Not even just that, the lack of true snorkels is what I’m concerned about. Replace the rack and pinion is a lot cheaper then a bent rod or spun bearings lol
Surprised more of your vehicles don't use snorkels, not just for water but to lift the intake higher to keep it clear of the dust, its why you see them being used in desert conditions, makes a huge difference to the life of the air filter.

That and the air intake points straight up under the front right side of the hood. Gotta submerge the hood for more than a couple seconds before it will start sucking in water.

Wonder how many of these have the breathers for their axles and transmissions up high enough to where no water is being sucked in.

it usually wont effect the breathers too much if your moving through the water. when you stop though its over lol

Just because you have a snorkel doesn't mean you can still go in deep water. There's way more to it than just that.
