“I have seen things in this world, that would have made Isaac Newton, crawl back into his mother’s womb. We have not become so much in light, as we have been blinded, by the gaseous light of science.” Superb dialogue.
Crappy dialogue. Nobody talks like that let alone remember that to say it in one take. It's always disappointing when crap like this gets made. Because the people of the 1800s are never depicted realistically. They wouldn't be cowering in fear. They would be running to get their guns to shoot dracula.
@@LindaLinda80Lindait sounded like some intense dialog to me. Share what you would insert for that part. I'm curious how you can ratchet down the clunkiness & raise the eloquence.
@@rexsephe I do not need to justify my opinion. I did not say I could write something better. But I do know the difference between good and bad dramatic dialogue. Be satisfied with your own opinion. Don’t let mine upset you.

Max Shreck was the scariest Klaus Kinski was the saddest William Defoe was my favorite ❤ Im curious to see how Bill Saarsgard will do in the new film Btw , all three of these films are available for free right now on UA-cam Nosferatu: A Symphony Of Horror (1922) Nosferatu : The Vampyre (1979) Shadow Of The Vampire (2000) So feel free to watch all three in order before u see the new movie in theaters ❤
You know, it's dawned on me that Eggers is kind of the arthouse Roger Corman. He's got his Vincent Price in Willim Dafoe and the whole film is Hammer/Poe atmosphere. Too bad there's not a lot of drive-ins left because you could pair this with "The Northman" and have a banger double-feature. (If you really wanted to go all out, Dusk-to-Dawn Robert Eggers and show all four films in order. That would be pretty wild...)
Calling things “art house” is beyond corny. It’s just a label that fanboys use because they wanna come across deeper for liking something. All movies are art, regardless of quality.
@@ConstableHandsyThe Witch and Lighthouse were okay at best. Pretentious is a great way to sum up Eggers’ filmography. But, hey, at least the fanboys feel smart/deep for liking his movies lol
So...a remake of a very well done rip off of Dracula that rips off Francis Ford Coppola's very well done (minus Keanu Reeve's performance) Bram Stoker's Dracula film in a seemingly well done film...sure, I'm in.
He should have just called this movie Dracula considering he looks more like Dracula than Count Orlock!!!! That pissed me tf off because its the entire reason Nosferatu is so unique & Eggers ruined that look 😤
I’m not necessarily buyin what you are selling. Nosferatu the original , the kinski remake and shadow of the vampire are huge shoes to fill and this seems like fluff.
Destined to be a new Christmas classic
Fun for the whole family
A nice happy feelgood movie for Christmas.

Sorry to disagree. Sounds very clunky and hackneyed to me.

The only remake that actually should have a remake !
Mind rewording that
It’s been remade twice and both before this where good too
remake this comment
Maybe you haven't seen Werner Herzog's masterpiece with Klaus Kinski
That bad?
Jingle bells, Nosferatu smells, Willen Dafoe laid an egg! 🎉🤭💖💖💖
Flying through the night..looking for a bite...
Lily-Rose Depp is perfect for this role ❤

I have no doubt Pennywise will do well.
Reggie Nalder was better than them all.
Waste of time 1979 💩💩
Robert Edger's is a true cinematic genius
This looks like a dark and dreamy nightmare, just like Stoker's text itself!

ive been waiting all year to see this
Aaron Johnson is like” who cares if you don’t like Kraven” I’m in “28 yrs later “ and “Nosferatu”😂😂😂
This looks amazing‼️
Can’t wait…..
So excited to watch this!!
Willem Dafoe is one of my favorites.
One of the few good remake's
No! they should leave the 1920s alone
I highly doubt it. The guys other films suck so I doubt this will be any different. Pretentious twaddle, I suspect.
@@ConstableHandsy idk from what the trailers are this movie looks good

This looks extremely good and interesting.
Looks great!
🎶It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas🎶
Looks like a 'classic' in the makings.
All silent movies deserve remakes, what's next, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari?
No. Leave these classics alone. How about something new ?
Caligari deserves a remake more than this considering this movie already has two remakes
I love calamari!
Was remade. in 2005. There was an earlier remake that had a different title.
@@ConstableHandsy Like what exactly?
I hope this film eventually releases in India
Why the spoilers? You got me interested enough to go see this Christmas weekend. I love Holt so much and Defoe. Good casting.
Can't wait
Couldn't have released it around halloween when the splash would've made more sense.
Happy Hallowdaze!
Going to see it!!!
Am i crazy or is the title a little misleading?
Just a little 🤏🏻
Wait I thought this movie was going to release on Christmas day

Thank you , for I thought this was the lamest of remake. I'm a wrong this has of the most proper dialogue and reference.

dafoe is a fkn real life nosferatu lol.. hes immortal ..
It's too soon for a Nosferatu remake.
😂

Isn't it nuts how Lily Rose and Nick Hoult like alike?
It’s called ACTING!
Well done, you've finally figured it out.
Looks like the have plagiarized a whole lot from the style of the "Bram Stoker's Dracula" film.
I'm sure this will do gangbusters on Christmas as opposed to, say, Halloween. 😑
@@bigdaddydiesel5520 yeah, I've found the release timing to be a definite head-scratcher.
Dracula

Shame he looks like Billy Corgan.
Nailed it! Been bugging me for the longest time who he reminds me of. Thanks for putting it together.
