- REED A30 "Rockmaster" pump is shown here pumping a very low slump "shotcrete mix" onto the dirt and rebar in the hole in the ground to create the concrete shell of a swimming pool. The A30 Rockmaster is an extremely safe and economical pump, used by pool builders who do not require extremely long distance or extremely fast concrete spraying.

The shield won't last long with that shoot rubbing on it. Looks good but you can't beat the dry process for the nozzle man. Pool guys around here use the Reed dry process machine and a volumetric truck for mix. No kick in the hose. I love my SOVA for repairs and once in a while I'll shoot with my pump that has a surge chamber,. That makes the 2.5" hose lay still.
Back in my day in Gunite we woulda and you guys shoulda had all the hoses unloaded and couplers hooked up and ready when that ready mix truck pulled in....ME:

Vern Anthony Gunite, cool!!!
So you've heard of them?
That's our least expensive model, the A30 - it has 30" long material cylinders. The really big pool companies that spray a few pools a day will usually go with a pump with a longer stroke and more horsepower and hydraulic pressure - like our B50HP, B50HPS, C50S or C50SS. Call us any time at 909-287-2100 and We can give you more info on all of the different REED Shotcrete Pumps.
Do you pump this at high rpms?
So does that pump do standard cement pumping, or specifically made for shotcrete?
that pump will do standard pumping, shotcrete, grouting, etc - see www.reedpumps.com/reedvideos.htm
