Love it when you include your son's footage and commentary, or just shots of him goofing around in the background. I laughed at how he just took off to go do something fun after he got thoroughly dusted by the combine. That was a great age to be.
Good video Mike. Really enjoy seeing soybeans getting harvested. Leaves the field looking so neat and clean. And of course beautiful scenery and dang good drone footage. Thank you buddy. Take care👍
Nothing like finishing up a harvest! How were the yields? Prices are on the margin right now, but y'all got a bit more rain than we did. Great video, and especially your letting the young'un get the brunt of the bean dust!🤣🤣👍👍
I gotta see the slips for the official yield but they looked pretty good loading them on the trucks. They go to the mill and the mill uses them in our feed so it was good to get them all done
Soybeans done and plowing and fall tillage coming up. You guys planning on cover crops?? You mentioned triticale?? (I believe you mentioned that sometime back) . Making mistakes is all about the learning process.... Especially when it comes to soybean dust!!
I dont watch to learn anything. I watch to follow along on what's going on. On the farm. Now it's like watching beginning and the end of movie and missing the whole middle. Maybe just me
I never said anything about people watching to learn stuff, although there are a good amount of people who are not farmers that watch and learn things. I've seen it the past couple of years where you do a weeks worth of harvesting/chopping/baling and make a bunch of videos in a row of the same job in the field that the number of views drops each time. Its too bad you feel like you missed the middle of the movie, if there was something out of the norm that happened like a breakdown or something, I would have filmed it. That's the fun and challenging thing about being a content creator, I'm not just making content for Bryan Keator, I'm making content for thousands of subscribers and possibly new subscribers.
Wasn't trying to make it sound like that. Sorry to bother you. I know everyone does this for money. When you dont get the views you dont get anything. I get it. Been watching for years. Most channels are changing. Have good one Mike.
@@bryankeator8396 Haha I like that spin you put on my answer. First off I've always been very appreciative of my subscribers and anyone who supports me. I'm constantly saying that in my videos. Second, while yes I do get paid, that is not what I meant by my views dropping and you are smart person so you knew that. Like I said in the video when the views drop I take it as people not being as interested. I don't to put out videos that people do not want to see. I hope you have a good one too Bryan. I very much appreciate that you have been watching for years and the comments you leave. That's why no matter how busy I am I find time to respond to people when they comment and take the time to have a back and forth like this.
These video’s are a joy to watch. Thanks Mike.
Thank you Glen. I'm glad you enjoy the videos
Great video Mike👍🏾

I bet your glad one more thing is done for the season. Do you have any winter projects planned? Great video Mike
Always good to get things wrapped up. I have more winter projects then I have fingers to count them on!
@@mikep7810isn’t that usually how that goes? More stuff than you can count? Lol
Were you filling the semi using the drone?
I watch out the window of the tractor but if the drone is in the air I do use that too

@mikep7810 Do you ship to an oil crushing plant, and the meal back for your feed? Basically selling the oil from the beans, in a way?

We did 3 fields of rye for cover crop this year. Maybe one of these days I will do some triticale again
How many bushels can the tractor trailer hold?THe 7720 goes back 45 years ago
If I was to guess I'd say close to 1000 bushels
I haven"t been to a feed mill in years.
I'll take you there in the next video!
