I met and talked to Elvis on July 4th 1955. In Brownwood Texas. Very friendly and polite young man. He had too much pressure for any one human to carry. Very sad to lose him.
That is something else my friend. Being in his presence, you were touched by a very special human being that till the day he died would've told you that he was no better than any of us, Elvis just had something very special meant for the world. You were very lucky to have met & talked with Elvis Presley. Bless You🙏
@John Shakespeare elvis was a international super star and seeing and he has fans in his 20s just says a lot about the man really. Your just a sausage who ain’t a fan what makes u think that I no what talent is like in the music industry when your famous around the world still very much relevant 45 plus years after death confirms that twat face.
@@LynnDrowns Seriously, this is my question. WHY was his bowel obstruction not taken seriously? It didn't get that bad all at once. We know Elvis suffered from insomnia since at least the age of 21 so when it comes to Elvis, it's not hard to understand why he would welcome relief from it. However, this doctor got away with murder no doubt. He neglected Elvis and his medical issues that didn't involve prescribing enough narcotics to kill a horse. It's a horrible thing.
Dr. Nick kept Elvis sick, or he would have helped Elvis to get well, would have found a surgeon to clear the bowel obstruction. Just don't understand how that could go on that long as severe his condition was. The pain and suffering Elvis went thru. Toxins building up in his body. Why?
@@SusieOrSueOrSusan back in those times they didn't have all the specialists we have today . They probably had no other choice than to treat it with medication.
It's just very sad that he was really a work horse for so many people. Yes he was the King and always will be but he paid a huge price for his rags to riches story (HIS LIFE). No human being could keep the pace up that he did for many years without something giving way.Rest in peace along with your mom and other family members. SLEEP WITH THE ANGELS. You were a phenomenal person.
Elvis was so famous and got shut in from the outside. He became truly depressed and lonely even though people were around him. I always loved Elvis feel so bad he wasn't happy. Elvis put on a brave face. Long live Elvis !!!!!
@@gassbaggerwoods5955 When Elvis did the comeback special, the director convinced Elvis to go out on the streets. NO ONE approached him. Elvis was also known to go out in Memphis and assist police, by directing traffic and other things. No mobs. His "Memphis Mafia" has recounted several times Elvis would disappear on his own. No mobs. Elvis was catered to so much, that he struggled to do anything on his own. People that were around him, have talked, and laughed, about Elvis not knowing how to do things. Like not knowing how to call for a cab, climbing over a gate because he didn't know how to open it, and going somewhere then not having money to pay for something because someone else always settled the bill for him. I'm not denying that "normal" day to day life was possible for him. But there was no need to live like a hermit. He CHOSE to do so. There were famous people before Elvis, and after, that all manage to deal with the public, and not live like hermits. Elvis CHOSE to use his fame as an excuse for problems he created, and others he CHOSE to ignore. We can still like and appreciate Elvis for all he did, and gave the world...while being honest about the bad parts too. He was human, he had flaws and problems, just like everyone else.
It's sad that in 4 decades after his death, we are still dealing with dishonest doctors, big pharma and tragic addiction that has lead to so many senseless deaths.
ur missing the whole point im not talking about elvis twin im talking about the former elvis being jesse dna says it to be true and so does people passing lie detector test or that photo of jesse when he first meet his grandson benjiI have constructed this web site in order that my name (on my own website) will come up in search results when anyone does a search for my name. This is being done to counteract the rumors and lies about me on other websites I will say only that Elvis’s/Jesse’s and Dr. Hinton’s book is the truth - co-written by Elvis/Jesse - the man who performed so magnificently as Elvis Presley. My friend Jesse is the real man who lives still…not the superstar image of which he grew so weary. Jesse has been friends with my husband and me for many years beginning in the Spring of 1992. Over the course of these many years, Jesse has proven to me time and time again that he is indeed Elvis. Neither Elvis/Jesse nor I owe anyone anything…not one more word than those which Elvis/Jesse wrote in the book. Unfortunately, there have been many false rumors and out-and-out lies told about me since 2001 when Jesse’s and Dr. Hinton’s book was published. My name in the book was shown as “Shuma“. However, people who came after me as far back as 1990 - 1991 as a result of my newsletter, recognized me in the book and began a whole new round of attacks. Even today I hear rumors of things about me being passed around. I chose to remain very private. I have not stepped forward publicly to explain nor defend myself since my one attempt (on an Internet forum) in Feb. 2003. I finally asked Jesse’s permission to use my real name to defend myself. When asked, Jesse said, “Yes and you can use my name too!” Footnote: It is now 2020 and I have had this website for over 11 years. Shortly after I began this site, Jesse asked me to be his “voice“. I have worked faithfully every day since the day he asked me to do that for him in 2009. The following 170+ pages are a testament to his support of me and my devotion to him. I invite everyone to follow along with Jesse and me as we share the truth…Elvis’ truth.I am very happy and gratified to have reached a total site visitor count of one million today. I began this website in mid-May, 2009. I have fought tooth and nail to keep this site accurate, strong, and open to everyone. I take it so very seriously that I am standing up for, and presenting the truth about, the man the world knew and loved as Elvis Aron Presley. It is one of the greatest honors of my life to be blessed with the trust and friendship of the amazing man who was Elvis and who is now Jesse. I thank everyone so very much for visiting my site and making it possible for my site to have achieved this fantastic number of visitors. Most of all, I thank Jesse for being there with his moral support and his friendship…and, most of all, for his permission to use my real name to defend myself against all the lies which had already been spread on the Internet about me. That occurred after Jesse’s book was published in 2001 when a few very mean-spirited people recognized that I am Shuma in Jesse’s book. Had that not taken place, I would have never shared my friendship with Jesse here on my site nor in any other public manner. Again, my heartfelt thanks to everyone for making this possible.I know Jesse will be happy to see this take place for he knows all the work, determination and trials that have gone into reaching this level of success. I am still looking forward to our 6 year anniversary next month. I can’t recall exactly what date I first sat down to establish my website. But, I know that I was doing a good bit of work on it on May 24, 2009, and so I am going to make that my anniversary date. For those who don’t know the history of my site, I set out to have just one or two pages in my own name to defend myself against the lies which were published about me on the Internet. That was my only purpose and my only goal. However, it was no time at all until “Elvis people” started coming out of the woodwork to attack me. So, with each attack, I came back with more proof. And so it has gone for right at 6 years. The people who attack me only dig a deeper pit for themselves to fall into. As Elvis/Jesse says “The truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time but it’s not going away.“ This website is a labor of love for Jesse. It is for his sake that I have continued on this rough and rocky road. He honors me by choosing me to be his confidant and “voice“…I will NOT fail him. I will, once again, display below his letter of affirmation to me of his decision which he wrote in March 2009. I had no idea when he told me of his thoughts and wrote the letter to me that I would ever do anything to act upon his decision. God knew, and Jesse perhaps sensed, that I was going to be put in this fight-for-right battle within just a few short months. Before I even thought of starting this web site, I did ask Jesse if I could use my real name to defend myself and he said “Yes…and you can use my name too.” and so I did, and here we are so much later with so many battles behind us and determined to face whatever the unenlightened souls may throw our way. “Just like a tree that’s planted by the water, we shall not be moved.“ I, most of all, thank Jesse for his loyalty and never wavering support of me and the work which I do to maintain this place for the REAL truth about Elvis Aron Presley to be shared with those fans who come here because they love the man behind the image and not just the image.I am so very honored to announce that Wanda June Hill who was a very close personal friend and confidante of Elvis’ for 15 years, right up to the day he “retired”, has written a statement and letter of endorsement for me to post on my site. In this statement, Wanda states that she now KNOWS that Jesse is really Elvis. She and I have, over the course of several years, become good friends and she has spent a lot of time on my website perusing my material. She has been thinking back and recalls all of the things which Elvis was going through back in the last couple of years before he left. He told her so many things indicating that he would like to just stop being Elvis, take care of his health, and be a regular person. There was no way out for him except to “die“. I have created a new page devoted to the statement and letter of endorsement written by Wanda. I hope everyone will visit and take time to grasp the significance of Wanda June Hill’s statement that she now KNOWS that my sweet friend, Jesse, really is the man who the world knew and loved as Elvis Aron Presley. Also, Jesse has given me several things to tell Wanda which only he and she would know. Below is the link to my new page. Please do visit this most important page of my website. This statement by Wanda plus the page proving that Jesse’s DNA does match the first cousins on Elvis’ Smith and Presley’s sides of his family should be enough to convince even the most die-hard skeptic.
yea we all absolutely love Jesse who was Elvis Presley I just want the truth out and why he went in to hiding that's why the man who claimed to be Elvis Presley back in 2002 and even wrote a book I regarding that why his DNA match's both sides of the Elvis Presley family tree even dr Hinton who was Elvis aka Jesse's dr why he passed a lie detector test when asked is Elvis Presley alive and he said absolutely it's the absolute truth dr Hinton was even given gifts from Jesse like PJs from muhumad Ali cufflinks from Anna Margret and even rings of Elvis and that's why after Elvis supposedly passed away a photo of him was taken in the pool house of Graceland and then Graceland denied it was him and blocked that door or the fact that Priscilla once said on Oprah oh I was talking to Elvis the other day ? People might think I'm crazy but I have seen proof that not only did Elvis fake his death in 1977 but then there's that photo of Jesse aka Elvis Presley with his grandson Benji storm the first time he meet him in 1994 Jesse has identical moles on his legs as Elvis it has to be him or why does Elvis tomb say Elvis Aaron Presley his real names Elvis Aron the to a they put on his tombs because the first a is for the letter alive I just want the truth about Jesse who is Elvis pls be honest Linda Priscilla Lisa Marie Riley and anyone else who knows Jesse is in fact Elvis or explain to me why Jesse's DNA match's Elvis and why his handwriting match elvis Below you will see two DNA reports which prove that Jesse’s DNA matches first cousins from both sides of Elvis’ family. The first lab report is a comparison of the DNA between Jesse and Donna Presley…the Paternal first cousin of Elvis. Donna is the daughter of one of Elvis’ father’s sisters, however she uses the Presley last name.Below You will see the DNA lab report which is a comparison of the DNA between Jesse and Brenda Smith…the Maternal 1st cousin of Elvis. Brenda is the daughter of one of Elvis’ mother’s brothers. Jesse’s DNA was obtained by FOX 8 TV in 2002 from a saliva kit which Jesse furnished to them. The second Jesse’s DNA was obtained from a letter envelope which Jesse licked in 2008. These two samples matched each other and they matched the DNA of Elvis’ two first cousins on both sides of Elvis’ family. This is the final FOX 8 News report regarding Dr. Hinton and Jesse. In