I have is when someone says "ooh u sweared" I totally get this video bc it's legit just a four letter word, like I don't swear a lot but you don't have to be so surprised when I say them, I personally think yeah, they should be included in scripts and songs because they express stronger emotions other words can't haha- and CENSORSHIP, like I feel like just muting the video while the word is being said would be more useful than bleeping it - sorry for the rant i just find this video so relatable
That's an interesting pet peeve because I don't mind people telling me not to swear or when they're surprised and I very rarely swear but I can see how that could get annoying. I see what you mean when you say that swear words would depict a stronger emotion but since so many people swear nowadays and you hear those swear words so often, I think it's much stronger if people do not use swear words to express their emotions. It's just about bringing back what is rare now. It's the same idea with swearing when you're angry if you rarely swear.
I never actually noticed that Wongfu's videos never had any cursing, probably because almost everything I watch doesn't have any. This makes them even more lovable~ they are seriously so amazing~
i remember when i said "pissed off" casually in 3rd grade once and the entire class, including the teacher, gasped and i had no idea why until my classmate said that "pissed" was a curse word.
one of the most memorable awkward moments ever.
You guys are the best seriously! lol
There was an episode of jknews where Bart said he feels like he's contaminating your souls when he swears near you guys.
THIS MADE ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE LOL but I love it
Pottermore sorting quiz would be awesome for Lunch Break!!!! :D
I was waiting for lunch break! Even though it's like midnight here "midnight snack!"
I love Jenn! She's so sweet and innocent, I adore it ❤
Also, the fact that Wong Fu puts swear words in their videos makes it more.... "human." It becomes more relatable in a sense, y'know?
I am one of those people in the comments who admires your (entire Wong Fu crew's) niceness, classiness and nice manners above all other qualities of yours! ^^ But in one video of yours you had let me down! :( :P
And no it's not this video or other videos where you swear, that's all ok because you don't do it often and we all swear sometimes...The actual video that I will never forgive you for is that twerking video!!! I still love you Wong Fu, but I will NEEEEVAAAAH FORGIVE YOU FOR THAT ONEEEE! :PPPP I'm so glad the Wong Fu girls didn't do the twerking dance! :) Props to the classy ladies of Wong Fu! ;)
-Big Wong Fu fan from Serbia :)
now I'm gonna be singing 'I swearrrr~' for the rest of the day😂
I swear to much I try to cut back but it's a good way to express your feelings
When I was in high school i never swore, i just didn't think it was necessary.
Now when I'm comfortable with my friends or I'm telling a story that I'm really invested in i swear quite often. I try to curb it in professional environments though.
I swear quite a bit but the first time I felt the weight of a 'wong fu' swear was in Untouchable. It held so much value because you guys never do lol. Also all these i swear jokes but no mention to SISTAR's i swear.
I personally don't swear much, so I'm quite similar to Jenn. I only use it when I'm extremely angry and frustrated but even so, I try not to do it.
I do appreciate that Wongfu produces clean content most of the time. And I do understand the use of it in your shorts but nevertheless, I'm glad that the cussing doesn't come out needlessly and your videos are something that I can watch comfortably :)
Taylor cracking up at his own jokes gives me life
I really appreciate that you guys don't swear, and that you put the warnings on vids that have it. I really can't take people seriously when half of their words are expletives.
*Don't swear frequently
shout out to that P.M. Dawn reference Jenn! Then two MORE times by Taylor. LOL
What about that ancient video called bad directions on your channel Phil? Don't swear, eat ice cream and skip is actually great advice xD
since english is not my first language i had to look up 'wang', look what ive learned from you 😂
jen is too sweet
now i could finally start my lunch :)
jenns face at 9:53 is priceless LOL
I look forward to lunch break every week
Haha whenever Phil cursed he gets beeped but when Wes said bitch it didn't 😂😂😂
for some reason the thing that I was most taken aback by was Wes protesting that they're not "soft"...I was like whoa
i don't swear either, and I've never met anyone else really who doesn't so this is uplifting! i agree, i have nothing (for the most part) against people who do but personally i don't see any need. there are definitely times where I feel like a curse would be really great or appropriate (ironically, it's usually in a comedic moment) but i just don't
I usually just swear whenever I fucking want lmao
Over the years I've learn that there are more words to express yourself beyond swear words.
