What's amazing is that Sevendust, a band that was around when most bands today were in freaking high school, have adapted to fit right in with a lot of modern bands of today. These guys simply got it.
Alex I still can’t believe he still has those braids and still dyes ‘em from time to time! They’ve thinned out lol. I’m not saying they look bad on him by any means though. I guess if you’re balding, might as well do it with your hair looking dope.
DAMN! Sevendust has never sounded better!! They have been around forever, a band that stays true to their roots and doesn't sell out, certainly a dying breed.
They're one of the rare bands whose evolution has only made them better yet stayed true to their 'sound'. And also managed not to disappoint their fans. Legendary imo...
They stopped swearing in their songs in 2010... I wish they would start again, it's so cool hearing LJ shout "FUCK YOU!" in pre-Cold Day Memory albums xD
David Steel - No doubt. And 21 years later it's the same 5 guys who started it. That's so unheard of in music. I hope that when it comes time they decide to retire they go out like that. Legends...
I follow this band from the beginning, since the era of Snot .... Limp and all these things, and Sevendust never disappoints, on the contrary, they renew to each disc in themselves in the style they have developed without ever leaving their roots .
Yea man, im now 30, iv been following these guys over HALF MY LIFE ! Still blow me away after 15 years man! Only other group to do that are Bone Thugs n Harmony, totally different kettle of fish. But bro Sevendust 4 life
I managed a rock club in Portland OR in the late 90s, an interesting time. Sevendust rolled through a bunch, they seemed to be on everyones tour, just out there grinding the miles. Always respectful to my staff and hung out after the show. Class acts, the whole band, treated their fans great and were a blast to hang out with. Many other bands during that time were complete talentless douchbags, Sevendust was a band that we always welcomed and truly were unique.
There aren't any words to describe what this band has done for me and for so many others, I'm sure. Their music hits that nerve. Thank you Sevendust for all you've done for so many people.

These guys lay it down live the same as they did 20 years ago. Definitely appreciate all the hard work that goes into that every time they come to Houston. A beautiful experience no matter the venue. These guys are true artist
gcvpip I'm 25 as well. Lol yeah this last year of Warped is pretty embarrassing save a few bands (August Burns Red, Unearth, Every Time I Die, Wage War, MyChildren MyBride, State Champs, Pennywise, Movements, The Maine, Knuckle Puck, etc.) But I might end up going if none of those bands play at the same time as each other. I have yet to see Pennywise so I was pretty excited to see that they're playing in Florida. Just really bummed Phinehas, Harms Way, and Silverstein aren't playing on the east coast.
Most consistent alt metal band out there. They just don’t stop putting out excellent music and they are phenomenal live too. When people ask me “who’s a good band I should follow” I say, “Can’t ever go wrong with 7D”
If you have never heard of Gemini Syndrome you should definitely check them out. One of the best alt metal bands I've ever heard along with 7D. And the lead singer is friends with Lajon
Rise Records your roster is officially phenomenal. Getting Sevendust to sign with you guys is probably the most beneficial thing for both the band and the label. You can tell from a creative standpoint their sound is reinvigorated. I love it and can't wait for the album. And to everyone comparing them to Fire from the Gods...two totally different sounds but 2 amazing bands that I love. Both singers have powerful voices with meaningful lyrics. The fact that Sevendust has been doing this for nearly 25 years and still put out this kind of sound speaks volumes for the musicianship and chemistry in this band. Well done guys. Good job Rise for signing these guys. They only benefit your label.
There's no band like them.. and they have managed to not only stay relevant, but they get better, more unique with every aspect of their sound the further they go... this is fucking bad ass
Tell him that all of us Sevendust fans tell the little dude to ROCK ON! Gotta teach him to throw up the horns now, that's the only logical next step lol

llort ingisfunn - this will probably be the last label they work with given their ages. They may retire in the next 5 years but no matter what... they'll go out as a legend & be remembered for changing the game...

Stay rocking the airwaves and keeping our hearts whole. You're forever in our daily playlists, with timeless music that is so relative to our situations at the time. Until we meet again my friends! - AJ JORDAN FROM BUFFALO, NY
Their album before that was my first one (Home) and it's still the best one in my opinion. And honestly, a ton of their other songs sound the same. They're song structure is so formulaic. I wish Lajon didn't do so much melodic singing and did more metal growl type singing.
I completely agree Nathan. I came for the heaviness, stayed for the voice. It's definitely what sets them apart in my opinion, and I wish more bands these days sang melodically. BTW, might I suggest another band that's kick ass in mixing great melodic singing along with some growling in appropriate places. Mercenary. Check out their song "Redefine Me". Great stuff.

