Hello from England, I have the Virtuo guitar. I'm a rather frail 77 yr old, and I like the light weight and the ergonomics of the instrument. Thank you for your demonstration.
This was an excellent video. I own an x30 and x10 and have played the x20. I have watched just about every emerald video on youtube and the sounds you’ve recorded are the most accurate representation of these guitars I have heard on any video. Well done. I’m considering both the x7 and the Virtuo so this video was very helpful.
@@raspbury I think I’ll give mediums a try. Mine came with 12-56 medium-light and I find it weirdly bass heavy. Yours sounds so much more balanced. Thanks!
As someone that switches between acoustic and electric without issue, I feel it plays very much like an electric. Especially since I use electric strings on it.
@@raspbury_skittlebutt_dragon What's your opinion about putting electric strings on an x20? Would the precision made neck/frets avoid the usual issues like it does on the virtuo? Lots of songs require bending you can't do on a regular acoustic. Thanks

Kind of you to say. I wanted to keep it as clean and simple as possible.
$16k worth of guitars!
Thanks for the comparison, I have an X30 on order.
You have some amazing guitars!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks
Would to hear the x10 in the comparison. But do appreciate the comparison without amplification.
Hi. What kind of strings and what guage do you have on your x7? it sounds really good. Thanks for the demonstration.
Elixer Nanoweb 13 - 56 if I remember correctly. I use on all three I think. Virtuo is using D'addario NYXL 11-49

I've found the 12 gauge to be too bright on the x30 and have changed it to 14 gauge and it helps to take off some of the extra brightness.
I'm curious if the Virtuo plays like an electric, or does it play like a "stiffer" acoustic, without considering any of the electric options added.

@@andremontana1327 I've never tried it. Before going that round I would just try the lightest acousting set I could get.
What strings do you have on the Virtuo? Acoustic or Electric?
D'Addario NYXL 11-49 Medium
Electrics
X20 all day long
Agreed!
