Thank you! Yes it’s definitely quiet but by choice, it’s harder to hear my feet and during that section my focus is tightness there- so I play the snare quieter to hear it better so I can make sure it’s tight. If I were playing live or recording however, we would need to hit that snare more evenly absolutely.
@@XanderVapulaBuehrer aah i see, i actually never even considered that as a reason to play the snare quieter. But i see why you chose to do that, nice tip!
@@xSTONYTARKx yep! With no playback in my ears I can’t hear my feet over the snare always so going practical but yep in a recording context those snare dynamics wouldn’t fly
He didn't really seem like he was wearing himself out. Every body works differently, because of different proportions. I also like to sit higher, but what works for some, does not have to work for everyone. In the end all that matters is the result.
those single stroke triplets on the kicks are insane 😭
Thank you !
Great drumming! Great control!

Nice control. Solid playing!
Snare could be a bit more powerfull on the triplet beat imo though, unless that's a dynamic choice.

Nice power single strokes on the kick, i played like that in 3-4 hours in 1998. Sounds great!