this report you will see a final DNA report which shows that Jesse is, indeed, related to Elvis’ two first cousins. One on the Smith side of the family and the other on the Presley side of the family. There is only one other person on earth who would match these relatives and that is Elvis’ double first cousin Patsy Presley and one may rest assured that she did not let Jesse use her DNA. Of course, Jesse did not come out publicly in 2002. He had been telling me, with no doubt whatsoever that he was NOT coming out. Hinton and Felix Johnson thought that they could manipulate and pressure Jesse into coming out. I tried to get word to them several times that he was not coming out. They ignored my messages and continued to lie saying that he was coming out in 2002.Below is the latest news about the delayed release of the Elvis biopic movie which has been in the works for a long while. I probably will not be viewing this movie, after all, as I have gotten the impression that this may be an unfair portrayal of Col. Parker. If it turns out to be a good account of the real man who Col. Parker was, I may change my mind. I want to emphasize that in all the years I have known Jesse, he has NEVER once said a single bad word about Col. Parker. On the contrary, he has always spoken of him with gratitude, appreciation, and respect. He told me that when Col. Parker died, he did not know what he was going to do. They were close right up until the time Col. Parker passed away. We owe a debt of gratitude to Col. Parker for coming up with the plan to fake Elvis’ death so that he could survive and still be with us to this day. It hurts me when I hear and see people saying words of hate about Col. Parker because I know how much he helped Jesse through all the years until he passed away. Col. Parker and Dr. Nick both have been badly misportrayed and misunderstood. Jesse told me that they both took the secret to their graves. Tom Hanks is playing the part of Col. Parker in the upcoming movie. Below is an excerpt of an article quoting what Priscilla Presley had to say about Col. Parker. In this instance, she did speak the truth: Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, had dinner with their friend Priscilla Presley in the hopes of getting a better take on the man he was playing. Hanks said he was taken aback by her reaction. “I was expecting to hear stories about the distrust she had for ‘Colonel Tom’ Parker over these many years. And she said, ‘No. He was a wonderful man, and I wish he was alive today. He took really great care of us. He was a scoundrel in his way,'” Hanks said. isaac maskey isaac maskey 5 months ago perfect match between elvis and the man who claimed to be elvis explain to me how im crazy because i look at dna evidence claiming elvis is alive you no why its crazy because people was told he passed away but jesses face matchs with elvis 100 percent id like to see priscilla explain to use who jesse really is cause from what i have see he is elvis and not only that hes got the same moles on his legs as elvis oh and his dna matchsi bealive this man is elvis like really people keep denying it but how is it hes got the same 2 mole on his leg as elvis and his dna match elvis family tree and why did they spell his name elvis aaron when we all no his real name is elvis aron and one time pricilla said on the oprah show i was talking to elvis the other day i can say 100 percent bob joyce is not elvis i get people might think i sound crazy but he has the same smille as elvis how can people keep saying its not him like for real it says that his dna matchs elvis family so who else could it be people might say why is he using the name jesse well because its possible his twin brother didnt surivie so he trying to give his brother a life by using the name because its simple twins have a special relationship and its possible if jesse passed away he would wanna use his brothers name because most people are close to there brother sisters mums or dadAa Phillip Allen Phillip Allen 1 year ago Elvis was a good man. country where drugs are legal ? dont have many drug pronblems like america Because its against the law and thats stupid ands killing many americans MAKE ALL DRUGS LEGAL and gety the damm GOV out of the docs office
Colonel Parker was a greedy, gambling addicted POS. He killed Elvis as much as the doctors did. He started the ball rolling to the Kings demise. Special place in hell for all of them.
I believe that Colonel Tom Parker was having the Doc giving Elvis all of those meds to keep him to were Elvis probably didn't know where he was most of the time, so both of those men should have done some time in jail. R.I.P Elvis
I remember Joe Esposito saying once when Elvis was really bad off one night, and called Colonel to tell him Elvis might not make it. Apparently, Colonel told Joe : "Do what you have to do, but there's no way he's not getting on that stage tonight. Nothing else matters".
Back when journalism was authentic, Geraldo was a pioneer of exposing investigations too bad that is no longer in existence today, as all is covered up now. The entertainment industry is a very powerful entity in spin control / controlling the narratives with their stars, as there is lots of money involved. I'm sure fans knowing that he died of a heart attack sounds a lot better than dying of drugs. I'm sure they thought that many fans would no longer see him as wholesome and pure knowing that he was addicted to these drugs. Elvis will always live on through his music! Thanks for uploading this!
No matter how much ppl make fun of G.R. or criticize him it can not be denied that he is a passionate reporter and a good writer and a thorough researcher. He may come off as a kind of drama queen or as an arrogant Ahole but that does not take away from his reporting. He remains a charismatic fellow even now in his old age. Laugh at him and deride him all you want but he laughs ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK and really enjoys his yacht. 😄
What’s so interesting is that Elvis wasn’t trying to be “different” he was just being himself. Many things in one. He was surrounded by a team of people but not one of them could help him get off the pills... pills to sleep, pills to wake up, plus meds for various health issues. 42 is way too young. Why was he so swollen? At his last concert he could hardly move yet just a few years earlier, he was still active on stage, playing sports and practicing karate. He didn’t have siblings (his twin -Jesse Garon died at birth), his Dad was under the Colonel’s kool aid and money making machine band wagon, his Mom died at age 42 too, which affected Elvis deeply. Everyone that knew him said he was never the same after her passing. He was tired of the ride he couldn’t get off of. Ginger was too young and inexperienced to know how to handle him and his strong personality. We all miss Elvis. I pray he’s finally at peace. He was one of a kind.
I doubt they wanted him off the drugs they manipulated him with them told him when to sleep when to wake up made him dependant he could have been even bigger without that manager of his abusing him.
Adri, Hello. Glady's Presley was born 1912 and died 1958 she was 46 years old. Elvis died at 42. Glady's lived a bit longer then her son Elvis but still way to young to die.
Adri Amaral So well said! Thank you for your comment. I , too, commented along those lines. Please read my comment of February 2022. Even those who chose to believe that Elvis staged his own death to "get off that ride he couldn't get off of" must now admit that Elvis is surely at peace in The Afterlife by now.
Elvis left the building but never left our lives. Today I can exactly remember where I was when I heard Elvis has died. 45 years later that moment in my bedroom in Ireland is vividly etched on my mind like it was yesterday. Elvis was truly a legend of the 20th century ☘🇮🇪🎸🇺🇸
same!! i was so young but lived Elvis. My glamorous mum was so beautiful that day, but i will never forget the sad painful look on her face when the news came on the radio. We were in a heatwave but the room felt cold. He will never be forgotten!!! those around him enabled & exploited him. it was way too young to die.b
I was a little girl in Germany and I didn't even spoke English. I only learned it later at school. But Elvis was so beautiful and had such a beautiful voice.❤ I sat in my room on the floor in front of my radio. Music was playing, then the news came on. The first news was Elvis. 😢 I was so shocked and cried and cried. Just crying. I will never forget that moment and my despair. I could only really believe it when I saw the pictures on the TV.🥺🦋🕊
Let's not forget there were no rehab facilities like Betty Ford back in 1977. There wasn't the awareness of drug addiction like there is now. Heartbreaking that Elvis & other addicts back then didn't have the resources & understanding that we have now. May he rip
@@hendo337 methadone was big in the Netherlands back then but not in the US. I did a research paper on it in college back in 1991. It was still controversial in the US in the 70's. But was hugely successful in the Netherlands. Thankfully today there is Suboxone, which is much easier to maintain on. And easier to kick than methadone, although many choose to remain on it since it is not intoxicating or sedating as Methadone is
This just breaks my heart. I saw him in '76. I was 10 yrs old and I've been a life long fan. Bless his heart😭 I don't think anyone was aware of how to help. Col Parker was the pusher. He had to perform. He tried the best way he knew how.
@@rhondamcbath6279 exactly, I can't even speak his name, not even his real name he was from Holland I think. In fact I heard he was on the run for killing a woman. That's why he could never get a passport to go overseas.
Elvis still lives on through his music. I still listen to his music. My children know his music. He was a good man. Thank you Elvis for all you did for humanity. You are loved by many, where many of us will never impact the many like you have. With technology today, he is still with us. ❤
The people complaining about his end being poked and investigated like this. Look past the fact its elvis and you are a fan. I'm a massive fan, and have been addicted heavily on codeine myself. Almost died a few times from it via seizures. This video is a GOOD thing. Alot of people think prescription drugs cant kill. Anyone just starting to get hooked on painkillers, watch this and take heed. Anyone slating elvis or people like him for talking them more and more until something like this happens.... realise this, when you are addicted to them and maybe had them daily for any length of time, and you have to go 2 orv3 days without. Your entire body hurts. Your gut is in agony and your head feels flu like. It is horrific and very hard to stop
Back then there was very low awareness re prescription pill addiction. Elvis was given uppers while on night duty in the army and his addiction started there. He also used pills to cope with his feelings about his career just becoming a Vegas grind that just rehashed old hits.
Now getting back to Elvis was a great singer and musician like all of us he had problems but all us have skeletons in our closets he is gone now in life he was a kind and giving man let's remember him for the good he did.
I think losing his Mother was partly to blame. She would have kept him on the stright and narrow. He gave so much to others, a generous and kind person. The Colonel pushed him too hard no wonder he couldn't sleep. Just feel so sad. I just want to remember him as he was, a great singer and performer who loved his fans and was generous to fault. Our loss, heaven's gain.
So many wonderful things can be said about Elvis. I have loved him since I was ten as have millions of others. I'm 76 now and listening to him sing can still excite me ( thank God! ) I'm saddened however that so much attention has always been paid to this great man's short comings. He is forgiven and loved by his God. Why can't folks like us forgive and love him too? p.s. whatever you want to say to criticize Geraldo Rivera, you can't deny that he was a passionate reporter and a thorough researcher. Give Mr. Rivera some respect as you continue to love and respect your Elvis. Thank you, Jo-Anna L. Edwards
@@georgemusic4all4seasons I'm ok with telling the truth about any public figure even if it's negative. But what I HATE is when ppl keep talking about the bad stuff ALL THE TIME which negates the positive things about whoever they are talking about. Elvis was / is SO MUCH MORE THAN HIS DRUG USE. Just as Drew Barrymore is SO MUCH MORE than her teenage bad choices. imo, folks' talent and good works are much more important than very OLD gossip. But small minded ppl seem to enjoy bad mouthing celebrities and other important ppl just to help them to feel better about themselves. These kind of folks suffer from INFERIORITY COMPLEXES.
You can imagine the pressure this man had on him to go to work pay all the bills and not feel well but he had to do it cuz all the people relying on him he knew that

