The saddest part of Titanic for me is the scenes where the boat is filling up with water, and there is an old couple in bed just waiting together. and then there is a mother putting her children to bed, knowing they're all going to drown. :( :( :( ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... now im sad
i watched the movie "To Live" about a family going through the Chinese Cultural Revolution about three times, and cried for each one. now every time i eat a vegetable bun 菜肉包, i get reminded of the mantou scene and my parents and start tearing up. also i love vegetable buns.
"After us" gets me every time. A story of heartbreak and recovery that is so relatable, which you guys captured in such a captivating way. Still one of my favorites! 😊
The end of the Harry Potter and Halfblood Prince movie made me cry so hard...especially when everyone started raising their wands combined with the music.
Evelyn Sando And the fact that selfish human nature is the ultimate antagonist of the story is just so real and dark... That one scene (we all know which one lbr) made our entire cinema burst into tears
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas the ending came so fast it was just unexpected & it caught me off guard I just sat crying through the credits trying to process what I just watched. It kind of reminded me of when I read Of Mice & Men in high school did not see that ending come either I didn't cry at that but the shock factor was there for sure.
MIRACLE IN CELL NO. 7 LEFT ME SAD FOR A WHOLE WEEK. I'll be fine and dandy one morning and then the scene when the dad gets pulled off to execution with his daughter yelling after him from behind the cell plays in my head and im just like "im fine :'D"
+Shernice Sim lol I tried so hard not cry so I basically held it in And then that scene killed me I was crying even throughout the credits I was so torn up .. I even watched the credits Like maybe he'll come back Maybe it's a dream This is too cruel
Your Lie in April! I cried several times watching that. It's really relatable especially if you've played a musical instrument before. Big Hero 6 was a memorable one for me especially when Hiro was watching Tadashi's video. Also the whole Kung Fu Panda trilogy gets me in the feels because I love all the self-identity and discovery moments. SO GOOD!!!
To Wes: Good to know you liked "Farewell My Concubine 霸王别姬", which gave you some idea what your parents' and grandparents' generations went through. I'd like to recommend another classics "To Live 活着" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Live_(1994_film) . Hope you like it too.
The Little Princess, Brave Little Toaster, Time Traveler's Wife, Interstellar, and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (Tom Hanks!) all got me in tears.
If you want to cry from sadness and at the same time laugh, you should watch Click by Adam Sanders. It was totally unexpected and it has been one of the best feelings that i have felt.
The Wong Fu short that made me cry was Untouchable. It really related to me, along with the situation. Here some honorable mentions (which are also my favorites) Somewhere Like This, The Places We Should Have Gone, and Untouchable. You guys really do a great good on all your videos! Keep up the great work! Also do you guys have a PO Box???
I've never read the book, but that movie was so epic to me as a kid. . . How can Taylor not know this movie? Maybe it wasn't as popular with those born in the 90s?
wong fu stuff that's made me cry where do i even begin: strangers again, the last, somewhere like this, everything before us, the places we should have gone, shell, when five fell, untouchable, from here on out...the list goes on but seriously its not necessarily because the short or topic was sad that made me cry but a lot of the times im just so moved by how you guys connect with human emotions that it makes me emotional XD keep it up and ill keep the tears coming
The movie that I cried the most for was the Korean movie "Miracle in Cell No. 7" I could not stop sobbing for at least 15 minutes after the movie ended 😭😭😭
Wes I totally feel you on Farewell My Concubine! Most movies about that tumultuous time in China get me sobbing because it's so overwhelming to be confronted with all the difficulties our parents and grandparents went through.
I bawled like crazy to the point where I had a hard time breathing from watching Werewolf Boy and Clannad After Story. I never knew I was capable of crying so much till I watched those two. I haven't had the courage to rewatch them again but I highly recommend them both ♡
Land Before Time. It was the first movie I remember seeing (4 yrs old) and tears were streaming down my face. I feel like it was the foundation of who I am today. Actually, Land Before Time, Fruits Basket, One Piece, Harry Potter, and even Ouran Highschool. I'm glad I saw them prior to my mom's unexpected death(I was 15yrs old, 10 yr cancer battle on/off, the last week was sudden and unexpected.), they really helped me get through the sad dark times, like friends saying "we've been through the same thing, you can get through this too."
That's why Naruto is such a good anime in my opinion. It takes you through their childhood all the way to adulthood and shows you what they go through. I really don't understand why people hate on Naruto. I feel like the people who call out others for being weaboos just like to act cool and hate on the popular stuff (e.g., Naruto).
