Code GRIND64 This week we Dyno tune our 100HP KTM LC8 North Idaho style. We made some smoke and did some serious test driving! This is the first time we got this off road go kart in fourth gear! We are using the Haltech Elite 550 and we absolutely love it. The tuning software is easy to use and the North Idaho Dyno always seems to do the trick.

I have also noticed! As a fellow fpv enthusiast, it's cool to see what these guys got going on and the flying is improving noticeably.
The new DJI? I think is the brand ones have built in programmed flights for cinematic shots. I keep seeing videos sponsored by them ie. Cleetus/Dahm

I thought I saw a DJI controller, but the footage doesn't look like it came from a DJI camera ship.

Every time I watch the power wheel jeep, the more I want one. You guy's should look into building and selling these power wheels cause you could make so money. Thanks for what you guy's do keep it up.

IIRC haltech has a long term fuel trims table, enable closed loop, build a conservative target air fuel table and have it populate the long term target table and then keep applying changes after you drive.

Resistance can be modified by how often you sweep the shop floor 🤣
Life can also be modified standing in front of that rear wheel ripping on it while the machine is strapped to the wall. Could have ended very badly. Not to be a Karen, I’m just 7 years in the wheelchair and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. 🤦♂️

Sic simper I do take apart a lot of stuff and reassemble things. I’m really into rc cars and boats. I use different batteries and different motors for different cars. I got like two 20 dollars rc cars and a 35 dollar battery and made a car that went about 50+ mph not even lying. I used my grandpas tools since he’s the only one that has a little interest in building and rc cars and other stuff I like.
I ride a 2010 990 Adventure R, the sheer grunt of that motor always makes me smile.
I can understand the excitement of getting this creation running correctly.
What an absolutely insane machine it must be to drive.

That is, hands, down the most awesome, frightening thing Ethan has done! And it's not "really" tuned yet! I have had the honor off trying to stuff 10 lbs la la la, but can't quite get my head around 15, in the sack with the other ten! Instruments, who has time for instruments. For all the engines dependency on the computer, the driver has only time for direct, seat of the pants input- the faster it's gotten the more so. Taking another step before the "real tune" might be a great course! The drone work was incredible! IN the past, the drone's performance easily matched the cars- the KTM is already able to give your drone a run for it's money! Footage was as awesome as the car!

One of my favorite projects! I always see Powerwheels and wonder how you guys pack all that stuff in there. I’d love to check out your projects at a meet and greet sometime. Inspires me to brainstorm about what my next project will be. Thanks!
You can make your own rudimentary dyno (unsure how you'd get data out of it, but would allow you to math things with the ECUs and test things under load) by getting two oil drums (as good a condition as you can get them) and filling them with cement using fine sand. With a shaft down the center and a few bearings, you can then gear that using two chains and another shaft to a large friction disk. Something like 5 or 6 cheapo disk brakes should give you enough spread to distribute the wear evenly (or you can use a car transmission to give mechanical advantage to a smaller one).
Bury that into the ground and you have your dyno that doesn't require you burn tires and gives you the opportunity to make your own tests. For shafting i'd use the thickest cheap pipe you can find, with 3 floating bearings. And the oil drums are there because that would give you a huge range of sizes from small projects to car sized stuff.
Would not be a cheap project, but it would give you a rudimentary dyno, and if you can manage Arduino and readers and stuff, you could in theory math your way through the data and get a full on dyno, there are guys out there that have made their own.
