  • Harrier GR9 by Airfix in 1/72 Scale. RAF Cottesmore, Observer Corp. No 41 Squadron December 2010
Nice kit and reasonably priced. As mentioned in the video a couple of small issues but Harrier's are cool and always fun to do.
    * Made a mistake in the commentary when doing the tail, it should be Elevator not Aileron. You get the idea though :)

    About Modellers Workbench:
Run by me - Scott. Aimed primarily at plastic scale modelling, but I also do model with other materials. I do have a bit of a passion for Large Scale Planes in 1/32 but I also model Armour and Vehicles and well whatever else I feel like. I am also in the process of building an n scale model railroad layout so I enjoy modelling scenery and dioramas.
Expect to see Tamiya, Airfix, Trumpeter, Academy, HobbyBoss Walters and other scale plastic model kits. Build videos along with some tips and tricks I have picked up.
I have been modelling on and off for decades now, but got back into it seriously during lockdown.
Be patient with my editing and youTube skills - I am a learner :)
If you have any comments or questions I would love to hear from you!
    Scott

Out of interest I was just watching a doco on Eric "Winkle" Brown and by coincidence he mentioned the "Flying Tail" concept on the Miles M52 which increases stability near supersonic speeds. I did also screw up with my terminology as mentioned in the description.

I agree , thin cement can be a pain - especially if you glue and tape , it will run under the tape and damage the surface- and you don't want that !

Exactly - another one of those things I learnt the hard way. Thanks for the comment.
