Revisiting this video, I got my lovely boy in July and I used your videos to prepare for him moving in. He needed to be re-homed at only 1 yrs of age. I adore him and we get along so well. He doesn´t have a buddy yet but he seems to enjoy and seek out the company of humans. I keep his cage by my bed because the ruckus doesn´t bother me. He enjoys climbing onto my shoulder and nibbling at my ears. I always keep a sand bath out for him because otherwise he tries to "bathe" i my flower pots. He´s inquisitive of friends who come to visit and nibbles on everyone´s toes.
😂😂😂😂 soo cute 🥰 I love chinchillas so much but my mom is still Thinking about it
No. 20 Has happened to me numerous times. However, like you said, nobody is ever harmed. The first time I witnessed fur slips were shocking. My current chinchilla was very clever and always found a way to slip off, nonetheless the experience was very scary for both sides.
I think it's probably happened to every chinchilla owner at some point. Sometimes they seem to release their fur for really no reason at all 🙈
Such a helpful video. I love watching your videos. Thankyou
Thanks Ally❤
Great advice - Always look forward to your uploads. 😌
Great advice love your videos 💗💗
Your hair looks great! I love chinchillas! They are so mischievous, just like me! 😜 Love your videos and cool accent! 👍
You missed dust bath
Great informations, thank you so much. I also have 7 girls, and i give them dried sprigs of apple, pear, hazelnut, quince, sharp, grapevine, blackberry, currant. And these plants: dandelion flowers, plant and root, chamomile flowers, calendula flowers, linden flowers, rose hips leaves and dried fruits, raspberry leaves, currant leaves, nettle leaves and root , honeysuckle flowers. These plants are given a small amount, a few days apart. In addition, oat bran can be given, one teaspoon every few days. Now about the pollen. Once a week, i start with 2 or 3 pollen grains, give it in a day and see if they are not allergic (very rare cases). After that, the dose is gradually increased, until it reaches 10 or 15 pollen grains per week, the pollen having many vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and strengthens the immune system. Once a week, i give them a tablet or two of activated charcoal to chew it.
Hi Ally I'm getting Dusty some new chews how do you feel about yucca wood?
Yucca wood is safe for chins although I don't think I have ever bought toys containing yucca , so don't know how long it lasts when chewed.
@@AllysAnimalAntics Thanks!!!
All of mine are by themselves. All males. I had 2 pairs of males and had to split them both up due to spats. Great advice here!
Actually hamsters can live up to 9 years if you feed them correctly
Is it normal for your chinchilla to stay awake all day because mine does
What treats do you use. I am getting 2 girls at the end of May
I give mine plain rolled oats, plain shredded wheat, rose hips , oat groatd, goji berries (very sparingly). Dried nettles, dried dandelion, marshmallow root, apple sticks, bee pollen (again very sparingly) , hay cobs. Most of these treats I give small quantities of and not every day. Hope that helps
Well, the first thing I disagree with you...your videos are NEVER stupid. :-)
I have one and he is about 3 years old
Amazing video ally^
thank you
