I think the funniest scene with Niles and Daphne was when he was asking her to try on skimpy dresses "for Maris". Daphne came out afterwards and said something like "I'm glad to be out of that last dress! It was so tight i had to take my knickers off just to get the zipper up!" and Niles dropped his glass in shock. I love those two so much.
Nothing will ever get me like the long, extended silences of Niles awkwardly reeling and having to compose himself from something suggestive Daphne unknowingly said while everyone else looks at him with a mix of annoyance and pity. I can only imagine how many times the cast had to reshoot scenes like that due to excessive laughter.
@Pardon me - DHP is an amazing actor, but Jane Leeves was extremely underrated for her acting prowess in the show. We mostly watched from Niles’ perspective, as Daphne was oblivious for so long, but once she found out, just watch out for the subtle nuance in the following episodes as Daphne went much quieter and reflective, especially when Niles was not on the scene. You can see that she has something on her mind. It’s all part of the brilliance of the show.
He's a brilliant actor, he played Niles fantastically. Now, Jane Leeves is gorgeous and it was very believable that Niles would fall for Daphne because she's played by Jane Leeves 😊
When I first heard they were doing a new show with Frasier, I didn’t think it would be good. Turned out to be my favorite, ever! Have the entire series on dvd and have watched it through many times and will continue to do so. GREAT show! GREAT cast! The Daphne/Niles crush is the best part!❤️
Me too...I immediately fell in love with his beautiful delicate features, and it's so sexy how comfortable he seems in his body. I think he looks the hottest (no pun intended) when he's dressed in a white linen top and trousers in the episode when Daphne shows up at his apartment (during a heat wave) because she and Sherry have had a fight.
In my opinion the absolute best love story ever on television and also the best ever funny show! I've watched every episode of every season over and over again so many times over the years I won't even dare to guess a number. So many feels so good moments of laughter watching Frasier. An amazing cast, love them all. I literally wept as if losing a beloved family member and friend when 'Martin' (John Mahoney) died in 2018. I still want to see a reunion show though, I think he would too. ; ) This is a great little video for a feel good laugh today. Thank you!

It's a good compilation, but they left out the best scene. It's just after Daphne finds out from a semi-conscious Frasier that Niles has always been crazy about her, and Niles drops by for a visit. Daphne looks at Niles in a different way, and he, unaware that she knows how he feels, simply says "Hello, Daphne". It's one of the many bittersweet moments that made "Frasier" a cut above the rest.
David Tribble I agree; and I would add that some of the best moments of pathos also come during the episode when Donny proposes to her, as well as the two-parter, "Something Borrowed, Something Blue" when Niles learns of Daphne's feelings for him and tells her that if she'd just say the word, he would leave Mel (who he's just married, thinking Daphne didn't share his feelings). The acting by David, Jane and Kelsey is wonderful, IMHO.
Another episode that I love is where Niles and frasier go back in time and reminisce his and Daphne's best moments Such a bold episode too.after all those years old build up and they're finally together then they test the relationship in a pretty serious manor for the whole episode. First watching it I almost believed they'd split apart.
I’m rewatching Frasier for the millionth time and I was struck at how classic the comedy is, the timing, the physicality: it’s Bob Hope, Jack Benny and even Buster Keaton. 😉
