I remember when i got covid i discovered tomatos vods and just bindged vods while dying in bed! i remeber that i was also typing comments while delirious! good times goop bros!
I used to never watch streams until one time years ago when I got horribly sick and was basically bed-ridden for almost a month. I ran out of usual stuff to watch, and ended up somehow watching Vargskelethor Joel’s Oblivion stream vods. I think I ended up liking Tomato because they have a similar style of streaming. No webcam, full screen, and I like their senses of humor. Cool to see somebody else came upon this in a similar way.
If Tomato actually ran a Motel in the middle of nowhere, and it was my only choice. I would sleep in the forest on a fallen log covered in *Poison Ivy* before I rented his room :) But... Close enough so I can watch all the chaos unfold on unsuspecting travelers.
I started watching calm videogame simulation videos a month ago to help lower my stress. Tomato plays one of the same games and I'm laughing so hard that I hope it's not adding any stress because it's laughter. :) Jolly Roger was the UA-camrs I watched play this and he was surprised the dev put him in the game as a nod to him.
I like how Tomato is crazy and inventive whenever he plays a game, but when asked to name something, his brain turns to sludge and he forgets what words are.
1:00:00 I can't believe Tomato's in-game gramps was Agent 47 himself! No wonder he left Tomato with nothing and put the dumpsters in the middle of the lot; he wanted Tomato to practice his prop-throwing skills for when he has to discreetly assassinate someone staying at his motel. Such a caring and reasonable role model
Ooh that car at 2:31:18 is an electric Citicar/ Comuta-Car, they made them from '74 to '77 (And knock-offs from '79-'82) in response to the fuel crisis. I saw one once at a junkyard, they're weird as shit. The bumpers actually hold the batteries that power the car's 2-6hp motor.
1:44:13 "I'm gonna go knock on that lady's door and see if she's ready to vacate," *Pumps shotgun* "it's been about 12 hours ..." I really had to harness all my willpower to not unleash a mouthfull of coffee unto my keyboard when I heard that XD
I have recently discovered that if I want to have a good sleep I have to put tomatoes streams on as I fall asleep listening to it.... Is it normal or just me?
The doorception on the truck was just *chefskiss*. Just like with B movies, sometimes games are so jank that they become good again just for being so hilarious.
i love looking away and then back and hes totaly transformed a hotel room into a goblin den, and finds a way to make money off of it. 10/10 would watch it again
That was exactly my experience, i was playing a game with a friend and stopped paying attention and then when i look back theres a hotel room filled with an outlet spiderweb
As a 33 year old, I can't tell you how good of a move you are making by not drinking to get through work. It will ruin your life. You're going to go farther without it. Even if you have to be lucid through the embarrassment
For the record I use to drink to get through work. Or even when I wasn't working I was drinking. It started as a crutch and then drugs and alcohol to became the only thing I did or cared about.
@@jontee4free Considering you're talking in past tense, congrats for kicking that devilish habit. Must have been incredibly hard, but considering where that road leads, going clean really is the only way. (context: just two days ago I've come across an article about an elderly home for alcoholics, and it was a pretty grisly story. made me question why we're not treating that stuff like other drugs)
@@ddshiranui thank you, I appreciate that a lot! It has been my biggest challenge in life and it looks like a lot of other people deal with it too. I think there would be better than just homes or rehabs, but I don't know if we as people have a solution. I just don't think humans have evolved passed the point of substance abuse yet and there really isn't a better option than just getting through it. I've lost a lot of friends to substance abuse and I just have to be glad it didn't get me too

@@therealstarplatinum did you ever watch his old youtube channel? That's how I discovered Tomato around 2015
I love how his first instinct the second anything outside alarms him is to run out shooting wildly like fucking Yosemite Sam.
The weaksauce "piff paff" firecracker sounds of the gun add so much to your description, haha

You think he hasn't already imported bears that the environment can't sustain so that the starving predators will devour anyone who doesn't stay?
Tomato spends a weekend running his own dumpster Hotel sealed away in the upside down realms, 2024
you know it's gonna be good when one of the first things he says is "they just LET you do that?!"
Tomato makes his 3rd order of 12 tins of sardines then goes on about how they're great in moderation 😂
I would pay huge money to stay at an inn run by tomato 🍅
You'd be dead before morning

They should do a psychological case study on Tamto

Same I just did the same thing. Him and Charborg are usually the best ones to sleep too.
It was over before it started. Theres too many things to do. He doesnt have the mental bandwidth to handle more than two simultaneous tasks 😂

Tomato made what I like to call The "bed you make mistakes on in highschool" special
How funny that I saw this game and thought it'd be a good fit for him.