You, guys, are the people I would enjoy to hang out with) you literally mentioned movies that I so love) and the way you discuss it - I wish I could also have such discussions with people I like)
Fault In Our Stars. That was probably the first movie I ever cried in the theater AND with a whole group of friends. We were all crying. And we all were so emotional we sat in the theater until the credits ended and the lights came on for the janitor to clean up. We ended up going on a ice cream trip after to cheer ourselves up LOL
In Oh My Venus when Kim Young Ho saves Jang Soon Jung from being hit by the car and he lands everything happening in that episode basically. That episode just got but also a couple others. Such a good drama, oh my
I always cry when I watch WWII movies. Life is Beautiful makes me sob. Once I cried for an hour straight after watching The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and the next day my eyes were so swollen and red! I was in HS at the time and my mom didn't let me watch WWII movies for a while after that. And as far as Wong Fu goes, The Last always touches my heart and makes me cry. It's one of my faves, if not my fave!
"Little Manhattan" made me cry so much. Poor little Josh Hutcherson T_T Also all the dog movies where the dog shows their unwavering friendship and loyalty but ultimately dies because of it. T_T Question for Wong Fu Production. Which is more gratifying, being able to cause a fan to tear or filling a fan with joy and laughter?
the ending to the 5th hp movie always kills (straight up bawling) me, earl, and the dying girl's last scene also really gets me (more bc of the music than the plot) can I also say I cry when I realize theres no new wongfu videos to binge? LOL
Not even the movie necessarily, but the soundtrack to Jurassic Park always makes me cry, or come close to crying. The part where the music swells and they see the dinosaurs in the movie is just so inspiring I want to cry. John Williams is so good
i love this so much, btw the video that you guys made which i know many would say is, strangers again, that really made me cry. in fact, it was the first video i watched from you guys right after i broke up with my ex, lmao TMI, but yeah, love you guys, make more vids like this!
Remember the Titans and Glory Road, along with Forest Gump are classic movies that I will always cry over! But I find it really awesome that you guys are open with our emotions and how you feel!
Also, a non-movie that always makes me cry is that gum commercial where the guy draws moments of his relationship with this girl throughout the years. Idk why that commercial makes me cry (probably because of the song used and the cuteness of his gesture), but I can't help but tear up every time it comes on, lmfaoo
My grandfather lost his family in WW2. He always told me stories of war. So when I saw grave of fireflies, I cried for hours thinking abt what he went through. Really really sad movie.
*Marley & Me!* and The Croods (3x) I used to cry in _every_ movie. I just recently convinced myself (while watching a kid's movie) that it would be okay and there would be a happy ending.
I was at work, shuffling through my phone and I ran across one of your short stories. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the name of it, but I cried so unexpectedly. Luckily enough my desk faces a window, so there wasn't any witnesses during my momentary leakage...lol Anyway, one of my all time favorites is Brave Heart as well, when giving the pep talk to the men as he says "you can take my life, but you can't -take -my freeeeeedom". Lines are for dramatic effect... lol Keep up the great work, hat's off to you 🎩
Up! is always the first film I think of when I think of crying at films. I saw 7 Pounds at the cinema, and remember I was still crying in the car park. The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, Testament of Youth, Dear John in the scene with his dad... The Pianist. Sheesh, what doesn't make me cry?! 😂
I totally forgot about Iron Giant! and So many WongFu videos make me cry. The score in Single By 30 that plays in the end doesn't bring tears but it feel it in my heart!
Pursuit of Happiness! When Will Smith and Jaden locked themselves in the bathroom so they can have a place to stay. A couple tears came running down my face
12 Years of Slave! In the end when the dad returns and the first thing he could only say to his family after being kidnapped for 12 years was "Forgive me." Yup cried like a baby.
things that make me cry *if done really well* are parent\child bonds and teacher-mentor\student-pupil bonds. gets.me.every.single.freakin.time!! i've rarely cried at a movie (once, or twice..... just for the benefit of the doubt) but all the other times are either books, anime or manga. anyone who reads books or manga, or watches anime, knows that shit can get REAL emotional when it comes to those concepts! 9_9
Grave of the Fireflies. I cried from the beginning all the way through to the end. I dehydrated myself watching that movie. I haven't watched it again since the first time because I can't to that to myself again.
The saddest part of Titanic for me is the scenes where the boat is filling up with water, and there is an old couple in bed just waiting together. and then there is a mother putting her children to bed, knowing they're all going to drown. :( :( :( ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... now im sad
That part makes me bawl, it's so sad.
Yessss! And the scene when the irish mother is bringing her kids to sleep...
or the scene when the captain went back to his cabine, facing his death

Chantelle Alcantara Right??? None of them deserved their ultimate fate to be honest. It was terribly depressing to watch.
Shernice Sim ikr!!! Tbh the movie is actually opening the eyes of the viewer too that this is actually happening in the real world .... Argghhh
The wong fu short that made me cry is After Us 😭 That really hit me close to home. People who are going through a break up should really watch this.

They nailed the final arc. But the movie is in a way inspired by A Christmas Carol now that I think.
The Wong Fu short that made me cry was Untouchable. It really related to me, along with the situation. Here some honorable mentions (which are also my favorites) Somewhere Like This, The Places We Should Have Gone, and Untouchable. You guys really do a great good on all your videos!
