You got to remember, once you have completed more trips and maintain a high rating, you would be the preferred driver for uber and you will get lots of jobs.
not true, i have been a perfect 5.0 for over a year and always maintained a high rating and others often do better. I do drive peak hours and core areas but ratings do not matter. If they did all the other drivers with poor ratings might leave due to poor earnings.

I am an Uber driver in Mexico, the best advice I can give you is to use several apps when using several devices at the same time. I do not recommend waiting in the airport area. Get out of the area
It’s a fair summation of a day in the life of an Australian city Uber driver. I commenced doing it back in Sept 2023. Income levels are spasmodic and in the end I concluded it’s not worth the financial effort or risk. The costs involved are stacked against the owner driver. Uber clips a hefty % off each fair plus booking fee. They just announced a reduction in driver rates in order to ‘attract more customers’ but no mention of them reducing their fee structure.
After driving for 9 months, although it's true I can make $2000 per week but the cost of wear and tear on my car is tremendous. The risk of getting fined in NSW is always never impossible. Most kerbside pick up and drop off has no stopping sign. If u are unlucky a council ranger can take photo and u don't even know it until the fines come to you in 2 weeks. The GST quarterly, taxes are high, depreciation of car, the mileage hits all time high, costs of service and maintenance of car, /it's true you don't make much. The figure looks big, there is no other benefits from uber . It's not worth driving for Uber. Much better working full time in a bank or corporate work.
I used to drive 40+ hr wk to average $1400 , now i make on average between 1000/ 1300 for 30 hrs wk in brisbane, ive cut my petrol expenses by two thirds, my toll account by 90% 😊😊😊😊 . de-stressed the driving experience dramatically , eat at home for all meals, i avoid the drunks, druggies, and the great unwashed!😂 ,get plenty of sleep and spare time . Rethink how you drive, take back control.😂😂😂😂 STAY SAFE!❤❤❤❤
@@mirzaharisbaig7083 yes I agree , I worked out that it cost me $ 12 hr for a 40 hr wk, just for the car to be on road? Then tax , ,toll account , even though you get the toll in fare, ubers already taxed it 27.5 % no
Thank you so much for your great video. How can I get information regarding charges on tesla cars, such as annual registration fee, taxes and other costs I haven't mentioned.
i liked how honest your experience was. also insurance premiums have gone up drastically in the last few years epcifially for rideshare. a much higher chance of accident as well
What you are saying is not in sync with what feedback I got personally talking to few Uber drivers.. They say they do make decent money... around $200+ a day for working 8hrs approx.
I'm on a forum with 60,000 Australian Tesla owners. Battery replacement is VERY, rare. There are many people on this forum who've travelled 200,000km or over. There are also several people who've travelled over 500,000kms. The batteries have barely degraded let alone needed replacing. These distances are further than most owners do in a car's lifetime.
Don't just look at the surface of how big the figure earning from uber, the hidden costs of uber driving. The more you drive the more kilometres you clock up on your car, the more you pay on taxes, maintenance, service, repair, replacement of anything, GST and taxes. The more you drive the mre you are expose not only the risks of driving but the risks of fines for minorl traffic offences with big $$$ fine ticket. As human we are bound to make mistakes. End of day, you earn less than what you actually think!!!! /
And you are electric, imagine petrol when we are being charged 27% ,Have you checked how much Uber charged to your riders? When you know it, you will quit 😡
You can sort the tax situation by switching to an unincorporated community association business structure that’s tax exempt. Petrol by hybrid electric car Tolls chuck out tolls it’s illegal anyways.

you need to subtract (INSURANCE CAR PAYMENT DEPRECISAION TAXES OIL CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE ) than you can see your real income

You dont mention redlight cameras, tolls and speed cameras. After tolls and petrol profit is very gery low
It’s a Tesla there is no fuel. Tolls are refunded and for speed and red lights just don’t speed or run a red light?

$ 22 per hru is to low

113 - 10 % Gst = ~ 100 / 6 = 16.75 what a great income !
Which Toll tag is best for Uber driver in NSW? Do we have to apply for a regular one or we have to apply Bussiness Toll Tag for the Uber??
i use etoll works everywhere.
Which driving record to order there are two driving record..

Well yeah like one airport trip is already $100 an hour
how often do you get them tho?
Great informative video!
thank you!
what is your city and how many rides you get daily?? and how long you have to wait for a ride??
Gold Coast don't wait next before trip ends usually 11 to 16 week days 5 hours
Sydney Australia. Waiting 10-15 minutes on average

After 3 years all your earning directly goes to Tesla battery replacement 😂😂😂
you never know ahaha
A driver in Perth Wa did 168 000 km in one year , had to change battery on his own as Tesla voided the warranty.
