Epic design ideology and the leopard wood set it off. Very cool. Curious about the leopard wood, it looked like it was semi soft, the belt looked like it was wearing it away like pine or cedar. Is it? I haven't used any yet, and was wondering. Every now and then I find a decent deal on it and haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I wanted a Hunting knife for my friend as a Birthday gift because he is a great hunter. I searched a lot and in the end, saw a knife which is the perfect gift for every situation. The knife I purchased was absolutely beautiful! Well crafted and heavier than I expected. The blade material was pure in quality and the handle was made from natural wood. I bought this from Almazan Knives. My friend And I are both really satisfied with their product.
The primal terror I felt when he said “I think this build is going pretty well” only went away when I realized he probably recorded the voice over after he finished.
Mate I love what you are doing. that blade is just cool. tha patern is awsome. I did subscribe to your channel and can't wate to see more. kind regards from your pal Helcat in Australia.
I find hand sanding “abrasive” too! That made me chuckle. I’d really like to explore the concept that worn out belt make wandering grinds. I figured it was more me having an off day, but if I can blame it on worn belts, I might be able to justify buying belts more often. Thanks for another great video!
That is one *SMEXY* blade! The final pattern reminds me of alligator hide, which would be an awesome name for the blade: Alligator Blade. (would also be an epic band name!)
Great video I love watching the process of a beautiful Knife 🔪 coming to life. Now to jump on over to Your website and see how much One of these beauties are. 😉😉
I'm gonna go with super cool... epic is a tough one. When I think epic I think a Kyle Royer sword. This video was great and this knife is really awesome definitely steps above average work. Great content again.
Really appreciate the voice over. I feel like a lot of these videos are done ASMR style, which is nice, but it's great to hear you explain what and why you're doing things. Subbed
Can you build one like for me so I can give it to my Son's Service to the Navy. He just finished his 6th year contract. He likes knives since he was a kid. Look me up.
That's a beautiful knife I wish I could afford something like that I'm a single father raising three kids I could never afford something like that you do an amazing job
When you were hacking into that lumber right over the jaws of the vise I felt my self cringe. No harm no foul, braver man than me. Beautiful pattern on that blade.👍👍
Your vid popped up on my suggested and I'm very glad I watched. Very interesting idea and you are very good at letting everyone know what you are doing and why. Subscribed
If your Belts have the generic Butt Splice, purchase them next time with a SineLok Splice. The splice is a wavy line just as a Sine Wave and should eliminate any issues with the fine finishes your knives require. SineLok is a 3M Trademark. The color of the Belt your using leads me to believe that you may be using an Aluminum Oxide product..? For the materials your working with, consider changing to Zirconia or a full Ceramic Abrasive Product. Aluminum Oxide is not a long lasting mineral when used on the harder materials like that Blade Steel. Zirc would be an improvement and Ceramic would provide a high initial cut rate, long life as well as a built in Grinding Aid that reduces heat generation during use. You know that would be helpful to you. Love your work. Very, very cool.
that's a really awsome bowie! me and my dad are building a forge rn and watching awsome builds like this really gives me motivation. :) keep up the good work!
@@thomasarussellsr Not sure if you've found an answer over the last month but I believe anything with titanium dioxide as an ingredient will work, it is a white powder used to dye things white, which I believe is also its use in whiteout. Regardless as long as it contains that I think it will stop the forge weld to your canister.
Love your work. I watch a lot of different "project" channels, for lack of a better term, that are out of my wheelhouse but I always learn something that I can use in projects that are in my wheelhouse. You've given me ideas for keeping my kitchen blades cared for and your handle making for my own wood working projects. Course I have to do most of the work by hand.
Hey, working by hand only means you make the mistakes more slowly, giving you more time to catch them before going too far. Power tools make mistakes so quickly that we waste materials. [With the exception of a coal forge. They burn the steel much more quickly than a gas forge.]

