Hi Vinit. I am using an inexpensive off brand of Play-Doh. Any non-hardening children's clay will work. You will find this clay in the toy section of your store. A soldering iron does not provide enough heat over a larger area to be able to solder jewelry. We use a butane torch or a heat gun. The butane torch can be purchased in any home improvement store or any place that sells tools. You will also need prefluxed acid core solder with a low melting point 450 F degrees or lower. Please view Video One for more information.

There are recipes online for simple play dough as well. Good luck!
U can also use heat gun to attach the closure?
Thank you for the question. Yes, you can use a heat gun with 300 degree prefluxed solder to attach the clasp.