When he saw he was weary, our Lord called him home to be with him and finally get some rest and finish with all those horrible drugs. Such a humble sweetheart he was. Never a bad word was ever said about Elvis the man or entertainer. God Bless this wonderful soul. 💞🙏
Elvis Presley will live for ever in our hearts don't forget he served in the war that alone would be hard on his heart is we were lucky to have him for the time we got rip sweet angel Elvis Presley thanks god bless
I think the very last concert Elvis did he was struggling had hid head in a bucket of ice according to Jerry Gellar , not fit to go on stage and parker went in the room came out telling geller nothing else matters only that elvis goes on with the show , seeing hos bad he was and he could show no concern jst wanted him to carry on poor man was exhausted needed a rest 2 shows a day for 8 wks for 5yrs al parker was interested in was the money not that elvis was ill in no state to go on , but ever the loyal to his fans elvis went on , pushed himself i blame parker too for his death
Thank you Geraldo for this information. Elvis was very talented and is missed more than he could possibly know. It is a shame when well known artist get involved in things that could or could not take their lives. I was 6 years old when he passed but I knew his musio from my mother being a fan of his as well as other famiy members who loved his music.
You can thank the Coronal for that. He took 50% of what Elvis made. Coronal was addicted to gambling and drinking. Elvis gave so much to many people in his life he was almost broke when he died. He wanted to quit touring but his manager took to much of his money. Have respect for the King. He was a lonely great man.
Thanks for uploading. You did a very good job converting an old VHS tape to a quite decent quality video clip on UA-cam. Historically, it is very interesting for an Elvis fan. I heard about this 20/20 broadcast many years ago via a fanclub magazine outside the U.S. My heart goes out to Ginger Alden. She was only 20 years old and at least 20-24 younger than most of the people around Elvis, including Elvis in a very secluded group and also very public. As she was the first one to find him dead on the floor in the bathroom that dreadful early afternoon August 16, 1977 must have been traumatising. But Elvis being a public person she had to share her grief with the world. The one who suffered the most, though, was Lisa Marie.
Ginger is not even mentioned in the new Elvis movie and was banned from visiting Graceland. She didn't cash in like the others It was over 20 yrs before she wrote a book..
7.4.22,The great Elvis’ great desire was to perform. Col Tom Parker the manager’s great desire was for Elvis to perform! Sadly Group Intervention for the drug abuse Did Not Happen. ☹️. Rest peacefully King of rock & Roll🎶
So sad he was so drugged up and these doctors and friends just stood by and let it happen. Just watching this in 2022 and I miss this kind of reporting. Kudos to Geraldo for excellent investigative reporting. I wish there were still investigative journalists out there.
“These doctors and friends just stood by and let it happen?” Elvis would fire anyone that wouldn’t stay in their lane. If they talked about his drugs, he would tell them stuff like he has it under control, or not to worry, it when angry, mind your own business… His doctors and friends had him in the hospital at least 3 times to dry out.. detox. Elvis would go right back to the pills AND NEEDLES. Elvis loved getting stoned. Seriously stoned. After staying clean for weeks before the Aloha for Hawaii… immediately right after…. While on his hotel room balcony … so stoned he could barely open his eyes, sweating profusely… the plans to the group to go touring with Elvis… cancelled. Every woman besides Ginger (she hadn’t had time yet and it was a part of Priscilla’s reason), left Elvis because his excessive pill intake including syringe intake. His but was so leather like that after years of getting shots in the but in the later years he could no longer as his but was like leather.. they shot him between his toes.. Elvis was a serious drug addict. Elvis wanted drugs and enjoyed being stoned. He would not stop even after numerous detox attempts and even almost dying a number of times. Sure, doctors prescribed it… friends were not to blame at all. Some maybe (not true friends), as they got drugs (including cocaine), to Elvis.
As Elvis said your either with me or your not & none of the Memphis Mafia wanted to disappoint him or leave. Tom Parker has to take some of the blame for his mantra of “Get Elvis on stage tonight know matter what” .
The same thing happened to his mama. Elvis being sent off to the army broke her heart: a lot of things did. She over indulged in alcohol. Elvis being trusting of his doctor- it was the pills. Uppers and downers are known for clogging you up. It’s really important to have a good gut health. It’s helps with blood flow- the oxygen in the blood cells- the food Elvis would eat had no oxygen partials in it to feed his blood- sure he fed his belly and appetite. But eating is more than that. It’s a spiritual experience to eat. And if you think of it in that way. You will be healthy and make more conscious decisions.
I feel so sad that head so addicted to drugs that he couldn’t sleep with so many pills he took at once so th doctors are ho gave them to him are to blam for his death poor elvis such a fantastic man ent trainer and oh so handsome can’t believe he was so lonely and sad I know he lost people he loved but so many fans loved him and Lisa and precilla had to be in deep mourning as we all are gg
Your comment is spot on . I've meet people who finish there meals in under 4 minute's, bang it's gone then they wonder why they are I'll Anyway it was comforting reading your comment, as I think the same From Australia x
Elvis had a mega colon and it would twist. A year or so earlier they were considering taking a part of it out. Our whole family has bowel, bad livers, kidneys, hearts and circulation with most having addiction issues. The meds only exacerbated these problems. He had a barium study about 4 months earlier. It didn't flush out properly and set up like concrete in places and with the stool created a packed colon. Back then they didn't know a lot about autoimmune diseases. They run in our family too. By looking, if not diabetic with glaucoma and the organ and colon being connective tissue I am guessing he had some major undiagnosed autoimmune issues. Also Elvis was allegedly allergic to codeine. Where did that come from? Who was the friend Rick Stanley ran off that day. Why did Vernon feel the death was questionable enough to insist asking Ginger if she saw ANYONE else up there. She was asleep so of course she didn't see anyone. Vernon knew something. Joe E developed dementia later in life and I can't believe anything he said after a certain age. The nagging question of the codeine has bothered me always and what type the allergy was. Basically with a paralyzed colon it would have caused all manners of trouble with nasty stuff seeping into his body. Notice none of his men mention codeine. So where did it come from? This sweet, beautiful, talented man needed a rehab, a healthy diet and fiber and I'm wondering if he needed insulin or other blood sugar care. I am so sad this man lost his life so early. Drs were terrible to allow this to happen. God is enjoying his company and voice now.
No one can comprehend what it's like to live a life that doesn't really belong to you. A life where everyone in the world thinks they have a right to take pieces of you for themselves. When you become "famous" the rest of the world doesn't look at you like you're still a human being, they don't care! They just want a part of you for themselves. Maybe it's because they think it will make them a little more important or special, I don't really know and never could understand it. Why wasn't the music & movies enough for everyone?! Why do they feel that everything belongs to them? Every "celebrity" is just a person with their own personalities, problems, Joys and heartaches. If you feel that you need certain things to get through the rollercoaster of life so be it. Life is hard enough when you're invisible to the rest of the world but it's even harder when the world thinks they own you. Nobody lives forever & when you live a life like that you've done more & seen more than most people ever will! You can't keep that level of living going for 70,80,90 or 100 years! Trust me you wouldn't want to! All the money in the world won't buy back the person you were before the world decided they owned you. And it's obviously true even after death...
Making music made Elvis wealthy, but it also made him public property. There was no real transitional period, it was an explosion. One day he's driving a truck, the next, a Cadillac.
Elvis had so much on his plate and took care of everyone until he couldn't. He was so tired and had became alot of people's cash cow. Nobody hardly said no to Elvis because they wanted money and new cars he gifted them. Little did they realize that they were helping to end his life at an early age. I think Dr. Nick cared but Elvis was hooked and hard to say no to. Colonel Parker didn't care as long as Elvis was preforming and making money. It's so sad because addiction can happen to anyone even someone as great as Elvis.
It is too bad the Memphis Mafia & Dr. Nick did not start giving him placebo's to get him off the drugs. However, he had a twisted colon and Dr. Nick had recommended he have a surgery and he did not want to because he did not want to have accidents on stage :( He just would not stop because of the fans :(
Let's get one thing straight now the doctors gave him the medication so we can't call it drugs drugs is when you take it illegally he was taking it from doctors who gave it to him so you can't blame Elvis for for taking the medication it wasn't illegal he got it through doctors I really don't think Elvis knew what he was taking so please people stop saying drugs it was medication from his doctors it wasn't illegal drugs it was from doctors another thing who was the person I'm not accusing his brother his half brother Rick who controls those little packages who controls the medicine and the little packages doesn't anybody wonder about that after he took those little packages he ended up dead so think about it Miss You Elvis you were the best the kindest the greatest entertainer of all times think about those little packages people please there's somebody must have did something to those little packages I see that not his out brother I just wondered who controlled those packages TCB
As a retired nurse who had a 33 year career, I am really surprised that Elvis did not die sooner than he did! All of those drugs listed would have knocked out a 2000 lb. horse!! And they gave him repeated doses? Unreal!!!
what i find stunning is that these patients have all the money in the world and they end up in the care of weirdo half assed doctors. Elvis could have afforded the best doctors and ends up with idiots. Elvis' ex wife Priscilla - who could have afforded the best surgeons in the world - let some fake plastic surgeon inject industrial silicone in her face and ruined her looks forever. Michael Jackson was the same... not only did he have an idiot for a doctor not even paying attention to him, his home was a few blocks away from one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world where he could have had state of the art treatment from the best doctors.
Being a recovering addict myself from pain killers and alcohol, those were the reasons he couldn’t get out of bed, had insomnia , depression, fits of rage , anxiety etc
It appears it is actually much more complicated than that. Look up the article titled "Elvis Presley: Head trauma, autoimmunity, pain and early death". It is exhaustive and present a more complete picture of his health than we have know so far.
@@violinmke I would use the word troubled, not screwed up, that's disrespectful. As someone who works in Mental Health, you need to be careful with labels.
I take Zoloft and Xanax but stay clear from alcohol, drugs and any other non prescribed meds. Some days are tough but I stick to the minimum amount of meds..
Plus . was reason he couldn’t use the bathroom too . Said he had 4 mths stool in him when he died . Don’t know if that’s true or possible for that length of time .
elvis rests in peace and no longer suffer from the long list of ilnesses he had and the pain he was in. The drugs helped the pain. He is still King. Move On.
Cole Son common sense prevails. Gr8 comment. P.S. to all, they should just drop it now! Why not concentrate on curing the world's drugs, doctor's & music industry's problems from anew (or wotever their stupid misguided motive is) as just banging-on 'n on 'n on about Elvis achieves nothing (but higher ratings probably?) it's getting tiring. Another decade starts & they're still banging on 'n on 'n on 'n on......🤮
@@bubbles3638 does not matter any more. his legend and talent still with us.We all knew his flaws and imperfections, his illnesses etc, even his indresecretions. But we stl love him because Elvis was never deliberately malicious or arrogant, no I did not like his cheating on Priscilla., But that was their business. He was a to d man all and all. That's all that matters. Let's remember his gifts to the world, especially after disgraceful attack at Graceland this week.
I don't care what he died from...it seems to me that some like rubbing his nose in it! Bottom line...you can't judge a man until you walked in his shoes...and there is nobody who can fit in the shoes Elvis walked in! Rest in peace Elvis..you will always be loved...no matter what!
He didn't take all that many drugs they were Trace amounts meaning he didn't take them all that day or even in the previous week and this is just war on drugs the beginning of it when they started to get on pills and stuff instead of cocaine and heroin now they have total control over people with the f****** pain medication for people that need them and that's all this b******* was was more control by a globalist elite that wants the whole world in their control everything and don't buy into it cuz it's all horseshit
