I have class (I’m in school to get my real estate license) but when I get home I’m gonna get a snack , a lil drinks and enjoy your video 😂 it’s like how I unwind at night instead of watching tv I just watch my fav UA-cam videos . To keep carrots 🥕 you can get a mason jar and add a little water
You should actually soak them in water. If you change the water like every two days, they will be fresh and extra crunchy for weeks 😊
You can put doos patato’s in your garden! It works!
I put my carrots in a glass container lined with a paper towel

Store your carrots in a mason jar full of water! I just change the water any time we get some out. That’s like every day or two for us.

If you’ve been craving cold oatmeal, I recommend Oats Overnight. They’re a little pricy but it’s not bad considering they have protein shake mix in them as well. I do not work for them lol I just really like them. They keep me full all morning and they’re great before a workout.

For the carrots, my mum told me the other day to put them in a container , (glass is better if you have one ) with a very small amount of water , you might have to keep topping up the water us as they will soak it up. they should stay fresh for about a month .

I wash them when I get them home like you would your other fruits and veggies. Then put them in airtight container

Oh NOOOOO don’t throw away the carrots 😭😭😭😭😭 White crusty carrots are not bad! They are just dehydrated, and you can hydrate your baby carrots by rinsing them or soaking them in some cool water for a minute or two! I never hydrate mine, I just eat them with the white stuff and they taste fine 🤪
Good to know!! The kids won’t eat them when they look like that though haha

Carrots in a Ziploc bag works well. I keep hearing it’s not good to buy shredded cheese-should buy block and shred ourselves. Have you heard that?
I’ve heard it improves the taste yes and I’m sure it has less ingredients than bag cheese since bag cheese is meant to last longer! To be honest… I don’t think I’ll ever buy cheese and shred it on my own unless I’m making special Mac and cheese or something!! Lol
Snacks and toiletrie restock always adds up … my hands are soo dry too!! Every winter they crak! I use neutrogena hand lotions
Especially toilet paper & paper towels..crazy how much money we spend to wipe our own butts then throw it away 🙃 I’ve tried soooo many lotions from big name brands and this oatmeal one from Aldi is the only one that had actually worked for me! No cracking or bleeding yet this year 🤞🏻

why don’t you go to sam’s club get more for your money?
It’s not really worth it to me. The drive is about 30 minutes. We like a lot of the Aldi brand also and are used to it. I like that all their items are dye free and affordable. I also HATE big stores and really love Aldi because of its layout and minimal choices. I compared most of the things we use the most sams/costco vs Aldi and it just doesn’t seem worth it. Most of the things I buy are the same price at Sams. Don’t get me wrong some things are def worth it but just not what we like! Lol
I also shop at Aldi too for groccies for my family because Aldi is better and cheaper than Walmart Hy-Vee fareway and target

Here’s a little more info on it.
Maple syrup also contains minerals (K, Ca, Mg, Na, Mn, Al, Zn, Fe, etc.), vitamins (riboflavin, niacin, thiamine, etc.), amino acids (arginine, threonine, proline, etc.), organic acids (fumaric acid, malic acid, etc.), and phytohormones (abscisic acid and phaseic acid and their metabolites).1,3 A wide range of phytochemicals, most of which are phenolics (belonging to lignan, phenolic acid, stilbene, coumarin, and flavonoid subclasses) have also been identified in maple syrup.4−9 Apart from these chemical compositional studies on maple syrup, both in vitro and in vivo biological studies have been reported on this natural sweetener. For instance, animal studies suggest that pure maple syrup may have liver-protective effects10 and the ability to reduce plasma glucose levels compared to a sucrose solution alone.11 In addition, in vitro biological studies of phenolic-enriched maple syrup extracts suggest potential anticancer, antioxidant, α-glucosidase enzyme inhibitory, and anti-inflammatory effects.

True! I guess I’m just not used to getting household items at Aldi but honestly I’m gonna start more! It’s wayyyyyy cheaper and so much easier to get mostly everything at one store aside from a few other brand items I like!