I absolutely love how you were able to continue the edge to the tip with consistent width! It turned out fantastic! Family heirloom right there! For generations.
" an abrasive process"
9 groans out of 10, awesome video
God damn I love this channel. Just so cool no bullshit just straight up making cool shit out of basically anything
Sanding is an abrasive experience. I see what you did there.
When many tutors explain their videos without the work it's boring,I love your video bcoz you explain everything without interrupting your work.
Thanks, glad you like it
I agree with ya 💯% The recipe is spot on. That chopper is a monster 👻 I want it.
🥲 a UA-camr that didn't waste 30% of their metal on cutting and sanding. As a blacksmith and a tinsmith. Good job smith.
Seriously, right !!! That annoys me so much. Wasting such great products just because people are too lazy to try to smith.
First class all the way, time to shop you
never knew Binging with Babish made his own knifes... that guy is always 4 steps ahead of us
4 minutes in and I realized it’s titled _Bowie_ and not bowtie. Makes a lot more sense.
Awesome project !
Thanks I appreciate it!
What do you think: Was this Bowie build epic, or just cool??
What's epic is that beard.
And the build.
Dude!!! It chopped through 4 2x4s and still shaved the hair off your arm. My wife's legs are ready for the next test. Epic knife.
@@scottlanghorst1483 I can only pray that your wife never sees this comment or that my wife never sees me totally agreeing with you lol

That looks DOPE as all get out. Nice work man
I would love to be able to own my own forge one day to do projects like this. Amazing work!
Not sure if your delivery could have been more dry... 11:39 -- "Over all, I find it to be an abrasive experience." Well played, Sir!
I was sure I wasn't the only one to notice, but it really seemed like he was completely unaware of the great pun he just made.
I like air-purifiers🤓 I dis-like sanders😐 lols
I don't know why this stood out to me, but I love your beard!
Came out looking awesome man!
Thanks man!
Hand sanding a bit abrasive....nice one. Great looking blade!!
Haha thanks
Looks sweet. Real nice job. Thanks for not posting 10 mins of hand sanding!!!
What a beautiful job!, beautiful knife, thank you very much for your videos, hugs from the south of Argentina.

Love your work. My wife is an audiologist. Hearing protection may be something worth considering if you were so inclined.
Yes sir, I wear ear plugs
Wow. First time viewer, that knife is phenomenal!
Great job, I would say epic.
Thanks for watching!!
I could imagine a crocodile boot wearin fella wielding that thing. Love it
I too, think sanding is an abrasive experience. Love your work, love the knife.
Definitely epic I love how the edge steel forms a hamon line going into the bearings
Thank you sir!
It looks like a gentle ocean wave breaking on the beach.
Thanks glad you like it!
You killed it with this one. What a beaut.
Thanks!!
That definitely turned out pretty awesome. The edge being a solid piece like it is gives a nice contrast to the ball bearing pattern.
Man, this was a pleasure to watch and listen to. You have a gift that has borne fruit through practice and time. Thank you for showing us.
Thank you sir

The best vids display good narration and instruction. This one's got it! Incredible!
I know nothing about forging, but could watch a master craftsman work all day long. I'm pretty sure that makes me a foreman. Beautiful result, sir.
This turned out better than I could've expected. It looks like waves folding over a sea shore, just beautiful

Congratulations on the beautiful knife

wonderful manual work . A huge knowledge of steel, forging and more. All this work for a great result. Thank you for sharing.
Definitely Epic! I really like how it turned out! Thanks again for sharing!
Thanks I appreciate it!
You really got that softer steel lined up perfectly. Looks awesome 👌
Thanks! It's actually the same steel that the bearing balls are, 52100.
Beautiful Job brother as usual👍🙏💙
That's craftsmanship, a beautiful knife.
That is a beautiful knife.
Loved seeing you hammer in the point.
Big props on an anvil that’s moving after every hit. The Bowie came out beautiful
Kewl blade. Thanks for sharing the build process, very interesting as always.

Really nice job! The Leopard wood really accented the finished product.
That thing is freakin sick beautiful blade brother!!!
Nice work, very entertaining content.
"hand sanding is an abrasive experience" haha that's hilarious!
I got this in Recommendations and Man.... Video and work is epic dude. You have got a Sub man...
Loved the uniqueness of the blade. Never seen that method before. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Very skilled man who made it look easy to make a Bowie knife
stunning blade! your “thinking outside the cannister” idea really works well! 👍👍👊👊
Nice work as usual!!

This is one of the coolest knives I’ve ever seen great work
That pattern really pops. One Beautiful knife. Cannister Damascus done beautifully is amazing, and you did it man. Another well made bowie.
Beautiful knife 😁 greetings from Sweden
The blade could easily be called a leopard pattern blade. The handle complements the blade. Very good work! looking forward to your next project.😀
Thank you for the video, it's an awesome knife.