@@wallacesnow439 I suppose you are referring to his father's advice to his then college age son that to avoid anti hispanic racism (Geraldo's father was Puerto Rican) he should use a more non ethnic name....Gerry Riviera/ Jerry Rivers. You must remember that when G.R. was starting out as a college student at University of Arizona at Tucson, that he was an olive skinned ethnic looking brash young man with a heavy New York accent and this was in 1965 ot 1966 when other than white races were not yet easily accepted. But, as luck would have it, Gerry's half Puerto Rican blood actually worked toward his ADVANTAGE. When he returned to New York after gaining his law degree, it turned out that the ABC TV NEWS DEPT. was looking to broaden their viewership by adding an HISPANIC REPORTER to their staff. Thus Jerry Riviera was happily re reborn back to GERALDO RIVERA!!!! To great success I might add. Now to your nasty comment about him being a so-called 'fraud' you might also be referring to the case of the EMPTY TOMB OF AL CAPONE. That fiascos was not G.R.'s fault. He only took that job for the money never suspecting it would turn out that way; making him the butt of jokes to this day. He laughed ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!!! Thirdly, regarding your "all his life" phrasing you may be referring to his multiple marriages. Let's put it this way.......women first fall in love with his romantic charm ( as I did in the mid sixties but THAT'S another story ) then they fall in love with G.R. 's celebrity and finally, they love his money. But after a few years of his rather aggressive personality and perhaps a bit of womanizing, they have had ENOUGH. So, Mr. Naysayer, all that being said, he is always his AUTHENTIC SELF NOT A FRAUD! Take it or leave it and I guess YOU would be in the latter category. Yes? I would gladly relive the time I spent being ONE OF HIS SEVERAL GIRL FRIENDS. Great memories for this old lady. P.S. Geraldo Rivera is STILL working and no doubt enjoying his privileged lifestyle. What in the heck have YOU done with YOUR life??? Sincerely, Jo-Anna Lee Edwards San Fernando Valley, Calif.
Elvis had so much ADHD, and nervous energy, he's extremely high-strung, that's why his stage presence was so powerful. his sexual prowess in creativity was a combination of lightning, and thunder, backed by a 100' swell Tsunami, amazing energy.
@L G one of the hallmarks of ADHD is hyperfixation though (lord knows I have enough tattoo-quality pieces of art from my son’s art hyperfixation, and recordings of my son playing instruments at a near expert level after just a few weeks of picking them up).
He was perfect in his own way talent and kind of had manners and treating people with respect including his fans and his elders. And he was super super star that is still a star today for decades after his death.
ELVIS WAS .SURROUNDED BY LEACHES AND DISHONEST GREEDY INDIVIDUALS! HIS HEALTH ISSUES WERE A RESULT OF HIS DNA FROM FAMILY HISTORY. HE HAD NINE COMPLICATIONS WITHIN HIS BODY. MEDICAL REPORTS WERE NOT CORRECT AT THE TIME .OF HIS DEATH. HIS DIET AND LIFE STYLE WERE NOT HEALTHY. HE MAY HAVE MARRIED PRISCILLA BALLIEU, WHO TO MANY OPIONIONS FELT SHE HAD NOT PROTECTED HIM, OR GUIDED HIM TO LIVING WELL UNDER THE BEST GUIDANCE. THROUGH IGNORANCE OF THE MEDICAL PHYSICIANS AND KNOWLEDGE OF HIS CONDITION, ELVIS DIED BECAUSE OF THEIR INCORRECT DESCISION!. ELVIS REQUIRED STRONG PEOPLE TO PROTECT HIM FROM HARM. SUCH A GREAT TALENT HAD TO SUCCUMB TO EVIL AND GREEDY INDIVIDUALS WHO NEVER GAVE A DAMN ABOUT ELVIS .PRESLEY. WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE , WHETHER IT BE FAMILY , FRIENDS, FEMALES, MANAGERS , ELVIS COULD HAVE LIVED AND REACH OLD AGE .RESPECTFULLY! HE WAS EXPLOITED! IRMA VAN EYSSEN.
This is the cover-up. No stomach contents to analyse means prescription lists, oral accounts of delivery of drugs, can be 'doctored'. Not much emotion visible in his stepbrothers and others of his entourage. Chilling.
I listened to Rick Stanley tell Joan Rivers that it was either him or me. You're so right about lack of emotion. this includes Priscilla. Everyone seems so scripted.
This was the very first TV program to reveal Elvis' addiction to drugs. It shocked America when it aired. Geraldo did a great job investigating this story. Elvis came to a Whitehaven apothecary in 1974 to get a prescription filled. It was located next to the Faronia Square apartments. I left 10 minutes before he arrived.
When I saw the last concert in Kansas City Mo.. I was sitting in the nose bleed section I felt I could almost touch the top of the arena. All I could see was what looked like little ants running around on the stage , I could hear the music, but really could not even see Elvis.. I just saw a large white guy walking back and forth across the stage but could not see any features to say that was Elvis. My friend and myself were going to try and get closer to the stage. It took about 20 minutes to find how to get to the stage. There was an aisle that ran from one side of the arena to the other, it was right in front of the stage.. there were about a hundred men and women trying to get down to the front of the stage, but without a ticket for that area the Security Guards would not let anyone by..one old man was coming from those seats and was unhappy with something, saying he was leaving, he had seen Elvis many times and was going home, I asked if He was keeping the ticket as a souvenir and he handed it to me saying here, you get it signed. Well both my friend and I could not get pass the Guards with one ticket, so I gave her the ticket and she went what about you, I told her to go on and get by where other folks were standing in that area by the stage.. si she used the ticket to get down stage front.. I said to the folks standing there that there was enough of us to rush the Guards, and thats what happened. We all mad dashed past the guards and ran to the stage. At this time Elvis was singing the song that he gives all these scarves out to women. He wipes his face and bends down giving a girl the scarf and a kiss. And walks to the other side of the stage. So he is going back and forth across the stage, and men and women were running from one side to the other, trying to get to touch Elvis and get scarf or kiss. When he went to the other side of the stage everyone ran that way, I stayed on this side knowing he would come back this way. Well now here he comes and he wipes his face with a scarf, he is looking at me, and he reaches down to touch me and I reach up to get a scarf and touch him, and we are about 2 inches from touching hands, I could feel the heat from his body, then a herd of girls ran up my back knocking me to the floor and thats the last thing I remember, until one of Elvis's security( hired by the arena), helped me up and my friend asking if I was ok. Then I was asking her where Elvis was because I was kind of still unsteady, and over the speaker system we heard," Elvis has left the building". After the show I was very disappointed because I spent so much time trying to get down to the stage to touch Elvis that I only remember a couple things about the concert. One was him making fun of how many outfits he goes thru from splitting them , and I remember the song from 2001 Space Odyssey playing and thats my memory of his last concert... When ever I tell the story and say how disappointed I was, Folks would say that I had a great story to tell..
Judy McGaugh That IS a great story. What a precious memory for you. Too bad you were trampled. That must have been frightening. My Elvis story?? I won a single ticket in a radio contest to one of his last concerts. The stage had seating that curved around . That's where I was. Elvis had to occasionally turn his back to the front seats to come back to perform for us. There he was finishing up a song with a flourishing arm gesture and some drops of his sweat flew off onto my cheek. I didn't wash my face for a week. 😄😄 ❤ 💋
I waited on a Gentleman in The 90's while I lived in Beaufort SC that Looked very much like him and I had made a comment about that and was treated very good as I waited on their table.
Clearly he was lonely. He was very famous. Under a lot of stress. Wife leaves him. He lost his mom. Didn't have a mature woman in his life to take care of him. His doctors are responsible for his death. They should have warned him and perhaps not given him the pills. He was murdered. He needed someone to care for him. People behind his death should be charged. His manager wasn't a good guy. He should have told Elvis to focus more on his health and less on shows. He should have done international shows too. Elvis was killed under pressure and closed environment.
People with power like that don't follow what their doctors order. They go behind their doctor's backs. They follow the drive caused by the drug. The doctors had no control over Elvis. Everybody wanted a piece of him
I don’t think he was lonely. I think he was sad for losing Priscilla, but their friendship was ongoing and they seemed to be at peace with each other. But I do I think he felt trapped and imprisoned by his own fame and stuck to controlling Col. Parker. But as to loneliness, I think he finally matured to the point where he could appreciate a relationship with Ginger Alden. But no one could ever hold Elvis accountable for his bad health decisions. Not even col. Parker.
Same as the doctors trying to revive JFK when his brains had been blown out... that’s just what happens when it’s a famous person. They don’t want any room for questioning whether they did all they could. I’m sure there’s pressure from every angle.
My brother was fatally hit by a car, pronounced DOA and yet, they still tried to revive him at the hospital. The docs were doing their jobs. I don't know what the world was like in 1977, but I do know that medical malpractice runs rampant now and people in medical professions have to do all the proper procedures. There have been a few cases where a person has been revived. Its rare, but it happens. Besides, it was a famous person, so they went the extra mile and hoped against hope.
Elvis died at 9:30 a.m. that is when his housekeeper heard the loud thump from the bathroom. So by the time Ginger went in the bathroom, Elvis had been gone for for over 4 hours.
EH !!!! WAT !!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! 4hrs !!!!!!!! wats up with her wat was the girl thinking of sleeping while her boyfriend is dying a few feet away he should never have been with her ,clearly not cut out to look after her man she was she was NOT suitable for him, why she not check on him she was told by cook to check if hes gone in the Bathroom for too long. Ginger admitted to taking a sleeping pill & going to sleep but why when she knew she had to check on him? when she does finally decides to check he's found dead had she checked sooner it might have been a whole different ball game !!! On her Facebook page she was asked if she had any regrets not checking on Elvis she said flat out NO!! i really thought she might have said how she felt bad blamed herself how she won't forgive herself for taking a sleeping pill but no, none of the above ! she was more upset at being asked the question!, how could she be so cold & callous! After they split Linda rung the house every day checking on Elvis she didn't have to she wasn't with him anymore but she cared enough.she would tell Joe Esposito to go check see if he was ok he said he was fine she said please Joe go check on him for me she cared enough about Elvis she did so much for him she saved his life a few times. She took food out of his mouth when he fell asleep while eating because he had taken pills to go to bed after eating.
@@gassbaggerwoods5955 I do not think Linda could have saved him. The first drug found in his system was codeine. The dentist had prescribed it to him the night before. Now why on earth if you are highly allergic to codeine, would you (1) have one of the guys fill it for you, and (2) take it. Makes you wonder huh?
she was too busy sleeping to care Being his girlfriend she should have been there for him she couldn't handle him at his worst wat was she doing with him Elvis needed someone to watch over him because of the danger of all the prescription drugs he was taking she knew she had to watch him cook told her if he is gone to the bathroom too long check on him by her own admission she took a sleeping pill and promptly went to sleep by the time she decides to wake he's dead! had she checked sooner it might have been a whole different ball game! Even if she couldn't save him she would have been there so he didn't die alone On her Facebook page she was asked if she had any regrets not checking on Elvis she said flat out NO! i really thought she might have blamed herself how she won't forgive herself for taking a sleeping pill and going to sleep but no none of the above! she was more upset at being asked the question! how she could be so cold & callous If you were his girlfriend part of the job of being his girlfriend you had to watch him 24/7 After they split Linda rung the house every day checking on Elvis she didn't have to she wasn't with him anymore but she cared enough she would tell Joe Esposito to go check see if he was ok he said he was fine she said please Joe go check on him for me please she did so much for him. Elvis could fall asleep while eating she saved him from choking on food a few times She took food out of his mouth when he fell asleep while eating because he had taken pills Linda would never go to sleep while Elvis was still up and about.
Ginger recounts the evening in such a flat manner even though there’s highly unusual activity: 2 packets of pills, she’s sleeping until 2:00 in the afternoon, he’s reading a book on psychic energy. His world became so twisted up. What a talented and charismatic human being.
Right and she said he was taking pills to sleep then she tells him not to fall asleep in the bathroom… like she knew something was about to happen and she just went to sleep 🤷🏻♀️ very odd
She's flat in the recount because She's aware Hindsight is always 20/20 and probably feels a lot of guilt. Strange how things in the moment just don't always register the way we think they should. She was sleeping until 2 because they were all taking substances, like I said in the moment it seems normal, it's when you look back on it with fresh eyes that the scary realizations come forth.
As a healthcare worker, we see a lot of people having cardio problems while trying to have a bowel movement and if Elvis was taking a lot of sedatives, his colon may have slowed the natural movement, where he would have been straining, which could cause his heart to go into V-tach or some other arhythemia. I have watched heart monitors and can see a patient go into tachycardia, while trying to have a bowel movement; however, this is generally with very old or very ill folks. The drugs in his system could have definitely put a strain on his heart and lungs as well.
Not to mention his other internal organs and who knows how long he started taking prscribed drugs. I have seen a lot of internal dammage to organs because of adiction to prescribed drugs. Addiction as most of us know doesn't happen straight away but over long term use, just as with self medication, the body slowly needs more and more to get the same feeling from the drugs they use.
It is a tragedy what happened to Elvis. I think Elvis pushed the Doctors to write prescriptions I think the Doctors have to take responsibility for that also I wish someone would of stood up to Elvis and made him accountable for his part in his drug abuse love you Elvis RIP

