We designed the Hester Edition Elkas, they are also exclusive from us. Our shocks you can not buy from Elka. Our shocks are custom measurements, exclusive valving we designed, and we build in all 5 stages where Elka only make stages 3-5 for the Teryx. With the longer shocks, no lift kit can be used, you gain 2" of lift (because the shock is much longer), you also gain 34% more wheel travel. Limit straps are not required in most cases, but as you can see they are running portals, so that becomes a recommendation because of the extra weight yanking on the shocks with the portals and 32"+ tires. They really are a massive upgrade not only in ride quality but in performance, how you can drive the Teryx is a whole new world. The flex of it is also substantial. So glad you all are loving the shocks! If anyone has any questions or wants more info on our shocks take a look at our UA-cam channel, "Everything Elka" playlist here. ua-cam.com/play/PL4cLp3Lndo_7T1qiBQ-T4zNeQeaJT1ax4.html
Nice video! Those Elkas are supposed to be a one of the biggest upgrades for these machines! Did you by chance measure the difference in articulation? Thanks!
@@darrentoth7165 check my video out here I did an articulation review and how it stacks up against other machines ua-cam.com/video/LgNpWx4U6us/v-deo.html
Please use jack stands your son was hanging out where he would be pinched between the tire and body if something happened. Not trying to be a douche just hope you start using them
I ordered them a long time ago and they sat on my shelf for a while. One of those projects that I finally made time for. The shocks are really nice, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks, I sure do love the quality of ride you gave my teryx!
You had no preload set up in the old shocks. The adjusters were half an inch from the top
I did at one time. Even with more preload they were still pretty crappy.
great video & great that your son is involved, I bet you are a proud dad. did you have to raise the bed with the extra articulation of the shocks?
Thanks. The bed is still in the factory location
It's not you try to watch this video two different times keeps buffering
N9t sure why that's happening

Didn't measure the difference. But man! That thing is a whole nother machine on the trails, really smooth!
@@JunkinwithJr Thats awesome, I have read nothing but positive reviews on this set up!!

10-4, thanks
@@JunkinwithJr great videos though man keep them coming
Ella does that also from there web site they ask weight and tires. Nice shameless plug
Do these work with the stock Teryx 4LE control arms?
Yes sir they will. The aftermarket arms have factory location shock mounts.
I just ordered the same shocks for my Teryx last week. Can't wait to get them! How long did it take for you to get yours?

What size lift and tires you running
4" portal lift and I wanna say they are 31" tires. I'm not near the buggy so I can't give you the exact tire size
What’s the price
Not sure on current pricing, you'd have to contact Hesters for that