I cannot agree with you more!!!! They're both my favorite bands and listen to them daily. I've seen chevelle 4 times. None yet for sevendust .....I keep missing them sadly

So awesome to see Sevendust releasing new music. Been a fan since the beginning. Livestock 2000, Sevendust stole the show from all of the other bands, with minimal effort!
Chris Jones Oh yes, I feel like it's still the beginning. If you've watched interviews with them, you see that they've been through a lot to get where they are now.
I remember these guys getting air play on stations like 98Rock & 101.1 back in the day with "Animosity", "Waffle" & "Ugly" in the early 2000's ...haven't heard anything from them in a couple years. These guys should be dominating the airwaves with their talent.
People that are hating on 7Dust, obviously you're still listening to them if you're commenting on this video. I've seen this guys about a dozen times and they NEVER disappoint. I've never seen so much heart, soul, passion, whatever you want to say go into a live show. Lajon actually tears up during Angels Son. Please to the haters tell me what bands you like do that.
@Mooky Blaylock don't know how this makes me an idiot but ok, thanks bud. All's I was saying if you're watching the video and comments you obviously must like them that's all. But you do you buddy
Clint rockin' that 7-string eh? Nice! The boys are still killing it after all these years. The more I listen to the song, the more I like it. May 11th cannot come soon enough!
I was curious what u thought. Its not instantly likeable compared to the previous album. Its growing on me tho. I just got used to being blown away since clints return. Im sure the rest is good. Cant wait to hear the sickening. I heard the bridge on that one and its insane.
+wjveryzer7985 This one grew on me big time. I wasn't totally feeling it at first but as soon as I got a copy and cranked it in my car, it immediately clicked. It's a really powerful track, the drums and guitars just sound massive at high volume. The mix 100% does this song justice.
All I See is War is one of their best albums ever. At this stage in their career, that's RIDICULOUSLY impressive. Just a few albums back, there were considering quitting. Then comes this MASTERPIECE. I'm so happy I discovered Sevendust.
This song is badass. So glad to see after all these years you've still got what makes you sevendust. Beautiful melodies with brutal guitar riffs and menacing drums! 🤘
they have progressed to be one of the greatest bands of there genre of all time..absolute musicianship in this band in every way and all some of the nicest people you will ever meet and they have one of the baddest drummers on the planet..cant say enough about the evolution of sevendust..dont think the bar will ever be set with these guys.as a fellow musician of 35 years..i have nothing but the utmost respect for these guys as a band and as individuals because they always deliver greatness
To everyone here, the only "feel" this track has is pure 7D. This is why these guys will always be relevant in music...they MADE their own sound...and Morgan doesn't have the name alien for no reason...in the future I'm sure a Roswell type video set in Atlanta will surface documenting his birth
Haven't really been into Sevendust before, but I clicked the video cause I loved Lajon's guest vocals on Earthside's album. And I gotta say, this is pretty sick!
You can definitely tell who the younger people on here are . " Sounds like fire from the gods" lol nah homie, Fire from the gods sounds like sevendust! Which isn't a big deal both bands are AMAZING
I've loved 7D and been part of the family since the first record way back. Been going to see them ever since then. Just saw them 2 weeks ago. They never disappoint and still keep getting better and better.
I saw Sevendust as an opener at the Pigpen in Clinton IA right after 9/11. This band and this voice carried me through a deployment. I have always loved Sevendust
Rise Records needs to take a moment to personally thank all 5 of you for coming to save their label. Having said that....... It’s amazing that sevendust is finally getting the coverage they deserve. 21 years in the business and still going strong.
These motherfuckers are one of the most underrated band in the States! The catalog of music they have just goes on and on! L.J. his voice is the same as it was in the 90s with "bitch" and "black"!
Been listening to Breaking Benjamin for years...can't believe I never listened to Sevendust. Just saw them live last night. So amazing and incredible performers
I was 14 years old when I first heard these guys...I'm 35 years old now and have bought every CD they came out with but, I gotta tell ya their music is like wine. It gets better with age!! Salute to these OG's for still goin hard
They're fucking awesome! I'm 22 and my parents introduced me to them back when I was barely 5 years old and I'm still jamming out to them!

Are you in Indiana?
Liam Sweeney right?!?! Like...I am so sad not more people love these guys. Lajons voice is🔥🔥🔥🔥 and so is the rest of the group!
Um have you heard the garbage on the radio and what people listen too like sheep?

And raceless.

Just about everyone has heard of Sevendust. Even young adults that don’t listen to rock music have heard a Sevendust song.

Cruisey DFR so true bro
They're one of the rare bands whose evolution has only made them better yet stayed true to their 'sound'. And also managed not to disappoint their fans. Legendary imo...
They attempted that a bit with seasons...even if its more mainstream it's still one of their best!
They stopped swearing in their songs in 2010... I wish they would start again, it's so cool hearing LJ shout "FUCK YOU!" in pre-Cold Day Memory albums xD

