Brilliant!!!! Poxodd (and Mr. Poxodd) you totally captured the spirit of the song. The song actually was inspired by two Bruegel paintings, The Peasant Dance...where the chap dancing in the foreground certainly has improbable legs and also The Peasant Wedding which features porridge on a stretcher. Renaldo.
This is amazing! I recently found Poxodd through watching an Ostrich Von Nipple video.......I find myself often lost in your imagery, deep in thought, waiting for a bus or as I drift off to sleep at night. Please dont ever stop. I just found out today that Renaldo and the Loaf are creating new material so I decided to check out "A Convivial Ode" (it is fucking amazing, I highly recommend if you are a fan) and in the related videos I saw this! I feel like i hit the fucking karma lottery, this is great! Two beautifully wonderful works paired. Thank you to Poxxod, Renaldo Malpractice and Ted the Loaf for injecting beauty into my life so unexpectedly!
You're very welcome! Gurdy Hurding is an awesome album and It's been a special treat working with RaTL, I've loved their music since my teens! It's good to know people are enjoying the new material, your enthusiasm is much appreciated. :D
Thank you! I was excited to find this movie footage that contains live reenactments of Bruegel paintings, since Improbable Legs lyrics were inspired by Bruegel artwork... unfortunately they didn't have those specific paintings which inspired Improbable Legs in that movie, or it could have been even better!... but it still captures the right feel I'd say. Something similar to this where it is the painting brought to life... with the actual RaTL starring in it would be to die for!
