I got mine yesterday for my 18th birthday. I’m so excited to race in it later this year. I also got the matching goggles which look and feel fantastic ❤
The Standard Pure Valor 2.0 is very low waist compared to Primo. Both the Primo and Valor 2.0 High waist are great options for your events. Also check out the Mizuno 6 CR.
how would the Speedo Vanquisher for 12u's be? i use them but wonder if anything is better yet still in the 60-100 USD range. i use a purple Dolfin (dont know the model suit) for Champs
Hi there! It's been a while since I had youth swimmers in the house. My twins are coming up on 24 years old. I'm going to see if I know enough to help you out here with your question though, @StarHCR2-YT. You're going to be very restricted in what suits you can use in competition at your age. Current rules in the United States limit the suits you can wear for competition. You already know this, and it's why you mentioned your age grouping. @MaxSwims or others would need to chime in with any recommendations for or against; in addition to the Speedo Vanquisher, you might also look at the Speedo Aquablade, Arena PowerSkin ST 2.0, or the TYR Fusion 2. The Speedo Vanquisher suit doesn't seem to be available in the UK, so that's why the name wasn't ringing a bell with @MaxSwims. Take care, swim fast, make good choices. ~Landen
I’d always go for the Glide because it’s in the middle in terms of compression, but still very flexible. Primo is the most compressive, I would only use it for 50-200. Air is great for 400-1500 too, but maybe it’s not compressive enough for you.
You can definitely wear the Primo for a 200 Breast, but also consider the Speedo LZR Valor (High Waist) and Mizuno NEO SL. Stay away from the Powerskin ST, it’s not really a race suit.
Yes, it’s good for all strokes. If you’re a 50 breaststroke specialist, the Mizuno 6NV is a better option, but for the 50 and the 100, either choose the Primo or the Mizuno 6CR.
@MaxSwims thank you very much I think I will go for the primo bc I am still 14 and I think I might start swim butterfly or IM. From what I heard mizuno is really good but for a really specific races and primo is like for everything
@@heorhiimartovoi801For someone of your age, you might want to save your money by getting a Mizuno NEO SL. It’s a very versatile suit and much cheaper than the Primo (£140 vs £360).
Hi Max, does this suit sit high in the crotch / groin? I am just wondering if you have swum any breaststroke in it and if it is a good suit for breaststroke?
This suit is quite high in the crotch compared to other arena models. It is very good for breaststroke because it doesn’t make your kick narrower. If you want a suit that sits lower in the crotch (which is also great for breaststroke), check out the Arena Carbon Flex VX or Speedo Pure Valor.
@MaxSwims I'm swimming the 100br with a large size NV and medium on the 50...I need the compression+hip-lift would still recommend the primo in size 28(the normal size) ...or do u think I should a size down for more compression? Or jus core fx size down

4:32 You just said that it didn't have enough compression for sprints. How can it be maximum compression?
I said it didn’t have enough snap for sprints.

Compared to pure valor 2.0 standard waist, is the primo higher or similar on waiste
Also I'm a breastroke swimmer mainly 200 and swim IM should I git for this or valor 2.0 high or standard

Speedo Vanquisher is a goggle. The best speedo goggle is the Speedsocket 2.0 Mirror as they are much higher quality and more comfortable
@@MaxSwims ok thanks man

I'm looking for a suit to swim the 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke (More than all the 50) which suit would you recommend
Mizuno 6 CR
Arena Primo
Speedo Pure Valor High Waist
I bought the Core FX last year in size 24 when I was 13, now I'm 14, should I buy 26 or 24?
How would you say the primo compared to air2 and the carbon glide in terms of middle distance to long distances 400/800/1500?
I’d always go for the Glide because it’s in the middle in terms of compression, but still very flexible. Primo is the most compressive, I would only use it for 50-200. Air is great for 400-1500 too, but maybe it’s not compressive enough for you.
I’m a 24 carbon glide and a 26 carbon air, what size would you recommend I get the primo in?
26
would you recommend the Primo or the Mizuno GX 6 NV? for a 50/100 swimmer
Mizuno 6NV if you want more compression, buoyancy and snap.
Primo if you like flexibility and less compression, or if you swim Backstroke
For the 50 free and 100 of back, free and fly, should I stay with the carbon core or the primo?
Primo definitely.
@@MaxSwims hey max, for 50-200-100 breaststroke should I get primo?
get Mizuno CR instead
How many times can you wear it before it loses its compression
That would take years
What was your 200 time
2:03 LCM
How many inches does tour waist and hips have?
I bought the size 24 but I'm 14 years old and I think it's going to be a little big.
I’m a women but I had to size down to fit properly.
I usually wear speedo though so I just assumed they would be the same sizes
My waist is 29.5 inch and hips are 33 inch. I’m 186cm tall and wear Arena 24.
Can we wear it on 400 800 and 1500s or not?
If you really like compressive suits, go for it. For me, the Primo is great for 200/100/50 events.
its the first time im buying race suit and im considering buying this or powerskin st next. (can i wear primo on 200m breast?))))

i'm a breaststroker what's the bset suit for 100 and 200 breast
Mizuno GX SONIC 6 CR
Would you buy this promo suit or arena air2 for 400 im?
Arena Air2. Also look at the Mizuno 6ET
should i buy it for the Breaststroke events? i really wanna buy it but is it good for 50 or 100 breast?
