That's probably the nicest Smallman I've heard. I'm not a fan of their nasal tone, though. I wonder if you could do a comparison between a Smallman & a Ramirez 1a? I'd like to hear them side by side.

No comparison. I’ve owned two 1a Ramirez and they had neither the balance nor tone colour possibilities, never mind volume of even the first Smallman lattice guitars.

I heard a Gil Carnal guitar today, best sounding classical guitar I've heard. The whole top is a lattice soundboard, the neck is not glued to the top and can be adjusted. Made from traditional woods, it sounds much more traditional than a Smallman guitar, but louder and with more sustain.