I love Elvis he was a grown ass man worth millions and wanted to take drugs so that's what he did and at the same time pleased millions with his music let him rest in peace
This poor man was stalked in life & in death 😢 Truth be known, he was probably one of the last so called celebrities that was actually a good decent person completely consumed by the machine known as fame!! Elvis paved the way for every fame whore known to man & none of us have the right to judge him or anyone else for how they chose to live or die!!! This is narcissism at it's finest🤬
He loved his mother more than anything understanderbly. When Gladys was alive she would watch out for him deeply.I do believe what I've heard maybe God does only want certain people to sing his songs .
@Hank Allen I blame his creepy incestuous mother for psychologically screwing him over in the first place. YES I believe she did something to that man as a young boy which psychologically destroyed him for life with shame and boundary issues amd inability to really bond with other women
@@yeetnama9094 This is Hank Allen. The one reply saying insidious mom it wasn't me who said that. I would never say anything bad about his mom. Who ever did that to me is wrong.
I believe being sent away to Germany and his mother passing away during that time was what really set him off to a life of depression. Having to deal with losing a parent at such a young age, probably feeling guilty because he wasn’t there and also being a very young naïve country boy trying to deal with being this huge star is not an easy thing for anyone. Let’s not forget that Elvis was the first artist that because this overnight mega success , this was all new to people back then.
He had a lot of fun and laughter and partying for someone with a life of depression. He created a world with different wake and sleep hours to be away from the crazy fans mobbing him and this cost huge money.. as well as so generous
Must be so upsetting and unsettling for Mr P's immediate family and friends, will reiterate on another posting - leave the poor man alone and let him R.I P, thank you very much.
You must be brainwashed by the war on drugs he died because he had a bad f****** heart his family on his mother's side all died young and he was going to too and I don't know why you people insist on this you need to mind your own affair
Tim Godard Replying to your comment.... And yet, people still use drugs.. (Medications and drugs) Medications can't help you if you don't take them as intended.
I encourage everyone to read the exhaustive article "Elvis Presley: Head Trauma, autoimmunity, pain and early death". His health had been deteriorating for a long time and yes, surely he was using drugs but the reasons why are not as simple as has been presented.
I had never heard what drugs he was taking...OH MY GOD!!! How was he functional?? My heart has always broken for Elvis. Surrounded by yes men and greedy hands. He was surrounded by these people but he was so alone. I hope he has found the peace he yearned for during his life.
Being a recovering addict I can say, that no one would or could stand in my way of using medications. My preference was OxyContin.... at any rate, I can understand why no one could stop him. And it didn't mean they wasn't his true friend, nor love him, nor does it mean they didn't have his best interest at heart. If you watch other interviews the body guard was exhausted trying to go day by day emotionally & physically to the pace EP was going. I do get suspicious when I hear this Dr Nick gave SO MUCH medication back to back. You could literally be in hospice on your death bed & wouldn't come close to getting the strength or amount of medication, in which EP got in the last few months of his life. With that said, I find it peculiar that this doctor had borrowed so much money from EP, & was in a financial strain. When you see the amount of meds given, one can only assume, that ANY DOCTOR WOULD KNOW GIVING THE QUANTITY AND STRENGTH TO AN ALREADY ADDICTED PATIENT - WOULD INEVITABLY CAUSE AN OVERDOSE. Accidental I'm sure, but and OD nonetheless. It seems it would THEN make the borrowed money PAID IN FULL once the lender/patient died. Without a doubt, the doctor wasn't giving this massive amount of narcotics to someone he would expect to live very much longer.
@MsTea i think you are correct. I dont think Dr.Nick tried intentially to kill him to get rid of the loan. I think it was an eye for an eye situation. I think because Dr. Nick had borrowed that amount of money from Elvis, that he felt an obligation to write a prescription for whatever Elvis requested. And him and Elvis both would benefit from this arrangement. Now thats just my take on it. But you did hit it dead on the nail that those loans was the reason Dr. Nick gave him all them drugs though.
Elvis never forgot what it was like to be poor, and because of that, he had great compassion for others in need, and therefore gave away almost his entire fortune by the time he had died! Elvis hurt only himself, but done more for the world through his music than almost anyone ever in the Entertainment business, thanks to his incredible voice!! Then along comes Geraldo, in an effort to try and destroy whatever's left of Elvis's image and reputation, after his bodyguards finished his will to live by publicly trashing him, out of pure vindictiveness, at his most vulnerable time in life, after they were the ones who got Elvis started on the drugs to begin with!! Once a person like Elvis got started on Drugs, common sense should have told ANYONE around Elvis, that it wouldn't end well!! When it comes down to it, Elvis is and was responsible for his life and his death, and he's never coming back so try to remember him for all the great qualities and enjoyment he gave to this world!!
_after the bodyguards got Elvis started on drugs?_ Huh? Thats nonsense....it was the other way around, some of them had to take drugs to keep up with his schedule.
I knew Elvis's hairdresser that lived at Graceland for 7 years. He used to tell the guys around him that smoked marijuana that the wacky tobacky was going to kill them. The irony of it all. If there is a rock and roll heaven, they have one hell of a band and Elvis is still king.
I don't remember seeing Rivaldo's report. What an eye opener. EVERYBODY failed, not just Elvis: the doctors the entourage (Memphis Mafia) the pharmacist Many, many people. Now I realize that Elvis was ultimately to blame. We are all responsible for ourselves. But it's kinda sickening to listen to the excuses, isn't it? I didn't hear anyone say, "wow, I feel just terrible about what happened to my friend." But boy, they don't mind throwing him way up under that bus. Sometimes we all just need a little help from SOMEONE. We need to be saved from ourselves. Even Mrs. Gladys' very spoiled man-child needed help. If you couldn't help him? Okay. But don't be so happy to bite the hand that fed your leech ass all those years.
No one could tell Elvis what to do. He was the king. Everyone listened to him. Everyone was afraid of him of getting fired. Cilla couldn’t tell him. She was a little girl. He did what he wanted.
The bathroom where Elvis died should have been left alone for the natural process of investigation just in case foul play accured. But instead the bathroom was cleaned up. Plus Elvis was only a human being and could not swallow 25 tablets a day without dying sooner than he did. Therefore it's only fair to assume people around him were taking some of those tablets too.
There will never be another like Elvis Presley he gave everything and he have a poor country boy from Tupelo Mississippi he died the king of rock ‘n’ roll and nobody’s perfect everybody wants to touch something that was famous but he gave everything he had that’s what made him the king of rock ‘n’ roll rest in peace Elvis Presley there will never be another
He wanted to make enough money to provide for his family. Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for. Everything comes at a cost. For Elvis, it was the loss of personal freedom, living a life of isolation.
When I visited Hawaii, the locals spoke very highly of him. I wouldn't expect anything less. After all, he did a concert there to help raise funds for a memorial centre at Pearl Harbour.
Its crazy he can take so many pills, the human body is amazing in a tragic way, 99.999% of people could not take 2 or 3 of the prescriptions without surviving. The fact he was taking that stuff for years is insane. I had surgery and was given Diludad in the hospital, that stuff is powerful. Its truly amazing how many years he managed to survive.
Eminem said he was taking 80 valiums a night to sleep, in addition to vicodin and methadone, which he overdosed on and almost died. Amazing his body could handle that many Valium. My brother suffered from mental illness, and used to abuse his klonopin, taking 10 at a time. Unfortunately he died of an accidental od at age 34 on 2007, due to a mixture of benzos and heroin. He didn't even do heroin, but his girl did, and she was sleeping with him at my parents home when she woke up screaming that my brother wasn't breathing. I believe she must have either given him a line of heroin to help him sleep or he just decided to do a line while she was sleeping. Unfortunately benzos and opiates are a deadly combination, due to asphyxiation and you just stop breathing. I imagine that is what happened to Elvis. So tragic. That last performance of Unchained Melody is so powerful and emotional... probably his best performance ever... who knew it would be his farewell performance. 🙏🏻😢
well you dont start off taking all that, you start as prescribed..then take extra then you build your tolerance where you get to a point that you can take 10-20 an barely feel it