I just spent 3 hours binge-watching old Lunch Break videos. F**k!
I only say bad words under my breath when I am mad, upset, or frustrated. When I was younger a lot of kids always pushed me to say things like the f-bomb which was really weird.. xD
As for WongFu saying bad words, I always assumed that they say them in their personal lives, but noticed that they do not really feature it in their videos. I respect any way they choose to create dialogue for their work! :D
I work in a office environment and I burst out laughing 😂
Throughout the entirety of this video I had "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" repeating in my head
I think this was my first time watching Lunch Break and actually eating lunch while watching it. anyway, this was an enlightening conversation about a topic I have my own thoughts and opinions on. basically, there's a time and place for everything, especially when it comes to cursing. If you are going to curse, MEAN IT.
taylor's "i sweaaar" at the end hahahha
i watch lunch break every thursday when i eat dinner lmao
All through high school I didn't swear...I felt uncomfortable using swear words...but then I started university...most people swear every other word and it's hard not to be a reflection of what is around you...needless to say I am no longer uncomfortable...although, admittedly I still save addressing people as certain swear words for when how effective my words are matter.
im laughing so hard, they just talked about how taylor steals jenn's jokes in her 20 facts video, and how we see it in action
Wong Fu for life!
I watch youtube on my TV with a not so good HDMI cord that cuts out sometimes. And it cut it right in the beginning of the video, so it was like the HDMI cord censored Phil for me 😂😂😂😂
there should be a short about a swearing intervention like the PDA sketch. but this can be a comedy sketch. 😜
I love to those nights!!! When I watched it for the first time I was like there's swear words!! Something new and moreeee!! Lol
I Swear is my go to karaoke song! Appreciate the reference! : )
I never swore until about last year which made me use it more often. I try to not use it for as much as I can but I use other words like crap, shoot and such. At a school camp once we were doing the burma trail and I said I was gonna swear and everyone was surprised lol.
Putting "Wang" big also fits since it could mean king 😂
I swear by the moon and the stars in the skyyyy
Lunch break topic: past spring break trips growing up to college years!!!!!
8:29 That onomatopoeia *bless predictive for texting*
...started bursting our laughing out loud tho... 😶
I didn't know that it was a thing but I save my swears!!! Hahahha I say: fish cake.
Whenever I'm angry cause it's the combination of F and 鸡蛋糕
Creativity :) hehe
Is no one going to question how Phil is the only one using chopsticks and everyone is using forks? XDD Phil, Do you keep a pair of chopsticks in the office because they don't look like the kind they give in takeouts LOL
I swear so often, that I can't even use volume to emphasize my anger anymore. I just get really quiet and do a death glare.
Nice song edit Benson!
you can see jenn die a little every time somebody swears and I CAN RELATE GIRL
i like how the last fourth of the video stops getting censored lmao
I was actually just thinking about something like this last night... I am a teacher abroad and I am with a lot of young teachers that cuss like there's no tomorrow. I personally don't swear, and when I have... it's usually for humor. I just think it's easier not to. Then you don't have to adjust your speech when you're talking to elders and those who are younger, you know? But I am kind of like Taylor as well... there's that little bit of guilty feeling that comes after swearing. I wonder though how other people perceive the fact that I don't swear. It's amazing the judgements people have on someone who doesn't swear or sleep around. I feel like there is a little bit of a "what's wrong with you" stigma or something like that. I could be way off though :) Some people have told me they really respect my lifestyle.
Tbh i was mainly focused on the moving palm tree in the window
it's much mesmerizing
Lol is this a response to JKNews where they said they feel bad when they swear around Wongfu?
Pietyali people who swear are more honest video around 6:30
Thanks dude! Much appreciated.
"If you're a kid, do not watch Game of Thrones." Too late, for like, years. You're years late. XD
0:08 does anyone know how to zoom in onto someone just like Taylor getting zoomed in?
I use Final Cut Pro and I'm a beginner, so I want to learn that!
