Depends what your goals are, I guess. You can definitely get exceptionally fit and build a good lean, muscular physique with those exercises, but if you're into powerlifting or bodybuilding, then you're going to want access to free weights and machines as well. There's no need for minimalism when it comes to fitness.
Every strength and conditioning book written since the 1950s says otherwise. Theres a reason pro athletes spend there time in the gym, not doing press ups and situps.
If this is what the marines call fitness then bugger me. In my days PT was much harder, but even in the RAF we done much more than the videos that I have seen in the gym. The only thing that I can praise them for, is that they were so in unison they make a civvy aerobics class look bad. As this is just aerobics and not fitness, it is more cardio work.
This is about week 1-3 of gym. We don't only excersice in the gym. We double time from wake up to sleep also. That is before week 6 when bottom field also kicks in.
Press ups ,sit ups,Burpees, pull ups,Dips...and running, that's all you need to get fit and strong...no pricey gym membership required!
There is a gym membership. It's paid in sweat and blood. They also pay you money.
Sit-ups are a shite exercise in comparison to other core exercise and have the potential to cause spinal problems.
@@spday9909 agreed, it’s a shame they haven’t been replaced for a better alternative like hanging knee raises

You’re talking puppy shit. This is progressive IMF. The R.A.F. Are not soldiers , never even mind Royal Marine Commandos.
