As a Malphite main with hundreds of games played, im so happy to see this gameplay. You definitely have a great understanding of the risk taking that comes with certain engages. A few other worthwhile comments that may be helpful: 1. Randuins, Thornmail and Gauntlet are basically core items. Sunfire is usually, however i often will sub it out if i play into super hard CC or ranges comps and exchange it for a Frozen Heart as a 4th item. 2. One thing that screwed you in this game was a lack of health regen in the late game. I usually like choosing Warmog's Armor as a last item because if you take a lot of damage in the last game, doing back to base to regen health might cost you the game. Also, Second wind is very good as well imo 3. If you know the enemy team has a lot of vamp and you want to contest first drake, go bramble vest into Stoneplate. This will give you a massive advantage in a possible drake fight which and start a snowball across your team. 4. Abysmal Mask is VERY underrated as an item on Maphite, especially if your team has strong AP champs and they have some AP damage as well. AM into Sunfire into Gauntlet is fantastic and allows you to win early/ midgame skirmishes. Thanks for the content Hells! Cant wait to see a Sion gameplay soon! 💯
@@debsaye3360 I think you can because you can outspoke her with q and use the speed boost to run away. The minion follow you some distance so you can last hit. E reduces her attack speed. The w does pretty good damage especially with iceborn gauntlet. And the ult does pretty good damage and helps interrupt her combos. If you wait to attack her after she uses her invulnerability, she's as good as got. Plus your passive gives you a little extra sustain.
@@peterp7378 its situational, yes i have won vs fiora but id almost never reccomend it unless you really know what youre doing. Once she has 2 items she becomes incredibly strong and can run you down. Its like literally any matchup: if you know what to do and when to take risks, trades,etc, you can win. But overall its a hard matchup so take your risk 🙂
@@austinmiller7509 when you play Malphite, have you ever been in a situation like you use your ult on enemy but your teammates just cannot follow up in the right time ,then they just destroy your backline as you went too deep and no one cover them anymore ,then you lose the combat:/. If you have such bad teammates you will almost never have a chance to win teamfight

Malphite is actually good against magic diving assassins too like akali, evelynn, katarina etc. because of his 1st. you can just poke them at low health

17:02 Hells, they changed Stoneplate recently remember? Instead of giving bonus health, it only gives shield that scales with health, and the shield increases if there are a lot of enemies nearby. (sad to see sett's best enchantment get ruined because he cant deal as much damage anymore)
21:14 It's true that your team isn't doing much, but I don't think it was a good idea to jump into the yasuo and lucian here. You only had Rakan, and he deals no dmg.
Thank you for adding the champ select portion too. Not many people know who to pick in what situation and a lot of time you'll see Malphite picked into a super heavy AP team and it's just not completely ideal.

Don't mean to be a noob which I am, but when you say "If it's a full ad or ap team comp" is that like duo and mid being ap or ad types to defend against or if the entire enemy team is made up of ap or ad? I hope my question isn't to confusing Sir.
Then you are 100% to blame for every single match you lose. Champion selection and build is the beginning of the match... blind pick and blind builds is only making active attempts to help the enemy team... level up

i abuse malphite by going for full defense build, if i say "full" i meant i used every defense item, enchant, spell, runes, and i start by targeting their adr and spending all of my gold to the defense items, i mostly focus on the items like thornail, spirit visage, sunfire of aegis, guardian angel, warmog's armor, aegis and flash as spells, gargoyle as enchant, and i keep farming and farming all of the farmable monsters, rift scuttlers, creeps, fed players, and of course objectives. idk what kind of monster i made but try this, u will not regret it

I really enjoy rod of ages into iceborn gauntlet. Rod gives you tons of Hp And magic power giving you damage in lane and nice scaling while still being tanky
I think the crucial mistake here was split pushing as malph you take turrets slow and literally trolling the team by not joining teamfights imo even when u wanted to split you should have used the rune?
To this day Malphite is my go to main for anyone on baron. Irelia? Malphite and slap her woth n E if she tries to trade Also I always. ALWAYS go ibg 1st now as the spellblade gives you a lot of needed damage and the slow just synergizes with weakness
Best thing about Malphite is - all things are point n click for him. Despite of that he has more outplaying potential than any other point n click champion (such a garen)

Upgrading W gives u more armor u should max it first . Then E or Q depends on if the enemy has a lot of attack speed or not

no one mentioned it but it was a bad nerf for sett
The shield is still easier to use now, its basically a moving stasis

Sunfire aegis is not a core item and you shouldn't get it first unless you can play as well as hd.
