My 87 year old white mother who grew up in the 40's/50's racist, segregationist South (Dothan, Alabama in Houston County the poorest county in Alabama) read his book and she said she cried all the way through and that it affected her views on race deeply. This is his superpower to speak to people outside his wheelhouse and to change hearts.

I just love how he explains concepts that someone usually cannot understand unless they've experienced it themselves. Things like racism, antisemitism and depression are very hard to truly put in words to explain the full magnitude of what that feels like and Noah does excellent job in selecting the perfect words to communicate the main idea and he does it in the most respectful and elegant way.
I truly think Noah is one of the chosen people of our time to shine light on what is important to the human kind. They say each generation or rather full life of someone on average 65-75 yrs ,there will be one or two special people who will nudge the world into awareness and hopefully equilibrium

seeing ADHD representation in mainstream media, and not as the tired, shallow “i’m so ditzy i can’t keep anything straight haha! always late i’m so quirky! squirrel!” trope, means everything to me (and so many other adult ADHD-ers, i’m sure). and even beyond that, trevor’s willingness to speak candidly about his depression & how the two uniquely correlate, as they do for so many of us, really tugs at my heartstrings. it’s so easy to feel utterly alone in this experience, and to feel like there are so many hurdles to being successful - but we never truly are alone, and we are just as capable of thriving as anyone else. loved this ep 🤍

What an outstanding interview- great questions and she for him to open up more than I’ve ever seen. And of course Trevor’s genius and magic. Ah man seeing him with his South African buddies joking about the boyfriend.. I miss South Africa!!! (Also South Africa living in US)

Trevor is one of the most genuine human beings I've ever had pleasure of witnessing. He has just as much talent as integrity. He's very inspiring.

The clock is ticking😳 I just turned 37 like yesterday and it is so stressful being an independent professional and having a whole community of adults you run into tell you that your clock is either over or ticking, as if it's a death sentence if you don't have children. Do you want children of course but it's not that simple for some people.🖤

I have so much admiration and respect for Trevor, not only is he incredibly intelligent and witty he is also emotionally resilient to be able to survive that trauma having witnessed his mom being shot by his own father 😢 His mom is also an amazing human being to have that kind of reaction. I hate men who take their anger out on women with violence these men should just be institutionalized

    1. Trevor is consistently very insightful and able to understand different perspectives, as well as communicate these to people brilliantly.
    2. That little bit about ADHD was so great, it got me excited to show to a dear loved one who I felt can relate and take comfort in it.
    3. Having lived in 3rd world settings I've always appreciated the way Trevor describes his life matter-of-factly, and tries to explain to others that it wasn't as miserable as they imagine. Sadly, I often see this fly over people's heads. Perhaps they can't imagine how having less than what they know could be a happy life.
    4. Kudos to his friend who pretended to dish about Trevor as a boyfriend but didn't. Kudos to Trevor for keeping that private and keeping calm in the face of pressure.
    5. I am not familiar with this interviewer, what are your thoughts about her?