@@sugarplum6818 I just watched the video you linked, and I can’t figure out why anyone would think that Bob guy is Elvis? Quick question - Why would Elvis fake his death? What would be the point?
Red confronted him about it. And just like everybody else he told him” you don’t understand I need it “ and when red argued with him about it he pulled a gun on

All professions have "occupational illnesses"..professional truck drivers have hemmroids & actors have drug abuse. Both with the same goal they get treated just to keep on trucking...& most die young...RIP Elivis..I so understand & wish you happiness in the light of our Holy Spirit

Elvis was the most Phenomenal Entertainer of All Time and He ALWAYS WILL BE!!! I wish people would just talking Bad about him. He had so much on his shoulders that No One Person can carry. He also had the Most grueling schedule of ANY Entertainer in history. Rest in Peace you Beautiful Soul and Person. You will Always be Remembered with Love and Never Forgotten. Btw......Vernon Presley Sealed Elvis's Real cause of Death until 2027. But we "Do know for a "Fact" that he did die from a Heart attack " Period!!!
Thank you! Police arrived when I found my husband had died in his sleep.....the dispatcher at 911 Who I’d called and the police tried to do CPR on a body that even I could realize had been dead for hours ....I understand protocols but it seemed cruel to see what they were trying.
Elvis presence in this world is the most powerful event I can possibly think , he was something else , made with the best there was , amazingly talent , charisma and gorgeous looks , Elvis #1
I always felt her and her family took advantage of him at that time. Elvis was not doing well and I think loneliness and his ego looked for a younger woman.
In the book written by Ginger Alden, she stated that morning Elvis could not sleep so he took a second packet of his sleep medication. Ginger, suffering from heavy menstrual cramps had taken Tylenol with codeine, had fallen asleep. During the trial of Dr. Nick, Aunt Delta (Vernon's sister) told Ginger that Elvis had called her that morning and she gave Elvis a third packet. She was frightened because she thought that may have led to his death. In her book, she did not paint him as the drug addict some others have. It is possible that he overdosed that day.
Ive been close to getting a heart attack and it is very uncomfortable painful there were so many symptoms he was probably already having but he let it pass too long if he had been diagnosed early of a health problem associated with heart problems or factors of heart problems he would still be alive but most men always wait til the last moment to go get medical attention and thats why alot of men die earlier than women do just my perspective of it
of all the Stars that have passed away,,,I wish it wasn't Elvis,he was far too young to go, still sadly missed today,,I'm sure millions of fans feel the same... there's only one KING.
Rebecca Harrison my father never wanted to be called The King I love rock and roll the only reason why he never wanted to be called that is because he just wanted to be an Entertainer wanted to be able to sing he's enjoyed doing it but also the Carney of his manager also screwed his life this is why he did what he had to do and he found his way out there's a lot more to the stories if you keep searching you'll find it sincere TCB third son of Elvis Presley rocking and rolling baby
Here I am, year 2020, still thinking about Elvis Presley. I always wondered, if pricilla hadn’t left him, if she got help for him, Elvis would’ve lived on. I think Pricilla is the only woman he truly loved.
@Darlene Ketterman well she was the only woman in the world elvis married and only woman to have his child . jst a pity she never bore him a son the world has been deprived of seeing elvis presleys son
@Darlene Ketterman he was forced into marriage... why do you think Parker had a hold on him...he was blackmailed otherwise he would of been exposed...pricilla was 14 when they met and if he didn't marry her they would of exposed him.. he couldn't go to Europe because Parker had false documents he was wanted in Holland for something im not sure what it was.
I believe he is Bob Joyce...2 men who worked in music for a total of 82 years experience between them...they did all the tests on voice recognition..length of breaths timing of his words and they did a few...when the end results came up both looked at each other and they said they had there jaws in there hands...the closest any impersonator is to elvis voice is miles off..but Bob Joyce is very close...if bob joyce isn't or wasn't elvis then im the king himself.
Elvis' story is so sad. I was 23, sitting at my desk, typing an insurance poliçy when the news of his passing came over the radio. I was so upset that i called it a day and went home. My sister and mom w were both in tears. We loved him dearly like family almost. I hope he has found the comfort and peace he was searching for and is singing once again with his loved ones and the angels. RIP Elvis ! You will never be forgotten and always loved.
It was his time God gave him a life none after would ever receive. But the life he gave was a life none would want. Being known as the kind was a rush was incredible outstanding also hard impossible hard to remain on that level his death came at the exact right time because of it he lives on as the king if not for dying he would have became something none of us would really wish to see. God works in mysterious ways.
Honey you lied when you said me you loved me ...and I had no cause to doubt ...but I'd rather go on hearing your lies...than to go on living without you ...now the stage is bare ...and I'm standing there ...with emptiness all around ....and if you won't come back to me ...then they can bring the curtain down.
FairwayJack even without the herado show, it was well know Elvis and his group was pumping lots of drugs. You never know. Its unbelievable what a body will take before killing the person weather it be drugs or alcohol. But it must of been alot because age 42 is really young. Did you read the article that lisa marie did 15 years ago with playboy magazine. Its pretty interesting. It really gives you a insight to her life and it makes you realize who wd want to be raised in that kind of life.
I am 49 and I had no idea the amount of drugs that he had been prescribed. There were a few dates that were mentioned concerning Dr. Nick and I wasnt aware of those. Thank you for reporting and then for sharing.
Bless You🙏
I talk to him too
And his wife Priscilla my uncle took his mom to the hospital to see the baby they were in the army together pretty cool stuff huh
Sure u did

