You explained that very well, Chris. That was very interesting and good too know. Thanks you explained it very well. Much love to you and Tammy, stay blessed❤😊
Thanks for the refresher course regarding the electoral college. Also, thank you for the NO POLITICS request. I need a place where there is no hate. Love you and Tammy. Good people.
Chris.. Thanks for explaining all of this-I will use this vlog to teach this to my grandchildren. No political comment from me other than to say-VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! It's a very important election-but they ALL are. I just pray that no matter who wins in Nov,that it's accepted, and we all pray for our homeland to be UNITED. If we continue traveling the road we are on now,not UNITED,nothing good can come from it. Nothing. 🙏💛💛🙏
I bet your students were well taught, and they loved your class. Thanks for the refresher. It was an excellent overall explanation. I hope everyone got inspired to go and vote.
It is surprising how many principles of democracy have actually never been decided, they could not come to an agreement before the constitution needed to be written and they have not been decided ever since. As a citizen and voter I need to refresh myself periodically reading the constitution, bill of rights and the amendments to keep all of the political talking points in their proper context. There is a lot of slick persuasion to navigate.
My problem with the Electoral College is it is not representative of the voters. For example: Minnesota, with a population of 5.74 million has 10 Electoral Votes. Rhode Island with 1.10 million has 4 Electoral Votes. Do the math and you come to the conclusion that one vote in Rhode Island counts more than one vote in Minnesota.
Simply put… we in the flyover states need electoral votes to keep both coast or the biggest population is from telling us what to do out here in Rural America. And we are tired of listening to just what they want done without regard from where their actual food source comes from!

You made understanding the process a little easier, whether we like it or not.
Thank you Chris I’m sure more than half of US citizens have not heard this

Good lesson this morning, sir 👍 I wonder if lessons like this are even being taught in America 2024? I hope so!
I recall them in middle school civics class, but I feel a whole lot of Americans take for granted democracy will always be here.
GOOD FOR YOU

Correct is is representative of the states not the voters
Is this taught in American schools?
Yes
Get out and vote!!!
The electoral is good for the balance of power. 😊
In what way does the individual votes help?
Their total determines what the state vote is going to be in the electoral college
Good morning Chris 😊❤ I've been busy Praying 🙏 for Israel 🇮🇱. ❤😊