I would never think that Vinnie would be doing the growls with Morgan doing the screams!!
Nice profile pic great album
Clint rockin' that 7-string eh? Nice! The boys are still killing it after all these years. The more I listen to the song, the more I like it. May 11th cannot come soon enough!
MysticGuitar77 indeed my friend
I was curious what u thought. Its not instantly likeable compared to the previous album. Its growing on me tho. I just got used to being blown away since clints return. Im sure the rest is good. Cant wait to hear the sickening. I heard the bridge on that one and its insane.
I noticed that too. Pretty rad.
+wjveryzer7985 This one grew on me big time. I wasn't totally feeling it at first but as soon as I got a copy and cranked it in my car, it immediately clicked. It's a really powerful track, the drums and guitars just sound massive at high volume. The mix 100% does this song justice.
Ok when are you going to tab this one out for us
All I See is War is one of their best albums ever. At this stage in their career, that's RIDICULOUSLY impressive. Just a few albums back, there were considering quitting. Then comes this MASTERPIECE. I'm so happy I discovered Sevendust.
Oh my ears are so in love!
SEVENDUST FOREVER!!!!!
To everyone here, the only "feel" this track has is pure 7D. This is why these guys will always be relevant in music...they MADE their own sound...and Morgan doesn't have the name alien for no reason...in the future I'm sure a Roswell type video set in Atlanta will surface documenting his birth
Morgan is not human
Sevendust is my favorite band to see live. Staying true to roots. Acoustic is awesome.
And suddenly my day became perfect. Welcome back. Love them
Haven't really been into Sevendust before, but I clicked the video cause I loved Lajon's guest vocals on Earthside's album. And I gotta say, this is pretty sick!
Most underrated band I've ever heard. I love sevendust. They need to get more credit for just being consistently great for a long time
in 2018 that type of sound? AMAZING!
high hopes for the album!!!!!
I love Sevendust LJ voice is so strong..Who say brothers cant rock out ...
Nobody
Literally nobody
Lol. Compliments him then brings colour into it. We get it. You're not racist.
Well ever since ya know HENDRIX no one says that.
It's so great to see POC in rock! Non POC will never understand the feeling.
One of the Greatest rock bands too ever do it and have great longevity keep em coming sevendust much love ❤ rock on 🤘
Most underrated band of all time.
That chorus just kills! 😈
Yessssss
The chorus and the solo... gives me goosebumps of awesomeness.
Forever young! Who is with me to go see this band on Feb. 2nd in New Orleans at the House of Blues?
Sevendust has arrived!
You can definitely tell who the younger people on here are . " Sounds like fire from the gods" lol nah homie, Fire from the gods sounds like sevendust! Which isn't a big deal both bands are AMAZING
Solo Dalé 4x4s Wait they are what!!!!
I turned a liking to 7dust when Praise was on rotation on mtv. Starting to get too fucking old for my own good...
Solo Dalé 4x4s yes!!
Solo Dalé 4x4s That's amazing
Lol....
this band keeps going and going. never gets boring. still ass kicking!
Lajon is the greatest vocalist who ever lived.
Next to Corey Glover, and Russel Allen, he's my favorite Metal/Rock singers
lol... u don't know a lot of vocalists, I see. =p
3DKing200 one of the most....layne Staley
Definitely in rock.
Daniel Herrera I can agree with you
I love Sevendust soooooo much!!! Can't wait to see them again in concert!!
Fan's go nuts at a Sevendust concert. No matter what size the room is. They perform like they are on a stadium level
I've loved 7D and been part of the family since the first record way back. Been going to see them ever since then. Just saw them 2 weeks ago. They never disappoint and still keep getting better and better.
All kinds of incredible.
I saw Sevendust as an opener at the Pigpen in Clinton IA right after 9/11. This band and this voice carried me through a deployment. I have always loved Sevendust
My favourite metal song of 2018 thus far
This band is truly timeless.
Rise Records needs to take a moment to personally thank all 5 of you for coming to save their label.
Having said that.......
It’s amazing that sevendust is finally getting the coverage they deserve. 21 years in the business and still going strong.
DAMN THIS IS GOOD
These guys are so overlooked they have a great sound I don't think theres one album they have that isn't good
that guitar solo, the 1st time I heard I stopped and listened to it 3 times over again, the phrasing is still brilliant 2 years later.
This is why they are the best band to ever walk the earth
most underrated band of all time. still doing it 2020
So much energy! I love it!
This is, hands down, one of the BEST sounding records I've ever heard. Ever.
Sevendust have never disappointed. If you stripped out the harsh vocals it sounds like something off of "Home." This is great
Sevendust is back!!!!! And from my home state! Keep rockin fellas!
Sevendust is back and showing these kids how it’s done since “Black”!
These motherfuckers are one of the most underrated band in the States! The catalog of music they have just goes on and on! L.J. his voice is the same as it was in the 90s with "bitch" and "black"!
Good lord, that drummer! I'm diggin that PRS and EVH amp setup, too. Solid song.
Se renovaron sin perder el estilo!!.. Sevendust sigue de pie
Been listening to Breaking Benjamin for years...can't believe I never listened to Sevendust. Just saw them live last night. So amazing and incredible performers
this song and the album its from pushed me through hard times, i love sevendust.
Cannot believe I'm just discovering these guys.
Ikr me too tf
That just says it was meant to happen when it did. At least you know them now. 😁
Boy are you in for a good time
Sevendust fans are like a family. Welcome!
Better now than never! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