Oh it does if you ever read what was really going on with him ,I blame the doctor! He had a bowl obstruction, which was really bad!
Beautifully said, so true.
I agree , 💯 my favorite song is now MARIE,🌹🕊️R,I,P, Mr, Presley, you were and very special singer

What I love ❤️ about elvis presley is he never forgot where he came from.
Amen 🙏Very special man and very loved ❤️❤️
And always gave back.
Elvis was so famous and got shut in from the outside. He became truly depressed and lonely even though people were around him. I always loved Elvis feel so bad he wasn't happy. Elvis put on a brave face. Long live Elvis !!!!!
He CHOSE to be a shut in....he wasn't FORCED to be a shut in. Quit lying to yourself.
@@zamiel3 if he went out he would have been mobbed
He was human, he had flaws and problems, just like everyone else.

ur missing the whole point im not talking about elvis twin im talking about the former elvis being jesse dna says it to be true and so does people passing lie detector test or that photo of jesse when he first meet his grandson benjiI have constructed this web site in order that my name (on my own website) will come up in search results when anyone does a search for my name. This is being done to counteract the rumors and lies about me on other websites
I will say only that Elvis’s/Jesse’s and Dr.
When asked, Jesse said, “Yes and you can use my name too!”
Footnote:
It is now 2020 and I have had this website for over 11 years.
You can shut it out for a time but it’s not going away.“
This website is a labor of love for Jesse. “Just like a tree that’s planted by the water, we shall not be moved.“
I, most of all, thank Jesse for his loyalty and never wavering support of me and the work which I do to maintain this place for the REAL truth about Elvis Aron Presley to be shared with those fans who come here because they love the man behind the image and not just the image.I am so very honored to announce that Wanda June Hill who was a very close personal friend and confidante of Elvis’ for 15 years, right up to the day he “retired”, has written a statement and letter of endorsement for me to post on my site.
This statement by Wanda plus the page proving that Jesse’s DNA does match the first cousins on Elvis’ Smith and Presley’s sides of his family should be enough to convince even the most die-hard skeptic.
yea we all absolutely love Jesse who was Elvis Presley I just want the
truth out and why he went in to hiding that's why the man who claimed to
be Elvis Presley back in 2002 and even wrote a book I regarding that
why his DNA match's both sides of the Elvis Presley family tree even dr
Hinton who was Elvis aka Jesse's dr why he passed a lie detector test
when asked is Elvis Presley alive and he said absolutely it's the
absolute truth dr Hinton was even given gifts from Jesse like PJs from
muhumad Ali cufflinks from Anna Margret and even rings of Elvis and
that's why after Elvis supposedly passed away a photo of him was taken
in the pool house of Graceland and then Graceland denied it was him and
blocked that door or the fact that Priscilla once said on Oprah oh I was
talking to Elvis the other day ? People might think I'm crazy but I
have seen proof that not only did Elvis fake his death in 1977 but then
there's that photo of Jesse aka Elvis Presley with his grandson Benji
storm the first time he meet him in 1994 Jesse has identical moles on
his legs as Elvis it has to be him or why does Elvis tomb say Elvis
Aaron Presley his real names Elvis Aron the to a they put on his tombs
because the first a is for the letter alive I just want the truth about
Jesse who is Elvis pls be honest Linda Priscilla Lisa Marie Riley and
anyone else who knows Jesse is in fact Elvis or explain to me why
Jesse's DNA match's Elvis and why his handwriting match elvis Below you
will see two DNA reports which prove that Jesse’s DNA matches first
cousins from both sides of Elvis’ family.
The first lab report is a
comparison of the DNA between Jesse and Donna Presley…the Paternal first
cousin of Elvis. Donna is the daughter of one of Elvis’ father’s
sisters, however she uses the Presley last name.Below You will see the
DNA lab report which is a comparison of the DNA between Jesse and Brenda
Smith…the Maternal 1st cousin of Elvis. Brenda is the daughter of one
of Elvis’ mother’s brothers. Jesse’s DNA was obtained by FOX 8 TV in
2002 from a saliva kit which Jesse furnished to them. The second Jesse’s
DNA was obtained from a letter envelope which Jesse licked in 2008.
These two samples matched each other and they matched the DNA of Elvis’
two first cousins on both sides of Elvis’ family. This is the final FOX 8
News report regarding Dr. Hinton and Jesse. In this report you will see
a final DNA report which shows that Jesse is, indeed, related to Elvis’
two first cousins. One on the Smith side of the family and the other on
the Presley side of the family. There is only one other person on earth
who would match these relatives and that is Elvis’ double first cousin
Patsy Presley and one may rest assured that she did not let Jesse use
her DNA.
Of course, Jesse did not come out publicly in 2002. He had
been telling me, with no doubt whatsoever that he was NOT coming out.
Hinton and Felix Johnson thought that they could manipulate and pressure
Jesse into coming out. I tried to get word to them several times that
he was not coming out. They ignored my messages and continued to lie
saying that he was coming out in 2002.Below is the latest news about the
delayed release of the Elvis biopic movie which has been in the works
for a long while. I probably will not be viewing this movie, after all,
as I have gotten the impression that this may be an unfair portrayal of
Col. Parker. If it turns out to be a good account of the real man who
Col. Parker was, I may change my mind.
I want to emphasize that in
all the years I have known Jesse, he has NEVER once said a single bad
word about Col. Parker. On the contrary, he has always spoken of him
with gratitude, appreciation, and respect. He told me that when Col.
Parker died, he did not know what he was going to do. They were close
right up until the time Col. Parker passed away. We owe a debt of
gratitude to Col. Parker for coming up with the plan to fake Elvis’
death so that he could survive and still be with us to this day.
It
hurts me when I hear and see people saying words of hate about Col.
Parker because I know how much he helped Jesse through all the years
until he passed away. Col. Parker and Dr. Nick both have been badly
misportrayed and misunderstood. Jesse told me that they both took the
secret to their graves.
Tom Hanks is playing the part of Col. Parker
in the upcoming movie. Below is an excerpt of an article quoting what
Priscilla Presley had to say about Col. Parker. In this instance, she
did speak the truth:
Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, had
dinner with their friend Priscilla Presley in the hopes of getting a
better take on the man he was playing. Hanks said he was taken aback by
her reaction.
“I was expecting to hear stories about the distrust she
had for ‘Colonel Tom’ Parker over these many years. And she said, ‘No.
He was a wonderful man, and I wish he was alive today. He took really
great care of us. He was a scoundrel in his way,'” Hanks said.

