My favourite video on UA-cam. I can only hope to be so lucky to get to this resort someday, especially with such great conditions. Thanks from Toronto.
Love this video so much. Going here next week for 7 days for my first ever skiing holiday. Never been so excited for a holiday in my life!! Thanks for sharing.
This looks absolutely breathtaking, we have shitty small resorts where I come from, I've never had the opportunity to visit such a beautiful place. I hope I will one day, watching this makes me insanely jealous.
@@1Flyingfist As a once beginner any skiing enthusiasm I had died before it even properly began on the second day in the Nevis Range a long long time ago. Skiing, you're welcome to it.
@@matt.baller it’s was great we got lucky and had plenty of snow the day before we got there so conditions where great blue sky’s most day . Have a blast maté hopefully you get some fresh snow
Very nice overview of Obergurgl pistes! Unfortunately, I was unlucky this year: the weather was bad in the day when I went to Obergurgl from Solden and all my videos were bad as well. :( But, in Solden I had chances to make good videos.
Most of them are not hard, but narrower with a slope on one side. Most arr like an 's' downhill. The ones in in south are more challenging. But many to choose from.
I have been there twice so far and I say it's great. The area is divided into two: Obergurgl and Hochgurgls. Obergurgl is the one in the south and honestly, I prefer it with a slight edge (but really slim only, they are both very good). In my experience, it offers a more challenging experience. It has a very big slope in the middle, probably a few hundred metres wide and then you can decide whether you want to go a steeper approach (and that one is tough) or if you want it easier. They also have a great challenging slope where there are not many people - really good if you want to be on your own. An additional part of it is that you have another slope on another mountain. The view is great but it is really built like a serpentine in the mountains, you don't have much space there. But the fun park there is cool. Hochgurgl on the north side offers more slopes. You can have a very steep part of an easier part. Lots of space too. In one area, probably a little too much space, it has a quite remote area there that takes some time to get there. Overall a great area.

We have no resorts at all, only indoor. Unless you count Scotland.
So you are lucky. 🙏

Very nice. I think these runs are in Hochgurgl, but anyway. Would you say in Hochgurgl there are nice wide blues or most of them narrow? Thanks.

Nice! ... 😀👍
Looks pretty. Is there much of a challenge to be had at this resort?
