honestly im blown away by the amount of knowledge and skill you have. I am convinced after watching these videos you can fix anything but a broken heart. maybe you can fix that too. Unbelievable. Id love to watch you walk into a crosman plant and start explaining things to them. Im sure they know quite a bit, but I have a feeling they would learn a lot from you. Who in the hell knows so much about an air gun ? ive never seen anything like it.
it comes from spending a lot of time and money and patience trying to get the diamond out of the rough but generally all break barrels have things that need to be correct if they are not then it can easily thro the accuracy and shot cycle off
rifles are rather pellet picky as to what pellets it likes...... I had a Beeman Kodak. 25 cal. It only shot Beeman and H&N crow magnum.. 26grain ,Kodiak and Kodiak match, 30 grain... they had the same b/c and same zero, and the perfect round pellets (different zero, though but goodpattern). Every other pellet I tried had wild patterns. All things being good, shoot till you find pellets your gun likes. With Benjamin, use HEAVYWEIGHT PELLETS and a.scop that's rated for a magnum piston rifle or your trash the scope.
Hi Dave Yes I know / How could I not know?? btw this crosman barrel was over sized not pellet fussy !! I had two RWS stamped Diana 34 totally over sized bore over sized bore is not a light bore to pellet contact its no pellet to bore contact and a light pellet to bore contact on a magnum will result in a lot more recoil even if you find something that fits better its best to have a proper pellet to bore fit period later you can hone in on what pellet it shines to
This is so good and so indepth, I'm going to share this on my Facebook air rifle group and UA-cam page. I wish that I had the machinery and machining skills that you have. BTW the Hatsan piston seals that you mentioned, is there a link or company that I can get ahold of for them? Also, perhaps you or know someone who makes bigger shim washers to tighten up a sloppy barrel lock up, especially for my Hatsan 125. It is so close to being a really good rifle. My Hatsan 95 22 has a great lock up, pellet to boar fit and I can get pinky tip size groups at 25 yards.
I am out of the 125 seals and I would need to install the seal as they are not made for people to install themselves ,the barrel shims need to be made and fitted to and with the gun? you cant just make a set and say here you go. I am trying to get more seals but its like pulling hens teeth/ you can send the receiver less stock when I get a 125 seal and I could make the washers and install the seal
I don't see it happening , so much aggravation just getting a order made and some changes for the seal maker are needed to be summitted which seams to be going no where
Is WD40 'White Lithium Grease' that I use for my electric scooter's hubs & suspension, safe/appropriate for my barrel and/or the intake port? (Crosman F11 nitro piston, .22 cal).
No Wd 40 is a unique fluid, I dont use it on anything except maybe after I wash my crosman pellets 2x with soapy water when dry I will very lightly thin coat them so they dont oxidize/air rifles need non petroleum type lube some use silicone in those under leaver rifles or I use synthetic high temperature grease its totally non petroleum
I enjoy watching your videos Mike, wish i knew how to do those things ! I've had alot of issues with my airguns. Still cant figure out how to contact you personally, email or something ? I clicked on the little arrow, and it only gives me the option to share your profile.
Try this Click on my channel name after my channel comes up then click on the about tab at the top of the page when that opens scroll down, you should see "email " click that it should pull it up
Gamos suck !! I've had 7 out of 11 of them bad right out of the box ! And when I called Gamo they told me to send it to them ok that's fine but it would have cost me $75.00 to send it to them and another $75.00 to get it sent back to me ! That's $150.00 shipping on a gun I paid $159.00 for !!
I had good Gamo's so far, the Benjamín trail was a ship wreck and a lot of guns are also guess it depend on what gamo you bought just had a Gamo CFX in here that they dont make anymore and it was so chimsey I could not wait to get it out of my shop but it was amazingly accurate