I blame Colonel Tom Parker for making him tour when he didn't want to! The colonel that weasel took half of all his earnings 😡
Rosie Pena Iagree Coloneel Parker was a greedy manager who made Elvis tour and too most his money.
R.I.P Elvis
Very very sad. But either way he's gone and left too early.

This just breaks my heart. I saw him in '76. I was 10 yrs old and I've been a life long fan. Bless his heart😭 I don't think anyone was aware of how to help. Col Parker was the pusher. He had to perform. He tried the best way he knew how.

I wish you the best. Thanks for sharing your story.
Elvis was a great man. He just fell in with the wrong people, the kind who did not have his best interests at hearts (yes, you, Colonel Tom Parker!).

So sad he was so drugged up and these doctors and friends just stood by and let it happen. Just watching this in 2022 and I miss this kind of reporting. Kudos to Geraldo for excellent investigative reporting. I wish there were still investigative journalists out there.
“These doctors and friends just stood by and let it happen?”
Elvis would fire anyone that wouldn’t stay in their lane.
Agree!

Wow thanks for the update doctor Cj lol my god we didn’t know any of that info after all these years 😉 maybe u should write a book . NOT
Elvis had a mega colon and it would twist.
He was too good of a person in a cruel selfish world
It’s such a sad loss 😢

He was amazing and great but let’s stick to the topic of his cause of death.

what i find stunning is that these patients have all the money in the world and they end up in the care of weirdo half assed doctors.

I suppose you are referring to his father's advice to his then college age son that to avoid anti hispanic racism (Geraldo's father was Puerto Rican) he should use a more non ethnic name....Gerry Riviera/ Jerry Rivers.

I saw Elvis concert at Long Beach, CA 1972 he wore a baby blue jumpsuit-looking amazing-we were in about 8th row from stage-so awesome !
Elvis was Great! We will always love him and cherish him. He gave his all for his music and his Fans.💕
Judy McGaugh
That IS a great story.

Parker.
How can a Doctors team even attempt to shock and revive a man where rigor mortise has already set in?
Same as the doctors trying to revive JFK when his brains had been blown out... that’s just what happens when it’s a famous person. They don’t want any room for questioning whether they did all they could. I’m sure there’s pressure from every angle.
Darrell Crawford for effect
Haley Little: Same for MJ! He was dead for hours too!🙏
My brother was fatally hit by a car, pronounced DOA and yet, they still tried to revive him at the hospital.
They did the same on my 16 year old son who died in 1991 from heart. No drugs or alcohol were found at all
Elvis died at 9:30 a.m. that is when his housekeeper heard the loud thump from the bathroom.
Ginger admitted to taking a sleeping pill & going to sleep but why when she knew she had to check on him? when she does finally decides to check he's found dead had she checked sooner it might have been a whole different ball game
Makes you wonder huh?
she was too busy sleeping to care
Being his girlfriend she should have been there for him she couldn't handle him at his worst wat was she doing with him Elvis needed someone to watch over him because of the danger of all the prescription drugs he was taking she knew she had to watch him cook told her if he is gone to the bathroom too long check on him by her own admission she took a sleeping pill and promptly went to sleep by the time she decides to wake he's dead! had she checked sooner it might have been a whole different ball game! Even if she couldn't save him she would have been there so he didn't die alone On her Facebook page she was asked if she had any regrets not checking on Elvis she said flat out NO! i really thought she might have blamed herself how she won't forgive herself for taking a sleeping pill and going to sleep but no none of the above! she was more upset at being asked the question! how she could be so cold & callous
If you were his girlfriend part of the job of being his girlfriend you had to watch him 24/7
After they split Linda rung the house every day checking on Elvis she didn't have to she wasn't with him anymore but she cared enough she would tell Joe Esposito to go check see if he was ok he said he was fine she said please Joe go check on him for me please she did so much for him. Elvis could fall asleep while eating she saved him from choking on food a few times She took food out of his mouth when he fell asleep while eating because he had taken pills Linda would never go to sleep while Elvis was still up and about.
Hey people Leave Elvis in peace. Stop the nasty gossip. Let Elvis Rest In Peace. He deserves that.
Well she was 20 yrs old..she had no clue..and 20 back then was way more innocent than 20 today lol
More than not, she was a pill head too.
@@songsalon7868 probably, im sure he was hooking all his friends up..no way he consumed that many pills a day himself

Addiction as most of us know doesn't happen straight away but over long term use, just as with self medication, the body slowly needs more and more to get the same feeling from the drugs they use.
kathy: this makes sense to me.
I was told in nursing class, he died on the toilet straining, taking a Shit
It is a tragedy what happened to Elvis. I think Elvis pushed the Doctors to write prescriptions I think the Doctors have to take responsibility for that also I wish someone would of stood up to Elvis and made him accountable for his part in his drug abuse love you Elvis RIP

So long ago but can never forget the kindness of Elvis
He had a lot of fun and laughter and partying for someone with a life of depression. He created a world with different wake and sleep hours to be away from the crazy fans mobbing him and this cost huge money.. as well as so generous
Must be so upsetting and unsettling for Mr P's immediate family and friends, will reiterate on another posting - leave the poor man alone and let him R.I P, thank you very much.

His health had been deteriorating for a long time and yes, surely he was using drugs but the reasons why are not as simple as has been presented.
10/16/20 LOVE Elvis FOREVER gone way to soon. He was the KING!
I had never heard what drugs he was taking...OH MY GOD!!! How was he functional?? My heart has always broken for Elvis. Surrounded by yes men and greedy hands. He was surrounded by these people but he was so alone. I hope he has found the peace he yearned for during his life.
I can't even pronounce the names of these drugs. Even a three-year old would have difficulty.
The body's tolerance levels go up with alcoholism & drug addiction. They can take an astonishing amount that would floor anyone else.

Nick gave him all them drugs though.
they are eaggerating amounts of medication.most were trace elements.
Well said very true
I know what ya mean I was the same and people just didn't know the extent of my using cause I hid it so well.
Well said , Ms Tea on both points , glad to see you are taking steps to self healing : ) that takes courage and inner strength . RESPECT
And the world as you say was happy to take it from him people abuse his kindness .just like they do the soup kitchens and food banks.
Geraldo did a damn good job on this to show the truth!
His drug usage started even before his stint in the military.
But he faked his death by the help of the doctor it was not pills they thought because he faked his death with help of fbi and doctor get with it abc
I knew Elvis's hairdresser that lived at Graceland for 7 years. He used to tell the guys around him that smoked marijuana that the wacky tobacky was going to kill them. The irony of it all. If there is a rock and roll heaven, they have one hell of a band and Elvis is still king.

I don't believe he smoked marijuana.

I don't remember seeing Rivaldo's report. What an eye opener. EVERYBODY failed, not just Elvis:
the doctors
the entourage (Memphis Mafia)
the pharmacist
Many, many people.
Cj original it sounds just like Princes death scene 😢
A normal problem, it must be ok, its prescribed. That's a common mistake people make that don't know much about drug abuse. Rip, king!
Elvis was a amazing person
When I visited Hawaii, the locals spoke very highly of him. I wouldn't expect anything less. After all, he did a concert there to help raise funds for a memorial centre at Pearl Harbour.
Well clearly that doctor Nick knew he was screwed, and knew what he was doing was dead wrong
